The horror continues.

A suicide bomber blew up a bus near the prime minister's residence Thursday, killing 10 bystanders and wounding at least 50 in the deadliest attack in four months.No one claimed responsibility for the bombing, which dealt a further setback to stalled peace efforts and coincided with a German-brokered prisoner swap between Israel and the Lebanese guerrilla group Hezbollah. Israel said the exchange was going ahead as planned.
The bombing occurred just before 9 a.m. in the Rehavia district of downtown Jerusalem, some 15 yards from Sharon's official residence. Sharon was not home at the time.
The green bus was charred, with wires dangling everywhere. One side of the bus had been blown out and the back half of the roof was blown off. Police said the explosion went off in the middle or back of the crowded bus and was so powerful that body parts flew into nearby houses.
Google News has links to stories on the Muslim Hajj and the Israeli/Hesbollah prisoner exchange today. There is NO MENTION of this horrific mass murder. The media whitewash goes on.
And of course the words "vicious cycle of violence" were broadcasted over and over on European stations, linking this to the killing of eight Palestinians by the IDF a few days ago. Never mind that those eight were armed and engaged in battle with the IDF (saw picture on LGF) and this was a bus full of civilians. This is so sick..
My condolences to the families of the murderer's victims. Israel, stand strong.
As per Haaretz article the driver of the bus who was injured in the blast said that he didn't spot anyone suspicious boarding on the bus. It also mentioned that blast will serve Sharon or the settlers.
The destruction of this incident can tell that to carry such an attack, possibly a single person cannot do that. The out cry waving by Israel on this particular incident at the upcoming court date at the Hague and Sharon's bribery scandal just got knocked off of the front page news. This bus bomb HELPED Israel and Sharon. It certainly could not helped the Palestinians, who had much more to gain by doing nothing while the Hague took care of the wall and the criminal courts took care of Sharon.
