The correct day of the Sabbath is immaterial. The important fact is that once should keep a day. Friday, Saturday, Sunday, eventually we picked one for convenience and, as Judaism already had chosen one, Christians chose another. Then along came Islam, the last one, and decided to make a different choice from Christianity and chose instead to use the day of the Jewish Sabbath.

How we keep the Sabbath is matter of debate. God is not raining down lightning bolts on us because we don't all do it the same way. That in itself should be the big clue.

Mr. Jihadi, this is a simple suggestion, nothing more - nothing less. I believe it would be helpful for you to take a course in comparative religion. Christians and Jews celebrate the Sabbath in very different ways. For instance, to a Christian, the Sabbath (defined historically as occurring on Sunday) is a time to go to church, relax and enjoy the day. They can go out shopping, write friends, make internet postings, use electricity, etc. Jews, however, do not do these things, with the exception of going to the Synagogue, because their understanding of working on the Sabbath stems from the idea that a person should not do any creative work. The word Sabbath (itself) is the Hebrew word for ceasing (or making a strike from) work - specifically creative forms of work. As such, Jews don't (or should not if they are Torah observant) write - this involves creating a letter, note, etc. - the use of electricity - this is creating a fire, via a spark - cook, use money, etc. Christians, as such, can do many things that Jews do not do. So, to my mind, it does you little good to rail at the Christians on this site because, according to their belief systems, they are not doing anything wrong. This being said, I hope that has cleared up that issue for the present.

Ok Umar, just the Koran then. Mohammed did not write the Koran. He spoke it as commanded by the angel, according to Islamic tradition. The very word "Koran/Quaran means "recited" or "spoken", not "written". What Mohammed said was written down by his followers. There is no copy of the Koran in Mohammed's handwriting in existance, or is there even a record of one ever having existed. In fact, the Koran as it exists today did not even exist during Mohammed's lifetime and was compiled in its' current form a few years after his death. Mohammed is called a prophet, yet there is no prophecy in the Koran. See Deuteronomy 18, verses 20-22 for God's description to Moses of what a true prophet is. Mohammed does not qualify. Muslims say Mohammed is like Moses. Yet Moses was educated in the courts of Pharaoh of Egypt, and Mohammed was illitterate. Mohammed died without God having appointed a sucessor as prophet, leading to his nephew being elected prophet and then murdered, starting the whole Shia vs. Sunni thing. Moses was told by God to appoint Joshua as his successor before he died. Mohammed is supposed to be the "comforter" that Jesus spoke of, at least that is what Muslims believe. But Jesus told his followers that " I will send YOU the comforter A FEW DAYS FROM NOW." Mohammed came about 630 years later to a group of non-Jews. Hardly a "few days from now" and not to the specific group Jesus mentioned. If Jesus had been wrong in this prophecy, or any of the others he made, he would have been a false prophet as outlined by God in Deuteronomy 18:20-22. That goes for his prophecy about his death on the cross and his resurrection also. I think you know very little about the bible and are just repeating what you have heard, which is false. The bible has no errors, by Paul or anyone else. What you are saying by making that statement is that God is not able to preserve his word from corruption, and that is blasphemy.

A lot of the hadith we quote on here are from Bukhari and Muslim, Which both carry the title "Sahih" or "sound" which, as that title infers, are taken to be 100% legit.

Actually Umar, your muslim scholars now cite 101.
All of which can be accounted for. The majority of them, upon closer inspection, were not errors at all. There were however a couple of copyist errors, which were pretty trivial. for a fuller explanation go to this page once you get past the intro (which is very good but quite long -worth the study though) it deals with every charge.
