A new story on the courageous American Muslim Asra Nomani, who is fighting for equality of dignity for women in a West Virginia mosque. She entered through the front door; they want to banish her altogether. Bull Connor couldn't have done it better. From the BBC, with thanks to Fanabba:
Indian Muslim Asra Nomani has found herself on the frontline of a battle for women's rights in Islam in the United States.She entered the local mosque through the front door and dared to pray alongside men, an act that has triggered heated discussions among America's Muslim community.
An all-male "tribunal" of the mosque in Morgantown, West Virginia, wants to banish Ms Nomani because they think she is a frequent trouble-maker.
In their campaign to silence her, she has been depicted as heretical, misguided and westernized, someone in need of reform.
Who really needs reform here?
I really don't understand this woman??!! Why oh why she's fighting a futile war? I presume she's smart enough to learn and understand the true nature of Islam. It never been fair to women. Why can just she changed her religion. It's not like she's living in the middle east or something.
Pathetic isn't it? Even if she won, she would just be able to go through the front door, which is what christian women have been able to do for centuries, since christianity began.

I can't believe how many times Muslims shoot themselves in the foot while trying to promote Islam as a actual religion of Peace and Tolerance.
I posted a story about CAIR using a Canadian Mosque to draw attention to the plight of Muslims in the West. I did leave out a fact that wasn't relavent to that earlier story ,but now it is valuable for a reference. Seems that CAIR Canada(www.caircan.ca) hijacked the story on a vandalism act to a Mosque in Pickering Ontario Canada but didn't take the time(or notice)to filter out the misogeny. The Mosque had a small awning damaged by fire and an alledged spraying of a wall with the phrase "Jesus rules". Local and National news papers ran the story which claimed the "woman's enterance" was fire bombed.
The story we get from Imam's is that Islam respects females and grants them a separate prayer area and enterance as part of the Quran's
teachings to protect women from oglers or
leering.
The reason I haven't been in a Mosque or Sikh temple is becasue I won't bow down to the idolatry by being forced to either remove my shoes,sit on the floor,accept gender segragation,cover my head with a symbolic Turban,listen to my Lord being mocked,and the big one is willfully trivializing a faith by acting out rituals and agreeing to wear costumes as part of appearing to legitimize a man made belief.

Seems that Muslim leaders can't wait for arrests to be made in vandalism or alledged anti-Muslim crimes.This story shows how Jews are nearly always use by Muslims to help in their "Victim envy" crusade.Muslims now outnumber Jews in Canada and yet they still want minority status
to be imune from our hate-laws.
When antisemitic actions happen by Muslims the issue of Palestine is dragged into the debate for justification of free-speech to bash the Jews.
It's really wearing thin and I wouldn't be surprised if some of the alleged attacks on Islam are hoaxes purpetrated by Muslims to further their cause.
In one case where the "woman's" entry to a Mosque was damaged,radical Christians were blamed
for it even though no arrests were made noe have there been to date,a wall had a message "Jesus Rules" on it.
A real bigot would have attacked Islam or Muhammed,not risked a chance of arrest by praising Jesus. I'm really get sick of these charades and Jew-Bashing is becoming a choice for Muslims to engage in "Recreational-Bigotry" .
