Interpreter vs. the US

"U.S. forces apparently launched an airstrike that killed six Afghan civilians, including four children, because they were misled by an Afghan interpreter trying to settle scores, a senior government minister said Tuesday."

Read this story in light of the politically correct don't-ask-don't-tell mentality about radical Islam that seems to have pervaded the translation operations among Al-Qaeda and Taliban prisoners at Guantanamo Bay.

We might as well clear our War On Terror with Bin Laden himself (or his replacement). Sensitivity, you know.
I don't care who leaked to Bob Novak; I want to know who is the political correctness gate keeper in the White House through whom our WOT policy must be cleared.
But then the buck stops on the President's desk last time I checked.
Pathetic and disheartening.

Here's what it's going to take...dead Americans. Lots of dead Americans. More dead Americans than anyone here can imagine. Only then will the tough questions be asked. Only then will U.S. interogators be more interested in obtaining crucial intelligence than in appeasing a vocal minority. Only then will the American military be "permitted" to do what is necessary to protect themselves and us.
When the dead begin to pile up, I pray to God that each and every liberal muslim-hugger, islamic apologist experiences such terminal guilt that they put a bullet in their own brain. They will deserve much worse, but I'll take it.
