While Islam Online says that Sunnis are joining in the Shi'ite uprising in Iraq, at least one Sunni — the radical Muslim leader Mussab al-Zarqawi — remains in the opposition. From AFP:

DUBAI (AFP) - Jordanian Mussab al-Zarqawi, the alleged leader of a network in Iraq believed responsible for several attacks there, threatened US-led forces in a recording broadcast on an Islamist website.

In the message said to have originated from inside Iraq, Zarqawi claimed that his "heroic Mujahedin have killed more than 200 soldiers from the coalition of the crusaders."

Taking credit for several attacks, Zarqawi said "the most recent and not the last was against the Israeli Mossad in the Jabal Lubnan hotel."

A strong car bomb explosion in front of that hotel on March 17 killed seven people and wounded a dozen people.

"We have torn up their bodies in several places: at the UN in Baghdad, coalition forces in Kerbala, the Italians in Nasirijah, American forces on the al-Khalidiya bridge, US intelligence agents at the Hotel Chahine and the presidential palace in Baghdad, the CIA at the Hotel Rachid, Polish forces at Hilla," he said.

An expert on Islamist organizations told AFP on condition of anonymity that the voice on the tape was identical to that of three previous recordings attributed to Zarqawi, who is suspected of links to al-Qaeda chief Osama bin Laden, and like him, has had a bounty of 10 million dollars place on his head by US authorities.

Zarqawi, whose real name is Fadel Nazzal Al-Khalayleh, is considered by US officials as one of Al-Qaeda's top experts in biological and chemical weapons.

He has also been linked to the killing of Laurence Foley, an official of US aid agency USAID, who was shot dead outside his home in the Jordanian capital Amman in October 2002.

In his message, posted on the site www.hostnow.biz/iraq4u/realahl.rm, Zaraqawi also sharply criticizes Iraq's majority Shiite Muslims as a "Trojan horse used by the enemies of the nation" to take over the country.

He also had sharp words for the spiritual head of Iraq's Shiite majority, Grand Ayatollah Ali Sistani, who has appealed for calm and urged dialog amid recent clashes between Shiite militias and coalition troops, calling him the "imam of atheism".

"The Shiites are the allies of the Jews and Americans. They are helping kill Muslims," he said.

Can't our forces hit Fallujah and Tikrit with large doses of a sleep agent, then pick the murderous thugs out as they lie horizontally in their dirt streets?

This confirms my view that the " muslim brotherhood " is more of a hype than a reality. The Jihadist mentality is a path of endless killing.......among Muslims as seen in Afghanistan. That basketcase of endless hatred and violence was the prime example of how the entire world should be in the view of the Jihadist.

IF America fails to bring civil norms and basic individual rights of Western Civilization to Iraq, it will degenerate into camps of armed religious fanatics out to kill off each other.

From our point of view, I feel we have failed to disarm the nation of Iraq. We have allowed just too many rifle toten nuts roam around in that country. A armed milita is the logical consequence of that cultural norm. And attacks on Americans and other coalition forces is the logical consequence of militas. The idiots must be disarmed not ignored.

Hi DC - THIS guy might be a true hero - because someones seems to fullfill what I know - VERY SOON he writes (http://www.homelandsecurityus.com/zarqawi.htm)- I'm waiting! ;)

Good Luck Me Boy ;) ~ my hero - we'll seeeeya ;)

Hi, D.C.--yes, there is a sleep agent that could be used in some situations. It's a common anesthetic agent called Fentanyl. It's the same one used in that Russian theater that was taken over by terrorists--the Russians used Fentanyl, and it dropped the terrorists like flies.

Unfortunately, since the use of Fentanyl probably comes under the category of "gas warfare," when the unconscious patients were transported to the hospital, the Russkies refused to say what had been used because they didn't want to be accused of using gas warfare. There is another agent called Narcan that readily reverses the effects of Fentanyl, and probably could have saved most of those people if the docs had only known what had been used. Narcan is readily available, even in Russia.

The Fentanyl has one drawback in some situations; it can only be used in an enclosed space, otherwise it gets too dilute to be of much use. Still, it could be useful if some a**h*** we want is holed up (no pun intended) in a mosque. That way, we wouldn't even have to offend their sensibilities by going in after the a**h***.

I still think, though, that my plan is best. Here it is: You liquify vast quantities of pig poop, mix it thoroughly with the same adhesive agents that are used in chemical weapons, and then you spray the mix all over any trouble spot until the "weapon" is several inches thick.

Now THAT'S a showstopper!
