One wants reason to prevail, however why aren't moderate muslims speaking out. I know now that it's guilt and fear, and I don't blame them. You have to read the catalogue of events in this brief piece.

Then, ask yourself how anyone can take the position that all we have to do is bring our troops home from Iraq, sit back, re-set the snooze alarm, go back to sleep, and no one will ever bother us again.

In case you missed it, World War III began in November 1979... that alarm has been ringing for years.

AMERICA NEEDS TO WAKE UP!

That's what we think we heard on the 11th of September 2001 (When more than 3,000 Americans were killed -AD) and maybe it was, but I think it should have been "Get Out of Bed!" In fact, I think the alarm clock has been buzzing since 1979 and we have continued to hit the snooze button and roll over for a few more minutes of peaceful sleep since then.

It was a cool fall day in November 1979 in a country going through a religious and political upheaval when a group of Iranian students attacked and seized the American Embassy in Tehran. This seizure was an outright attack on American soil; it was an attack that held the world's most powerful country hostage and paralyzed a Presidency. The attack on this sovereign U. S. embassy set the stage for events to follow for the next 23 years.

America was still reeling from the aftermath of the Vietnam experience and had a serious threat from the Soviet Union when then, President Carter, had to do something. He chose to conduct a clandestine raid in the desert.

The ill-fated mission ended in ruin, but stood as a symbol of America's inability to deal with terrorism.

America's military had been decimated and downsized/right sized since the end of the Vietnam War. A poorly trained, poorly equipped and poorly organized military was called on to execute a complex mission that was doomed from the start.

Shortly after the Tehran experience, Americans began to be kidnapped and killed throughout the Middle East. America could do little to protect her citizens living and working abroad. The attacks against US soil continued.

In April of 1983 a large vehicle packed with high explosives was driven into the US Embassy compound in Beirut. When it explodes, it kills 63 people. The alarm went off again and America hit the Snooze Button once more.

Then just six short months later a large truck heavily laden down with over 2500 pounds of TNT smashed through the main gate of the US Marine Corps headquarters in Beirut and 241 US servicemen are killed. America mourns her dead and hit the Snooze Button once more.

Two months later in December 1983, another truck loaded with explosives is driven into the US Embassy in Kuwait, and America continues her slumber.

The following year, in September 1984, another van was driven into the gates of the US Embassy in Beirut and America slept.

Soon the terrorism spreads to Europe. In April 1985 a bomb explodes in a restaurant frequented by US soldiers in Madrid.

Then in August a Volkswagen loaded with explosives is driven into the main gate of the US Air Force Base at Rhein-Main, 22 are killed and the snooze alarm is buzzing louder and louder as US interests are continually attacked.

Fifty-nine days later a cruise ship, the Achille Lauro is hijacked and we watched as an American in a wheelchair is singled out of the passenger list and executed.

The terrorists then shift their tactics to bombing civilian airliners when they bomb TWA Flight 840 in April of 1986 that killed 4 and the most tragic bombing, Pan Am Flight 103 over Lockerbie, Scotland in 1988, killing 259.

Clinton treated these terrorist acts as crimes; in fact we are still trying to bring these people to trial. These are acts of war.

The wake up alarm is getting louder and louder. The terrorists decide to bring the fight to America. In January 1993, two CIA agents are shot and killed as they enter CIA headquarters in Langley, Virginia.

The following month, February 1993, a group of terrorists are arrested after a rented van packed with explosives is driven into the underground parking garage of the World Trade Center in New York City. Six people are killed and over 1000 are injured. Still this is a crime and not an act of war?

The Snooze alarm is depressed again.

Then in November 1995 a car bomb explodes at a US military complex in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia killing seven service men and women.

A few months later in June of 1996, another truck bomb explodes only 35 yards from the US military compound in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia. It destroys the Khobar Towers, a US Air Force barracks, killing 19 and injuring over 500. The terrorists are getting braver and smarter as they see that America does not respond decisively.

They move to coordinate their attacks in a simultaneous attack on two US embassies in Kenya and Tanzania. These attacks were planned with precision. They kill 224. America responds with cruise missile attacks and goes back to sleep.

The USS Cole was docked in the port of Aden, Yemen for refueling on 12 October 2000, when a small craft pulled along side the ship and exploded killing 17 US Navy Sailors. Attacking a US War Ship is an act of war, but we sent the FBI to investigate the crime and went back to sleep.

And of course you know the events of 11 September 2001. Most Americans think this was the first attack against US soil or in America. How wrong they are.

America has been under a constant attack since 1979 and we chose to hit the snooze alarm and roll over and go back to sleep.

In the news lately we have seen lots of finger pointing from every high officials in government over what they knew and what they didn't know. But if you've read the papers and paid a little attention I think you can see exactly what they knew. You don't have to be in the FBI or CIA or on the National Security Council to see the pattern that has been developing since 1979.

The President is right on when he says we are engaged in a war. I think we have been in a war for the past 23 years and it will continue until we as a people decide enough is enough.

America needs to "Get out of Bed" and act decisively now. America has been changed forever. We have to be ready to pay the price and make the sacrifice to ensure our way of life continues. We cannot afford to keep hitting the snooze button again and again and roll over and go back to sleep.

After the attack on Pearl Harbor, Admiral Yamamoto said "...it seems all we have done is awakened a sleeping giant." This is the message we need to disseminate to terrorists around the world.

Support Our Troops and support President Bush for having the courage, political or militarily, to address what so many who preceded him didn't have the backbone to do both Democrat and Republican. This is not a political thing to be hashed over in an election year this is an AMERICAN thing. This is about our Freedom and the Freedom of our children in years to come.

Please forward this to as many people as you can especially to the young people and all those who dozed off in history class and who seem so quick to protest such a necessary military action.

I am perfectly willing to debate you on Christianity vs. Islam. I haven't done any name calling. It was you who started out by saying we(Christians) should be killed. I pointed out your evil speech condemns you. If you are a convert to Islam or have found a new appreciation for your faith why are you so angry? You should show God's love working through you. During the first three centuries of Christianity our religion spread throughout Europe, Middle East and the Arabian peninsula without any weapons or intimidation. Thousands of Christians were martyred for their faith by the Romans which only brought more people to the faith.

Can you answer as to why the first three centuries of Islam it's faith was spread through the Arabian peninsula and southern Europe through violence and intimidation. Jesus rode through Jerusalem on a humble donkey while Mohammad conqured the Arabian peninsula with a sword.

Finally while faith is the most important ingrediant to any religion Christianity has had the great Apologetic writers explaining our faith through reason. The three following men, St Augustine, St Thomas Acquinas and CS Lewis are recognized by scholars the world over, even by Atheists, for their reason. There are whole sections of relgious bookstores on men like these and other Christian Apologetic writers. Where are the Muslim Apologetic writers and what are their great works?

Chem Bomb Plot Flashback: Kay Warned Iraq's WMDs in Syria
Just two months before al-Qaida terrorists were caught by Jordanian police transporting chemical bombs across the Jordanian-Syrian border, U.S. weapons inspector David Kay identified Syria as a likely hiding place for Iraq's weapons of mass destruction.
"We know from some of the interrogations of former Iraqi officials that a lot of material went to Syria before the war, including some components of Saddam's WMD programs," Kay told the London Telegraph.
Three weeks before Kay's comments to the London paper, the Dutch newspaper De Telegraaf published a report from Syrian journalist Nizar Nayuf claiming that the transfer of Iraqi WMD to Syria was organized by commanders of Saddam Hussein's Special Republican Guard.
The report included a letter to Nayuf from an Iraqi source detailing the WMD transfers.
The Iraqi source claimed:
"We received confirmations that the Iraqi weapons, which were moved to Syria by the help of General Zoul-Himla Chalich are now hidden in three places inside Syria:
"First place: a tunnel dug in the mountain close to the Al-Baïdah village, which is roughly two kilometers from Misyaf village. This place is under the 489 Safety cipher Documents' office control.
"Second place: the factory of the Air Armed Forces in the village of Tal Sinan, between the town of Hama and Salamiyyah. This factory is under the Air Force control.
"Third place: the location of Shinsar, 40 kilometers south of Homs, two kilometers east of the Homs - Damascus road.
"There are underground tunnels there, controlled by Brigade 661 of the armed air Forces. It is a Brigade of air Patrol. The tunnels are several tens of meters deep. The weapons were transported in large wooden cases and barrels, under the supervision of the General Zoul-Himla Chalich and the son of his brother Assef, who works at Al-Bachaer company.
"The company is owned by the Assad family and has offices in Beirut, Damascus and Baghdad. This company also undertook the illegal Iraqi oil importation in Syria, and supplied weapons to Saddam."

U.S. Army troops operating at a former Iraqi air base recently made a startling discovery: Russian made missiles marked with radioactive warning signs.
Army bomb disposal troops confirmed using Geiger counters that the missiles are indeed radioactive.
The discovery is not, however, considered the long sought after "smoking gun" of Iraqi weapons of mass destruction.
The missiles appear to be part of a cache of weapons supplied to Iraq before the 1991 Gulf war.
The Russian made R-60, NATO code name AA-8 Aphid, air-to-air missiles are part of a huge stockpile of former Iraqi Air Force munitions uncovered in over a dozen concrete bunkers.

Confessions of Al-Qaida Suspects Who Allegedly Planned Attacks Aired

AMMAN, Jordan - Al-Qaida plotted bomb and poison gas attacks against the U.S. Embassy and other targets in Jordan, suspects confessed in a videotape that aired Monday on Jordanian state television. A commentator said the plotters hoped to kill 80,000 people.
One of the alleged conspirators, Azmi al-Jayousi, said he was acting on the orders of Abu-Musab al-Zarqawi, a Jordanian wanted by the United States for allegedly organizing terrorists to fight U.S. troops in Iraq on behalf of al-Qaida. U.S. officials have offered a $10 million reward for his capture.
Al-Jayousi, identified as the head of a Jordanian terror cell, said he met al-Zarqawi in neighboring Iraq to plan the attacks.
The 20-minute taped program contained what were described as confessions by the suspects, who were arrested a month ago. Officials said four terror suspects believed linked to the conspiracy died in a shootout with police in Amman last week.

BAGHDAD, Iraq (AP) - A roadside bomb containing sarin nerve agent exploded near a U.S. military convoy, the U.S. military said Monday. Two people were treated for ``minor exposure,'' but no serious injuries were reported.
``The Iraqi Survey Group confirmed today that a 155-millimeter artillery round containing sarin nerve agent had been found,'' said Brig. Gen. Mark Kimmitt, the chief military spokesman in Iraq. ``The round had been rigged as an IED (improvised explosive device) which was discovered by a U.S. force convoy.
``A detonation occurred before the IED could be rendered inoperable. This produced a very small dispersal of agent,'' he said.
The Iraqi Survey Group is a U.S. organization whose task was to search for weapons of mass destruction after the ouster of Saddam Hussein in last year's invasion.
``The round was an old binary-type requiring the mixing of two chemical components in separate sections of the cell before the deadly agent is produced,'' Kimmitt said. ``The cell is designed to work after being fired from an artillery piece.''
He said the dispersal of the nerve agent from a device such as the homemade bomb is ``limited.''
``The former regime had declared all such rounds destroyed before the 1991 Gulf War,'' Kimmitt said. ``Two explosive ordinance team members were treated for minor exposure to nerve agent as a result of the partial detonation of the round.''
In 1995, Japan's Aum Shinrikyo cult unleashed sarin gas in Tokyo's subways, killing 12 people and sickening thousands. In February of this year, Japanese courts convicted the cult's former leader, Shoko Asahara, and sentence him to be executed.

Well, I just read that Paul Johnson *might* have been beheaded. I say, for every innocent hostage they kill, let's kill 50 of their inmates that they want released and destroy one of their mosques.

These bastards must pay for what they have done. I have served over in the Middle East and Iraq. I once had sympathy for them. I have it no longer. I feel they should all be punished severely and the prisoner abuse is justified. Most of the American civilians over there are working to help rebuild the area. Those cowards do not realize that though. They go after the innocents because they do not have the balls to face our military might. As a former soldier I say we must bring them to their knees. This is what will make me reenlist. God Bless America and have mercy upon my soul for the hatred I feel towards these cowards and the Muslims there.

Here's the reality. One of the demands that the hostages asked for was for ALL Americans to leave the entire Arabian Peninsula within 72 hours. Now anyone who’s NOT a complete moronic idiot, and has a middle school education knows that even if we did comply to the terrorists demands understands that it is completely impossible to evacuate ALL Americans from the entire Arabian Peninsula in 72 hours. So, putting the basic math out on the table suggests that the terrorists were never going to release Paul Johnson in the first place. He was already scheduled to die to make another example.

These are the types of people we are dealing with. Little crying children who never learned to be real men. And all they have to show for it is peddling hostages because they’re weak. And they know it. They know very well that the only reason we have not flattened their god forsaken land is because we respect the International Community. The International Community has also become weak because many country’s believe to this day that peace and resolve can come through diplomatic talks. I have nothing against the Muslim culture or the peaceful people within just as I have nothing against peaceful loving Jews, Christians, Buddhist Monks etc. But do the math people! We have long supported repressive governments. These people have found out that oil = wealth, and the reason that they are riding around (still) on "half-starved camels" is that their governments do not share the wealth or land with their people just like in a lot of countries even in our own hemisphere (Mexico ring a bell..?). There is no private ownership of land, no sharing of the country's natural resources which produce the "wealth", therefore, no chance = no direction = no hope = nothing to lose. Our Middle East policy has been a succession of 'hand-me-down' policies since its inception, a type of 'deal with it later' attitude. Well, Later is NOW! My only point in reference to Deathpasser was to shed some light on how repressed peoples, whether physical repression or mental repression (and they are different) bring people to do what they do and ultimately justify what they justify. Many people who profess to believe in Jesus are more than eager to go off and kill the infidel. The church of the middle ages that ordered the crusades are a prime example as are the people who gladly went off to fight the crusades and find glory in God's crusade. The Qur'an ("Qor-Ann") is a Message from Allah to humanity. It was transmitted to us in a chain starting from the Almighty Himself (swt) to the angel Gabriel to the Prophet Muhammad (saas). This message was given to the Prophet (saas) in pieces over a period spanning approximately 23 years (610 CE to 622 CE). It was believed that during this period Muhammad suffered delusions after Satur, the Satan conquered the mind of the syphillitic Bedouin (Muhammad). The "Prophet" (saas) was 40 years old when the Qur'an began to be revealed to him, and he was 63 when the revelation was completed. The period was marked by conquests and mass murder of the so called "Infidels" or non believers. It was believed that between 95,000 and 135,000 lives was lost. The language of the original message was Arabic, but it has been translated into many other languages.

The Qur'an is one leg of two which form the basis of Islam. The second leg is the Sunnah of the Prophet (saas). What makes the Qur'an different from the Sunnah is primarily its form. Unlike the Sunnah, the Qur'an is quite literally the Word of Allah, whereas the Sunnah was inspired by Allah but the wording and actions are the Prophet's. Diluted words, misleading words all aimed at controlling large masses of uneducated ignorants. It is said that the Qur'an has not been expressed using any human's words. Its wording is letter for letter fixed by no one but Allah. Usamah Bin Ladin still follows the Qur'an that tells its followers to terrorize its enemies.

Prophet Muhammad (saas) was the final Messenger of Allah to humanity, and therefore the Qur'an is the last Message which Allah has sent to us. This, of course is an enormous lie. Followers of this so called "religion" says that its predecessors such as the Torah, Psalms, and Gospels have all been superceded. To say that all of the books of Judah and Jesus Christ has been superceded is a lie that can only be perpetuated by the Satan himself and Muhammad believed it. Allah has guaranteed that He will protect the Qur'an from human tampering, and today's readers can find exact copies of it all over the world. Instead of service we spend our lives in a frivilous pursuit of "reality" TV, video games, designer labels, material possessions, and pornograpy.
While one man has 5 homes another man has none. While you eat prime rib somewhere someone else goes hungry. The one real thing God asks of us is to take care of one another. To love one another. That is love the action verb not love the feeling. The action verb requires that you do the things that express love. And unbelievably the more you do love the action verb the more you feel love the feeling.

well im only 16yrs old going on 17 and I have been on top of both stories with Nick Berg and Paul Johnson and I can not believe we are sitting back and you would think after it happened once Pres. Bush would do everything in his power not to let it happen again, but why are we over there trying to help those who most of them don't want to be helped? I mean is it all because we're the great all Americans who follow all the rules and yet our guys who did some horrible things to their people are getting in BIG trouble for what they did to their peolpe? Now to me that is WRONG!!! We two are angry, hurt, and the people of America are mourning and yet are family and friends are over there trying to make it a better place and being captured and killed and if thats not bad enough it's going public to everyone in the U.S. When is this goin to STOP!!! How many innocent Americans are goin to have to be murdered and not just any kind of murder, but making their slaying publicly wide? I don't know, but hopefully this war on terrorism will end sometime in my lifetime and that way my kids and my kids, kids will not have to live in a world like this. Everyday there's something new. When is this ever going to stop???
