A press release from Anti-CAIR:
On January 7th, 2004, the director of Anti-Council on American Islamic Relations (ACAIR) received a letter from an attorney representing the Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR). In the letter, Jeremiah Denton III, a Virginia Beach, Va. Attorney, threatened a lawsuit for defamation over comments made in "press releases" by ACAIR.ACAIR, a Virginia Beach, Va. based grass roots organization opposed to the militant Islam supporting CAIR, temporarily shut down operations in early January in response to the CAIR legal threat. Since then, ACAIR has limited its press releases and commentary to avoid provoking a lawsuit from CAIR. In the meanwhile, ACAIR staff has carefully examined all the material presented on our web site for accuracy. We have concluded that all material is accurate, truthful and is reliably sourced.
Accordingly, effective immediately, Anti-CAIR is resuming normal operations in our "war" against militant Islam. In addition, we are working on new programs and procedures to counteract the influence of CAIR in the national media and on the local front. ACAIR will seek to provide more "cutting edge" material on CAIR and will work more closely with other groups fighting CAIR and other anti-American militant Islamist groups. In short, we're expanding.
We do not know what the future will bring, but should CAIR launch a lawsuit against ACAIR, we know that the truth is an absolute defense against an accusation of defamation and we stand ready to vigorously defend our position.
ACAIR staff would like to thank all those individuals and groups who have lent their support in this trying time.

I didn't see anything on the ACAIR website that seemed libelous, fictitious, or hateful.
What CAIR does is similar to Arafat's technique, doublespeak: appeasing westerners in English, promoting terrorism in Arabic.
In Arafat's case it's terrorism, calling for the destruction of Israel. In CAIR's case it's a political agenda, calling for the destruction of American society as we know it.
I hope ACAIR has a good lawyer. I'm sure Mr. Hooper will get plenty of money from the Saudis to help him in his fight against Western civilization.
I've been on their email list for as long as they've been operational. A very good organization. Spread the word.
I suspect that once CAIR decides that ACAIR isn't going to back down, they will drop the lawsuit, and like cockroaches, scurry back into the dark.

Let me reassure the readers that there is at least one operative within the ranks of ACAIR that has established working relations with two key Senate subcommittees, including two very miffed congressmen who would probably love to take Ibrahim Hooper and his muslim honcho Nihad Awad to a shooting range (for a couple of beers and target practice).
If this goes to court, CAIR will have to go through the discovery process - something that we all know that CAIR cannot afford.
CAIR makes threats, but a court case that would bring out the truth? Surely, CAIR doesn't want that.
Their whole org. rests on the balance of maintaining an IMAGE covering the truth of what they really are. If the balance tips towards the truth and breaks the image, they're doomed.
It seems CAIR would seek to protect that image (with threats and intimidation) but never tip the balance to break the image(a public court case they know they will lose and therefore be more widely exposed).
I'm sorry Anti-CAIR is having to deal with this tho, I know it must be a pain, but Anti-CAIR has a power on their side that CAIR cannot stand up against, the power to break the image.
Its about time we exposed this Islamic Front for the Islamization of America, the funding of Islam and Terrorists organization and the organization which is placing Islamic Schools books in our schools to change the face of our Country. Good Riddence. I cant wait to see the demise of this filth cult.

A HUGE sigh of relief! Finally someone with clout is doing more than talk. PC mentality will result in the current British climate where people wanting to speak out are "afraid" of being labeled bigots or hatemongers, or even jailed, as correspondents have told me. We can not allow the establishment of such a climate.
