"Why did the Americans slaughter their citizens and the citizens of America's allies [so] horrifyingly and terribly…? [Why] do they construct ridiculous scenery and attribute the slaughter of the hostages to Muslims when their ugly and repulsive faces are exposed as a result of the crimes they committed and the massacre of innocent civilians and the barbaric tortures of the detainees and captives?

Forgive us for our skepticism, but experience has taught us when a Muslim purports to be providing truth, he is usually telling a lie. Your espoused “truth” is no different.
One thing I always ask for is evidence. If you can provide a preponderance of evidence to prove your case, then I will generally believe you in the absence of any conflicting evidence. This is similar to how a court of law works in most western countries, if that process mystifies you or our other Muslim friends used to a more summary --and final-- form of justice.
So I followed the link, and I figured I’d give your “truth” a shot.

In the very first paragraph Kaminski hits us with perhaps the most implausible conspiracy I’ve ever heard, connecting Israeli intelligence with the House of Saud in a scheme to commit the famous beheading of Berg, Sun-il, and Johnson in order to make al Qaeda look bad.
Pardon me if I salivate over these nuggets for a moment.
Saudis, being a brutal Sunni dictatorship that supports the extremist Wahabi sect that spawned al Qaeda, would somehow turn on al Qaeda, the very group carrying out their wishes? To what end? Saudi Arabia wants Iraqi democracy to fail. Why would they behead these men, knowing it would only deepen the resolve of the Iraqi Interim Council and hurt their own cause?

Unimpeded, a portion of these youths will head off for Iraq, Afghanistan, Chechnia or the other contemporary combat-zones to become “holy warriors”; but some, garnering their organization, training, propaganda, munitions, and coded orders via the internet and mobile-telephony, will instigate their deranged mayhem wherever they are and wherever they can.
Naturally, this includes inciting local “intefadas” in the West and in associated nations, together with opening up further syndicates in them for the el-Qaeda confederacy (which is always keen to procure weapons of mass destruction, chemical, biological, radiological or nuclear, to trigger in Western cities, if there’s the slightest opportunity for it to do so).
Smiting Mecca & Medina PREMATURELY - before the right millisecond - may not to do much to magnify the anti-Western animosity among the Arabs and Moslems, because it’s already at an astronomical pitch. To AVERT this ugly scenario, wouldn’t it be better to carry out a “demonstration”* someplace first, conveying the message to Islamo-fascists everywhere that, from now on, the West won’t be drawn into their foul casbahs to kill them, but kill them IT WILL, unless they surrender at once?
With nothing to lose by it, it’s a tough Ultimatum: no more Mr Niceguy, the gloves are off, it’s Total War, to the death (as the totalitarian enemy themselves have repeatedly decreed it to be) - entailing THEIR death, if things must be so, not the West’s.
It’d be totally explicit in the “demonstration” that if the Islamo-fascists don’t finally quit their bad behaviour and give up their mad aggression, forthwith, along with all their negative habits of mind, structure, custom and the milieu, et al, which support its existence, without delay, then it’s fully guaranteed that Mecca and Medina won’t be spared.
Morally, this way, at least the West’s humanely extending every chance, to the bitter end, for its antagonists to change their views and to live. Should the militant Islamists rebuff the offer, the guilt for the tragic toll in the ensuing conflagrations weighs upon THEM, not on the West.

While this might be splitting hairs, the NEA should be shutdown, not because it subsidizes unpopular or controversial art, but because it provides government subsidies for private expression of individual talents for monetary gain. For this same reason, I am against taxpayer-funded professional sports stadiums.
Let the product (art and athletic teams in this case) stand upon its own merits. It is a matter of equilibrium. Quality art will always find a sponsor. Let it be a private sponsor, as it has for centuries past. Too look at it another way, only bad art needs subsidies.
As for HGII’s argument… well I think he’s right about not playing your strongest hand first, and using a suitable escalation of force. It makes perfect sense in many strategic regards, though I have a hard time condoning hitting a primarily civilian target for any reason, even as a psychological strike, and especially with nuclear weapons.
Time and events may change that perception, but right now, I don’t see a need for a nuclear response.
