A reader named "Abu Bara" has posted the following as a comment to an earlier article here. He writes as a Muslim calling people to Islam; this is dawah, the indispensable precursor to jihad.
I tend to think the message was really written by a Muslim, as it sounds like many similar calls that I have read over the years. Also, it contains many small things that would be unusual for a non-Muslim posing as a Muslim to know how to formulate properly.
Please note in particular Abu Bara's statement that "Muslims are obliged to defend themselves under strict guidelines set down by Allah(swt) if the criteria is met then such defence is permissible. The acts of 9/11 fulfilled this criteria and hence were totally justified, there is no argument amongst the Islamic Scholars regarding this."
Note also that he invites questions. If, therefore, you have ever wanted to ask a radical Muslim anything -- about justifying 9/11 or anything else -- now's your chance.
"Islam calls all people to Tawheed: To believe that there is none worthy to worship follow or obey in truth except for Allah(swt) and accept Muhammad(saw) as His Final Messenger.
"If we look to the world we find that everything is weak, limited or dependant. Man is weak; plants depend on sunlight; the sun is powered by nuclear reactions that are themselves limited.
"At present we are all living in societies where the Law of God is not present, where man has taken legislation into his own hands rejecting his Creator both explicitly and implicitly. Consequently when the Law of God is not executed corruption spreads as Allah(swt) has informed us in the Koran. Today we see this in the form of homosexuality, alcoholism, Sexually transmitted diseases, money laundering via interest based transactions...the list is endless.
"As Muslims we believe the only solution is to refer to our Creator who has given us the answers through Koranic revelation and Prophetic revelation. We reject all other ways of life and then believe in Allah(swt) His names and attributes exclusively:
"[2:256] Let there be no compulsion in religion: Truth(Islam) stands out clear from Error(non-Islam): whoever rejects evil and believes in Allah hath grasped the most trustworthy hand-hold, that never breaks. And Allah heareth and knoweth all things.
"All of a Muslims actions are purely for the sake of Allah(swt) not from personal desire hence when judging actions such as 9/11 reference must be made to the text to see whether it conflicts. Muslims are obliged to defend themselves under strict guidelines set down by Allah(swt) if the criteria is met then such defence is permissible. The acts of 9/11 fulfilled this criteria and hence were totally justified, there is no argument amongst the Islamic Scholars regarding this.
Humanity for example stems from mans ration and desire, if we look to man for answers and obey and follow him we will stray. Allah(swt)created man and he has commanded all of mankind to worship follow and obey Him exclusively.
"[3:85]If anyone desires a religion other than Islam, never will it be accepted of him; and in the Hereafter He will be in the ranks of those who have lost.
"[3:185] Every soul shall have a taste of death: And only on the Day of Judgment shall you be paid your full reward. Only he who is saved far from the Fire and admitted to the Garden will have attained the object of Life: For the life of this world is but goods and chattels of deception.
"If you have any questions, by all means post them and i will do my best to answer them.
"Come to the call of Islam,
"Saiful Islam."
I can have no reasonable dialogue with any person who can justify the 9/11 terror attacks. Our perspectives are so completely different that we may as well be on different planets. I have only a statement: I am an evangelical Christian. I know exactly what I believe and why. I also know that free will means that I can never seek to impose my faith on another, let alone attempt to replace our constitutional republic with any sort of theocracy, whether it be Christian, islamic, etc. As such, I can further state that I will never be still and allow sharia to be imposed on this country, nor will I even try to find common ground with those who wish to impose it.
I hope that this leaves little doubt as to where I stand. I sincerely hope that there can be some sort of "detente" regarding this matter, but alas, I doubt that will ever be the case. I hate to say it, but thank God for the Second Amendment. I truly think things are going to get just that bad.
Does allah call on all Muslims to be cowardice? Does he think that living in caves and ordering the death of innocent men, women and children an act of war. Does he believe that having a man walk into a pizza parlor loaded with explosives on his back an act of defense? I think not. It is a coward who commits such acts. If they were true heros of Allah they would get out of their caves and face our forces head on, but they will not. They will continue to hide and take advantage of ignorant young men and woman with there propaganda and brainwashing. If you were a true hero Bin Laden, you would get out of your cave and fight and face the true heros of our world, the men and women of United States military. You cannot win and will never defeat liberty and freedom. God Bless America.
he asked for questions. i ask him to discuss the following: women forced to marry against their will, honor murders, female genital mutilation.
The problem with Islam is it never underwent a reformation the way Christianity did. Hence, you are left with something that philosophical has not evolved in 600 plus years. It's ideas are essentially sophomoric in philosophical terms.
Futhermore, Middle Eastern countries have not undergone an important aspect of democratization - separation of Church and State. They are all theocracies.
So you have sophomoric philosophical ideals made "legitimate" though a forced theocracy. At it's essence, it is no different than any other leftist philosophy (communism, nazism, fascism) that must be enforced via a regime for people to accept it.
And frankly, it doesn't have to be Islam. I'm not too keen on any religion being the basis of a government.
I'd have no problem with fundamental Islamists as long as they adhere to the ideals of separation of church and state, and they respect people's the freedom to choose to believe or not.
However, these fundamental Islamists have blind obedience to their doctrine - very similar to the way the Nazis believed in Hilter's final solution. I personally don't see how we can avoid a clash of cultures unless the moderate Islamists take back control and push for reformation. I hold out hope for this because the alternative is bloody for everyone.
Ah, but Mr. Patriot, although you have a very valid point, the biggest difference between Christianity/Islam regarding politics is simply that Christ had very little to say regarding government. In fact, one could make a case that He was apolitical. This is the polar opposite of Islam, which dictates that any non-islamic government is illegitimate and backs it up with korannic verses. One would be hard-pressed to find similar verses in the New Testament. Truly, this dynamic is one reason I always laugh when someone spouts the "Islam is the fastest growing religion......" stuff. It is relatively easy to grow your ideology when non-believers in your midst are made to feel inferior/insecure, and/or simply killed outright.
Question: If "allah" is god and islam has his blessing, why have islamic nations been blessed with desert, poverty, starvation, war, disease, tyranny and as we see in fundimentalist Iran, devastating natural disasters, while Christian nations like the U.S. are blessed with wealth, an abundance of food, and in general the most comfortable society in the world?
Question: If "allah" is all powerful, why is he so impotent that he has to have your murderous jihadis attack us? If YOU don't attack us, "he" can't?
Question: If islam is so wonderful, why does it need to be spread by the sword? Why does it need to threaten death to keep people from leaving? Why does it fear to allow Christian missionaries simply to talk to its people?
Answer: The God of heaven and earth, the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob is not "allah". There is no god allah.
Answer:Allah is no god and therefore has no power except the power of the imaginings of twisted men.
Answer:Islam is a false religion. It is a satanic death/suicide cult. It is the modern manifestation of the cults of baal and molech. You put your children through the fire and flagellate yourselves until bloody. Islam cannot stand in the face of Truth and so must do everything it can to suppress other ideas, especially Truth.
OH I have a question, after the earthquake in Iran, is he reconsidering praying for the ground to shake under the feet of the infidel?
Sir, I will not argue religion and who is right or wrong since it makes little difference under the circumstances. What does matter is that you understand that the 'Western dogs of war' have been unleashed on the perpetrators of 9/11 and a host of other cowardly attacks on Western and specifically U.S. interests. Now all I can say is may God have mercy on you because the U.S. Military won't!!!
Mr. Spencer, I had to read through all of the comments regarding the original post. I'd just humbly ask that you do your best NOT to have to close down the comments section. Just like the poor, there will always be uncouth morons among us, who choose rhetorical bombthrowing to reasoned debate. But I have to say that for me personally it is nice to read so many comments and I'm heartened to see that so many of my fellow freedom-loving citizens are educating themselves and paying attention to these critical issues.
Thanks,
Doug
That this Saracens actually believes he will be able to convince anyone to adopt the Muhammedan religion is absurd. Even at the time of the Pedophile the only way to get anyone to convert to Islam was by threatening to kill them.
Nowadays the only converts are among criminals in prison, and the brain-dead communists.
It was actually Uthman who destroyed all the "non-conforming" Korans.
Mr Abu Bara:
I am interested in how you evaluate Buddha and buddhism.
Also I wonder why the Quran wasn´t made available earlier to mankind. There is a very large amount of history before Mohammed.
I recently watched Mr. Spencer on tv and felt a need to respond to his statement regarding the reason Islam rejects democracy. Without repeating the interview I do think that the reasons would be more in the area of there having seen our idea of democracy as practiced in Israel, not exactly egalitarianism in providing a model for the Arabs. Along with our history in importing terrorist activities in other parts of the world besides theirs, South America, Cuba, and on and on. It is unforunate that this has come to our shores. I in no way support the efforts of terrorism regardless of its source, merely would like to temper the "spin" one puts on events to further their own agendas finding it difficult sometimes to find facts without the editorials. Thank you.
