Hmmmm....food served at the company lunchroom would have to be "halal," and items such as ham sandwiches would be removed the menus, with the lunch room completely shut down during Ramadan, a strict dress code for all women workers, so not too offend the male Muslim workers, special prayer rooms for Muslims, who could take their sweet time with prayers while their fellow non-Muslims were obliged to keep working, special paid holidays for Muslims, paid-for-by-the-company trips to Mecca for Muslims workers so they could fulfill their Haj duty, etc. etc. etc. And, finally, the sign on the company door that read, "Job Opening. No one consulted the British people about whether they wanted forced large scale immigration of primitive people into our advanced society. Nathan - A Bangladeshi mosque has won permission (although it's being contested) to broadcast amplified calls to prayer five times a day in Hamtramck, MI. Christians say they don't want to hear that Allah is the one true god broadcast into their heads five times a day. Needless to say, the wishes of the descendants of the Christians who came to an unknown continent and developed an entire civilisation and went on to become the most powerful and most beneficent nation in the history of the world, come a poor second to the wishes of recent Muslim immigrants who have contributed nothing but certainly know their "rights". Some of the lecture-y comments about "tolerance" from Muslim "spokesmen" make you want to slap them.
The citizenry of Hamtramck got up a petition to overturn the council ruling and got the required number of signatures - but the council says they still won't overturn the order and will put it up at the next council election. So screw American citizens, and screw British citizens and screw French citizens (although the French are acting on the quiet)- as long as we win the hearts and minds of the Islamics ... those great contributors to the wealth of nations.

At times we seem to forget that Islamist extremists and apologizers (e.g. Reza and Mahmoud) ARE truly persons striving for peace. Problem is, to Muslims peace will only be obtained when all humanity bows to Allah, accepts Sharia, and follows the Qu'ran. Until then, their prophets and the Qu'ran requires that they strive for this era of "peace" by employing ANY means necessary, including the sword, taqiyya or kitman, or any deception. From their perspective, they are "fighting" for "peace." And in this "war for peace" there are NO INNOCENTS. ANYONE, who is not a Muslim, is the enemy who must be forced to convert or be killed. Also, any killing or butchery or deception to advance the cause of their jihad is good, because it promotes the "peace" they seek of one-world Muslim theocracy. Consequently, in the twisted malignant logic of their "religion" they consistently maintain that they seek peace, even while they kill and maim what we perceive as innocents in the name of their "god."
Also, it appears to me that the vast majority of Americans (and other non-Muslims around the world) do not realize that Islam is not really a religion, per se. It is a complete socio-politico-legal system wrapped in the veneer of religion. Like communism and other utopian philosophies, it embraces the fanasy of the perfectability of mankind on earth. Similar to all other utopian ideas, it implicitly posits that all mankind can be "transformed" and that it will ultimately usher in an era of one-world peace, once their "perfect system" or "truth" prevails. It is, of course, just fantasy, but no different than the myriad of other utopian ideas that have instead led to some of the greatest attrocities experienced by mankind. That is why we MUST carry this message beyond this web site to the teachers, politicians, and other influencers in our society, before this cancer spreads any further.
Unfortunately, it appears that Islamist extremism will always be with us, regardless of what we or even the Muslims do. For even if a "moderate" and "tolerant" Islam "evolves" over time, extemists will always arise claiming the moderates are backsliders who are ignoring the explicit tenets of Islam and the Qu'ran and calling for jihad. The failure to undertake the most elementary examination of what it is that causes Muslims, alone among all the immigrants (compare the Hindus, or the Chinese -- they may possess alien creeds, but not hostile creeds) to the West, to represent a permanent sullan and disloyal minority -- disloyal to the nation-state, but loyal to the umma al-islamiyya.
Did anyone in the government go up to Durham to talk to A. K. S. Lambton? She is now over 90, but as the great expert on modern Persia (and author of the standard Persian grammar for students) she used to have a certain influence in the British government. It helped that her aunt was the wife of Harold Macmillan, and that she had other relatives of influence, including "Uncle Bobbitty." There are people, somewhere in the U.K., who know about Islam. Why not cut out the nonsense, ignore the Arabists, and talk to them? Really, the pretense that there is a way to win "hearts and minds" when Islam itself is very clear on its attitude toward non-Muslims and their (temporary) polities.
Words matter. Muslims do not feel "humiliated." They are not "humiliated" when they impose the shari'a on Christians in northern Nigeria. They are not "humiliated" when they kill 2 million Christian and animist blacks in a slow-motion genocide in the southern Sudan. They are not "humiliated" when they decapiate Buddhists in southerh Thailand. It was not out of "humiliation" that between 2,300 and 4,00 churches were destroyed, in 2003, by Muslims in Indonesia. It is not "humiliation" that explains the beheading of Hindu peasants in Bangladesh, threats against "Infidel" Ahmaddiya Muslims (Qadianis). It was not "humiliation" but rather a sense of Muslim triumph that lead Khomeini, and that hanging judge Khalkhali, to execute many Baha'i, Christian, and Jewish community leaders, as soon as the Ayatollah came to power. It was not "humiliation" that lead to the bombing in Madrid, but a sense that this was the way to impose Muslim will on what is, after all, Al-Andaluz, and deserves special attention as a former part, for 500 years, of the dar al-Islam.
No, what explains Muslim hostility is Islam itself. And while Muslims in England will be happy to pocket whatever the government doles out, this does not change the belief-system that explains that hostility. How does the British government propose to change the passages in the Qur'an and the hadith that form the basis of the seromons at Friday Prayers? How do they propose to change the passages that are mmemorized from an early age, and that inculcate hatred of non-Muslims? Do they intend to publish Bowdlerized versions of the Qur'an? To take the Sahih Bukhari and the Sahih Muslim and all the other collections of "strong" hadith and siimply to burn them, or to abridge them, or what? Just how do they plan to proceed?
What does it mean to support "moderate" Muslims? What texts will those "moderate" Muslims use? Will they declare, again and again -- and mean it -- that Muslims must be loyal to the Infidel nation-state, that the push to "dominate and not be dominated" which is the natural right, according to Muhammad, of Islam, must end, that Muslims must recognize a pluralistic world, that within the dar al-Islam non-Muslims must be given the same rights as Muslims, just as they are demanding in dar al-Harb? How exactly is all of this to come to pass?
And since everyone in the world has problems, but only Muslims have the mental grid that provides them with a ready-made explanation for those problems -- the Infidels, the cursed and hateful Infidels -- what does the British government intend to do? We, Infidels, when our jobs are lost, when we lose our money or our girlfriend, when things are not working out, can and do blame any number of things. We can blame our parents. We can blame our unworthy children. We can blame The System. We can blame fate or the influence of the stars. We can blame our siblings. We can blame capitalism. We can blame our cholestoral level, or our serotonin level, or malfunctioning neuroreceptors. Oh, we can even blame ourselves.
But Muslims do not blame, when they are out of work, or not earning what they would like, or not being treated with the deference due to Believers from non-Believers (an unnatural sitatuion, to live among Infidels who do not behave in the submissive manner they should), or having been ignored by a girl, anything but what the narrative of Islam provides. Not the stars, nor fate, nor parents nor cholesterol level, nor the fact that I ran out of librium or viagra or St. Joseph's baby aspirin, no -- the fault lies with the Infidels.
The failure to think this through, by people who really ought to begin to think about Islam and what it teaches -- why in god's name did Ataturk have to monitor the mosques? and why did he deliberately keep those who seemed to be the most enthusiastic Muslims out of the army, and out of government service? And perhaps the government of Singapore, with its strict regulation of Islam, could help out here -- what is it that Lee Kuan Yew and company know about Islam, given that they grew up in a part of the world where the local Chinese and Hindus are swamped by those Muslims?
What is wrong with the leaders of the Western world? The sheer craziness of this plan, the self-defeating and delusional nature of it all, the obvious unwillingness to study the matter and learn what the real problem is, infuriates.

LKY is an exceptional intelligence. If the rest of us don't get it, it is not his fault. It's all spelled out in From Third World to First World, his superbly readable history of the creation of Singapore. In fact, it's so good that it's one of those books that you swear you'll only read to the end of the chapter before turning off the light and going to sleep, and then you think, 'Oh well, I'll just see what the next chapter's about'. LKY had to cope with the fact that Singapore had previously been a state of Malaysia and now, a tiny, tiny, island of 2.5m, was going it alone. And the fact that Indonesia, a few miles across the ocean had the world's largest Islamic population (today 190m).
Singapore handled the Muslim situation very cleverly for the time it took Singapore to become one of the most famous countries in the world.
They have constantly tried, by so many means and experiments, to bring the Muslim intelligence up to standard by education, but the education is fought in the home.
Sub-standard Muslim pupils all over the world have to be abandoned - or commanded to perform. Bending the exams to suit their priest-ridden levels will not advance civilisation.

In 1971 India and pakistan went to war the paks lost (as usual) pak soldiers in east pakistan/bangladesh were helped to escape to west pakistan by so called indian moslems, they were provided with food & accomodation in mosques.
