Jihad comes to Holland. From AP, with thanks to Twostellas and Jean-Luc:
Young Dutch Muslims are being recruited for armed terrorism missions against Western targets, the Dutch secret service said Wednesday. In a note to parliament, the agency known by its Dutch acronym AIVD repeated its November 2002 warning that recruits are active in the Netherlands.
"It's known that some stayed in a training camp. Others are involved in supporting Islamic terrorism-related activities like arranging money and passports," the agency said. "Still others are in turn trying to win over other potential recruits."
Since the Sept. 11, 2001, terror attacks on the U.S., 17 terrorism suspects have been tried in the Netherlands on the basis of information provided by the secret service, including 12 suspects accused of belonging to a recruitment ring. All were acquitted of major offenses.
There has not been a terrorist attack in the Netherlands in recent years, although two young Dutch Muslims were killed in 2001 while apparently attempting an attack on Indian forces in the disputed, predominantly Muslim territory of Kashmir.
"In the past year and a half, there was a noticeable decrease in the age of the group of young men susceptible to recruitment," the AIVD said. "In some groups of young Muslims, the wish to take part in jihad appears to be part of youth culture."
The agency said that some Islamic-interest Web sites frequented by young men appeared to be "fascinated with violence."
"It definitely can't be ruled out that some of these youths just want to make an impression on their peers with radical behavior and statements," the AIVD said.
The agency also added that it had "established that some Muslim women, too, foster sympathetic feelings for the violent Islamic struggle. However, they don't play a prominent role in recruiting, as far as is known."
Umar- so much for your name calling of Christians. Not to mention your referring them to "kiddie fiddlers." Maybe you should take a glance at your elitest Muslim brothers the next time you use that description.
Boy Rape in Sudan

As he began speaking, Majok lowered his small coca colored eyes and stared intensely at the ground. It was the summer of 2002 and I had just flown thousands of miles deep into the war zone of Sudan, the largest country in Africa, to interview former slaves.
“They raped me,” Majok cried. “And when I tried to refuse they beat me.”
After he worked all day taking care of his master’s cattle, Majok said he was often raped at night. He told me that his rapes were very painful and he would rarely get a full night’s sleep.
He also spoke about the other slave boys he saw who suffered his same fate. “I saw with my eyes other boys get raped,” Majok said. “He [the master] went to collect the other boys and took them to that special place. [ ] I saw them get raped.”
It appears that you're in a glass house, throwing rocks would kinda be a dumb idea, wouldn't you say?
