Palestinians celebrate the murders

ASHDOD, Israel — Two Palestinian suicide attackers exploded bombs in this closely guarded Israeli seaport on Sunday, killing nine Israeli bystanders and wounding 18, police said. The Al Aqsa Martyrs' Brigades, a militant group with ties to Palestinian leader Yasser Arafat's Fatah movement, claimed responsibility, saying it carried out the bombings with the Islamic militant Hamas. There was no immediate word from Hamas.It was the first suicide attack on an Israeli seaport in more than three years of Israeli-Palestinian fighting, underscoring Israel's vulnerability despite stringent security measures.
Ashdod is on the Mediterranean coast in the southern part of Israel, not far from the Gaza Strip which is surrounded by a security barrier.
Israeli Cabinet Minister Yosef Paritzky said the assailants "found a weak point and exploited it."
"A port, by nature, is a very busy place," he said. "There are many people coming and going. It is impossible to seal the entire country hermetically."
The explosions went off just before 5 p.m. in two separate areas of the port. Port worker Sami Pinto said that he saw smoke from the explosion near the fence of the port facility and in a workshop inside.
"One of our workers who was lightly wounded told me that the terrorist came in and asked for water, and the moment he showed him where there was a tap, he blew up," Pinto told Israel Army Radio.
Police said two bodies near the scene were suicide bombers. Rescue services spokesman Yerucham Mendola said "some of the victims were thrown a long distance" by the blasts.
The choice of target was unusual. In 111 previous suicide bombers, Palestinian attackers often chose buses, cafes and shopping malls, killing more than 450 people.
This is what the Palestinians did on Sept. 11th....danced in their little slums in celebration. They can't co-exist with anyone...If no Palestinians were permitted into Israel to go to work it would starve them out completely. Yet they dance upon Israeli deaths. They truly are sick. Finish the wall.....
Imagine the reaction if Israelis had a party every time they blew up a car full of terrorists? The media would call them barbarians. Islam loves a good double standard.
The terrorists apparently had intended to create greater destruction with their choice of targets.

The bombers, dispatched in a joint operation by Hamas and Fatah, apparently planned to launch a mega-attack and blow up near dangerous materials stored at the port, security officials said.
Well, I just noticed while reading this article that I am much relieved to note the use of "Suicide Bombers" instead of "Martyrdom Warriors" or Mujehadin. Small consolation (and I do understand the difference between the names) but, after reading the MidEast Press and its constant use of the Islamicly Correct term Martyrdom, at least here a spade is indeed called a spade.
Oh Nathan... man I agree. I have been saying that for a long time now. Martyr's are amazing people with amazing faith. Who went to their deaths in a Christ like manor. It's shameful but no suprising that the western media has latched on to the perversion of this term. Someone who blows himself up is not a martyr. Is simply murder with a twist of suicide.
Excellent website, and I agree that the Palestinians do not want peace with Israel. They seek the destruction of Israel.
