Church leaders in Norway are trying to get old churches turned into mosques. From Aftenposten, with thanks to Ali Dashti:
Progress Party leader Carl I. Hagen argued Wednesday that dilapidated Norwegian churches should not be eligible to be converted to mosques - a suggestion put forward by state church leaders. Prime Minister and Christian Democrat Kjell Magne Bondevik is not enthusiastic about the proposed conversion, but said the final decision was for church and not state. Kirkerådet - the National Council of the Church of Norway - said last month that the deconsecration of churches that had fallen into disuse and disrepair was an option to create buildings for other worthy goals.The Council's suggestion included turning the decaying buildings into cultural centers, concert halls or mosques - the latter suggestion being one the Progress Party isn't going to take sitting down.
"The church means so much for Norwegian cultural heritage that they must at least not become a house of worship for another religion," Hagen said during parliamentary question time on Wednesday.
PM Bondevik conceded that he felt it would be "unnatural" for Norwegian churches to become mosques, but felt this was finally a decision for the church.
"The Church has comprehensive autonomy in spiritual matters," Bondevik said.
They have allready turned the UN into a mosque.
and I want all the churches which have become mosques to be changed back into churches throughout the Middle East and Central Asia.

A Norwegian friend was recently naturalized as an American and is looking to bring her family over because Norway is losing its character to immigration and they can't stand the crime and nonsense anymore.

My jaw hit the floor when I read this. How can this madness be happening? It brings to mind the saying : All it takes for evil to triumph is for good men to do nothing. Islam is the ENEMY!!!! It is NOT going to be placated by playing nice........Do you think that a friggin' mullah or imam would ever say it's ok to turn a mosque into a church? NO. They do NOT want to co-exist - they want to be the only religion by converting who they can & KILLING THE REST!
I have said this before that in 25-30 years one if not two European countries will become predominantly muslim.
The Europeans are laying down like sheep to be slaughtered. Why won't they work to preserve their culture and heritage? Why are the religious leaders not calling people back to the Church?
I fear that my children or grandchildren will be called upon to liberate Europe again.

This article is very disturbing. It truly shows that today's Europe really has no grasp of what it's dealing with. Unfortunate and dangerous.
While they're at it, the Norwegians might as well donate their Boy Scout camps to the Hitler Youth...

i think western europe will fall to islam because they are too soft and politically correct, and western europe will nolonger be what it once was, no longer free or wealthy like all muslim countries, i think easten europe will be the "new" europe as termed by kernal powell, simply because muslim migrants dont go there cause its not safe for them and people are openly hostile and call a spade a spade ,no soft political correctness to use against them , they dont care for that.
I can only hope and pray the Norwegians will realize where this is going.
What is the future of the EU? On one hand you have this sort of thing happening in countries such as Britain, France, Germany, and Norway. On the other there are the countries with strong Catholic/Orthodox/Protestant roots, such as Poland.
I shudder to think what could be in 50 years.
There was a TV-debate about this on national TV in Norway last night. As usual when anything which has to do with islam is on the agenda the debate was rather chaotic, with everybody talking at the same time.
The priest who made the proposal took part, but not many of the others supported him. His strongest and most outspoken opponent probably was Mr Finn Jarle Sæle, editor of a conservative christian newspaper which has warned about the threat from islam for years. He also managed to tell a few truths about islam as such.
Another christian (a TV-evangelist) was obviously more busy trying to use this opportunity to preach the christian gospel than to expose islam, although he did oppose the proposal of turning churches into mosques.
A representtive from the Humane Ethical Society in Norway was rather vague. He seemed to favour a solution where spare churches could be made into multi-functional sites, to be used by several faiths.
There were also two muslim representatives, one Pakistani immigrant, and one Norwegian convertite. The Pakistani supported the proposal, while the Norwegian was somewhat sceptical about it.
During the debate there was also a phone-in opinion poll. The result was shown at the end of the debate. Of those who phoned 96% were opposed to the proposal, while 4% favoured it.
Has anyone else noticed that where ever Islam touches another culture in large numbers there is always conflict. For example, Kashmir and Indian in general, the Balkans, Nigeria, Sudan, Israel, Chechnya, Indonesia, The Philippines, Thailand. Now we are starting to see the same thing in Europe. Am I being paranoid or is there something there?
These Norwegians are just fools.
The purposes of mohammedanism are:-
Ingratiation into the local community
Subordination of local practices and habits
Lamentation at being "discriminated against"
Appropriation of local places,and then
Murdering those who oppose them.
all of which gices us islam.
This has happened here in Britain,we look to our biggest and bestest friend the USA to stop it,because who else is there?.
