I am writing this from far away from Secure Undisclosed Locationville -- so far away, in fact, that since Friday I have been unable to connect to the Internet. Hence the lack of updates. Also I now have such a backlog of work that there may not be many updates right away. My apologies. Jihad Watch will be back, better than ever, absolutely as soon as possible.
But I am pleased to announce that the comments system seems to be up and running. I am sure there are still a few bugs in the system, so I ask your patience. We will be working them out over the next few days. Just for fun, even though this is old news now, I am reopening the comments on the last few days of postings. So if you see something you would like to say something about -- here or at Dhimmi Watch -- have at it. I am opening the top posts on the main pages now.

the situation seems to be more serious than it looks - I've watched your site from time to time - but disabling of comments was the first schock to see on Jihad Watch - hope that those (so called) M****m/ Jihadist are not making it worse since (MOST IMPORTANT) through the comments your site got an EXTRA value of information (some user posted extra links) - I hope with the registration this can run until it needs to run :) - other sites get even worse defamation through user accounts which are not recognizable from the FIRST view - so anyhow WE ALL have to be careful to unhide such people (it aint easy - and I'm not paranoid - IT ALL happens!)

1) We at www.NoJihad.com have collected ALL of Hugh's past postings and are putting them up on the
site (with Hugh's blessings) along with a continually refined word index, to create an 'Internet

2) We are issuing an open invitation to anyone who wants to contribute to our site by writing cogent
essays or doing a bloggish thing (like I do). No need to be a scholar (after all there is only
one Hugh), just well-read. Email me at questioningIslam@yahoo.com.
3) We are trying to put together a letter to be sent ON A SPECIFIC DAY, say, after the election, to the President
and Vice President, along with the appropriate local congress-people stating the facts about Islam,
our concerns about current policy and specific actions that we would like to be taken. IF 10,000
OR 100,000 OR 1,000,000 PEOPLE SENT EMAILS, our concerns cannot be ignored. It is one thing to
preach to the converted, quite another to convert others to action. We should keep doing this until
the government responds. Any suggestions can be sent to the above email address.

Thank god you're back on , I've realised now that JihadWatch would be sorely missed, I've been surfing loads of likeminded websites, but non even come close to the quality of yours Robert.I'd have been commenting my nuts off yesterday if I'd have known you were back on line, I didn't even get near a computer yesterday I've been drowning my sorrows with booze and loud music.
