On Monday I read about a “Rap video glorifying Laden”. I was curious, so I tracked it down on the net. It’s called ‘Dirty Kuffar’, meaning Dirty Unbeliever, and is designed to inspire people to take up Jihad against the West. I don’t really have a comment on the video. It is what it is. I’ve seen even more ignorant productions by American ‘Christians’, so it doesn’t surprise me one bit.
Today I opened up my web browser to find “Report: Bin Laden’s Driver at U.S. Base” from CNN on my start page. A few clicks later I was at the article. But wait a minute.. what’s a picture from the Rap video doing here? It’s an image of a masked man holding a gun in one hand, a book in the other and an Iraqi flag in the background. I read the text and IT HAS NO RELATION TO THE CONTENT IN THE ARTICLE WHATSOEVER!!!
The only connection (if you could call it that) between the two is Bin Laden. The article is about a Yemeni captive in Guantanamo Bay who claims to be a past employee of Bin Laden. It’s centered around the captive. The Rap video is about modern world terror and a call for action. It glorifies Bin Laden, but he’s clearly not the focus as other world terrorists are shown. The image is inappropriate for the article and insinuates something much darker.
My questions is: what is CNN’s intention?
Is their intention to objectively report news? Or is it to purposely deceive and mislead? Or do they lack an understanding of the topic?
My next question is: who is behind their intentions?
Does CNN report for the sake of quality journalism? Or do they report for someone’s bottom line?
Knowing how uneducated Americans are, things like this scare me. It’s hard enough these days to open up a newspaper and NOT be terrorized by images or headlines. What does it mean when we are being terrorized for no good reason? And how can we tell the difference anymore? You can’t trust the news, you can’t trust the government and people are loosing trust in one another.
My last question is: what do we have left to trust and to honor, and how can we nurture it?

Here's a hint...it wasn't the Europeans. Being that parts of Africa is tribal, one tribe wouldn't mind getting rid of the other. So, why slaughter when you can instead "sell" your rival tribesman and make a profit?
By the way, black slavery still literally goes on in the Middle East today, unlike the States. Merchants from countries like Lebanon go to West Africa, round up some locals, lure them back to home by promising to pay them and treat them well, and they stay for 10 years with no pay and no good treatment and then send the Africans back home. Whether if a so-called moderate Muslim says that terrorism is bad but then says something different in their own home, I don't know, even though it probably goes on. And in another Hadith the Prophet (PBUH) said:"The best generation is my generation and then those who fllow them and then those who fllow them (Three generations)"
