Be Sure to THANK - U.S. Sen. Norm Coleman -- Sen. Coleman (R-MN) spoke to the 'Free Iran' rally in front of the U.S. Congress on July 8-9th. Sen. Coleman has proven himself in the past year, to be one of the best new lawmakers on the issue of Iran. All you from Minnesota should be proud!! But no matter where you are from, take a minute to drop the Senator's office an email thanking him and his staff for their good work. This means a lot for members to get feedback and it can help the Senator to know how many people are watching and supporting his efforts.

Of course a full-scale attack on the nuclear capabilities of Iran is essential , but we are going to have months and months of exactly the same arguments we had before the Iraq war. The UN will turn their noses up, we'll have brainless protesters from L.A to London holding up "STOP BUSH" flyers, the PC pussy-ass media will stick it's big interfering nose in, and there will be another dossier , which will be "sexed UP" again. It needs dealing with now, not in a years time but to the millions of people against the Iraq war it's just going to be seen as american 21st century war 3. Screw a public vote just get in there and take down those mullah muthafuckas, preferably before that push-over piss-ant John Kerry gets in.
Pssst Kc: Wonder if Tony Blair'll back up the states this time, remember he's going to need all the votes he can get now , and with an ever growing "british" muslim community here he'll certainly be kissing Allah's stinking ass!!!

The Israelis will take care of it if we don't. I'm even betting that they'll beat us to the punch.
Once again, I just don’t see the urgency to start another war, being that our boys could use a break and they need to come home for a while. Here’s possible answer to the Iran (or any other nation) confrontation that I think could have helped out in the Iraq war? Now just think about it and give me good constructive feedback before you start calling a loonie liberal or a PC pussie.
Bush jumped into this war and was shown to have bad judgment on the information he took to heart. He started a pre-emptive war that has the whole world on edge. Here’s what I propose, and give me feedback on if you think of this would or would not work. NOT how you FEEL about somebody not wanting to just naturally jump into another war.
Start with inspectors and then send in the media! And I mean all of it! ABC, CBS, BBC, French, German, The new Iraq crack reporting news crew, the enquirer. I mean every dam bit you can fine. You know they will want to go no matter what the danger is. What dose this do? It will show the world the atrocities that are happening and the type of oppression that those people are going through. Hell it may even expose some sort of war plot by Iran. This gives the U.S. support of the world in another pre-emptive war. Don’t ever estimate having support form other nations. Hell we may have other nations helping us out on this one.
Pauly
”Once again, I just don’t see the urgency to start another war...”
Perhaps you'd prefer to let the Mullahs finish their nukes first? They’ve already said that as soon as they have one ready, it’s on an express rout to Tel Aviv. Let me say that loud and clear: They want to start a nuclear war.
That is why the Iranian people want these guys out. They’ll get millions of their own people killed in a nuclear exchange, just to kill a few Jews.
Pauly, we will be fair to you, but you really need to do your homework. You seem honest enough, and simply looking for answers, but you are, well... gullible.
Inspectors were kicked out by Iran and North Korea, not that they have been effective anywhere else. You’d think a decade of failure in Iraq would have taught you that.
You also suggest sending in the media.
One, they would not allow it. You do know that First Amendment freedoms apply only in America right? If reporters tell the truth in Iran, they disappear, and are found hacked up, if ever found at all.
Two, are you completely unaware of the example of "an unbiased" media with CNN's involvement in Iraq? They made a deal with Saddam not to cover the atrocities and torture that they saw, if Saddam would grant them access to other stories. Other news organizations will not send reports into the field, instead relying on biased “stringers” to write stories that are slanted or outright false. These stories are then given to “reporters” that have never left the hotel, who pass the “news” articles along as their own with minor edits, and no fact-checking. And these are just from American news organizations! Others are far, far worse.
Besides, we already know the kinds of attrocities committed in Iran. Iranians splatter it all over the Internet, for goodness sake. We know of their oppression. The Iranian people ask for our intervention. What else do you want?
"Don’t ever estimate having support form other nations. Hell we may have other nations helping us out on this one."
Would these do?
Great Britain, Portugal, Denmark, Netherlands, Iceland, Italy, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Albania, Macedonia, Romania, Bulgaria, Croatia, Slovenia, Ukraine, Japan, South Korea, Singapore, Afghanistan, Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan, Georgia, Marshall Islands, Micronesia, Soloman Islands, Palau, Tonga, El Salvador, Columbia, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Domincan Republic, Honduras, Australia, Kuwait, Eritria, Ehtipia, Uganda, Rwanda and Angola.
Those are the nations currently in Iraq with us.
Just so you know, the "Coalition of the Willing" for the invasion and occupation of Iraq is larger than the group of nations amassed for the first Gulf War. We've got the support of everyone that matters, except maybe the major American media and Hollywood.
You seem like a nice guy Pauly, but you clearly need a better way to find out about things outside of Denver.
I wated as long as I could but I'm heading out for an official meeting in vages! Whish me luck. have a good weekend all. I look forward to Monday and reading you responses.
have a good weekend all!
Pauly
*sighs* Bob, that's the thing. The US public needs waking up (Canadian public needs it even More!). *chuckles* At least some of them are coming here to find out. And you laid out the facts quite nicely, things most people are unaware of thanks to both the media and liberal politicians.
I am going to miss reading here for nearly 3 weeks. =/ But I ain't gone yet, got until Wednesday morning.
Sorry I missed you post Bob.
The inspectors were kicked out, yes. But if Bush were to say that we would do to you what we did to Iraq unless you let them in, they may change their minds.
Funny that you see the media as liberal. My friends see it as conservative. Didn’t the media sit on the story of the prison torture story for a week just to give the military time to plan?
I thought I came up with a good possible alternative to at least give our boys a rest and you dismiss it as gullible. Thanks a lot bob. Have you wondered why they are keeping the solders in an extended term? Because people are tired of fighting. I proposed a possible rest. Gullible, maybe. Kind, defiantly!
Have a good weekend all.
Pauly
'Kind, defiantly'
*lol*
I Know you didn't mean to spell it that way, but I like the sounds of it. 'Defiant Kindness.' We defy their view of the world, and treat them as kindly as we can. And I do mean that. Until they push us over the line.
Bob, our troops could use a rest. However my father was in WW II and I can understand that rest is unlikely (4 years overseas!) until something major happens/is accomplished. Even if the something major is just stop-gap for this decade.
"The inspectors were kicked out, yes. But if Bush were to say that we would do to you what we did to Iraq unless you let them in, they may change their minds."
He has. repeatedly. For three years. In several languages. They do not care. Just like the Taliban and "Baghdad Bob" before them, they think they are unbeatable on their home turf.
"Funny that you see the media as liberal. My friends see it as conservative. Didn’t the media sit on the story of the prison torture story for a week just to give the military time to plan?"
It sounds like your friends are to the left of Al Franken. If nothing else, they are woefully short on facts. Ask them to see how the media ranks themselves. they overwhelmingly are liberal, and they'll tell you that. Start at
http://people-press.org/reports/display.php3?PageID=829 where they have to poll results of a survey of members of the media. Only 7% are conservative. Then try
http://www.mediaresearch.org/ and http://www.honestreporting.com/ to see examples.
Your friends are, quite franken-ly, on crack.
Pauly, the media had the Abu Graib story months previously. You know how they got it? The Pentagon gave them the information. You heard it, the US Armed forces broke the story back in January. Look it up. The media didn't think it was worthwhile till the juicy pictures of Lindy England arrived to make it "sell" papers and airtime better.
This same media that gave weeks of coverage to "torture" that consisted largely of being naked and laughed at, while not reporting any of the good news coming out of Iraq, which is overwhelming in sheer numbers of stories.
Tell me, when is tha least time you heard about how our Marines are using their own meager pay to buy shoes for Iraqi kids? Or to set up a television station for the Iraqi people? When was the last time you heard of the vast majority of Iraqi people that are so thankful for us being there? These stories don't appear in the NY Times or Denver Post, do they? No, you'll only find death and doom. "If it bleeds, it leads," has long been the call of the media. They want to sell advertising, Pauly. Don't you ever think big media is about the truth. It's business. And blood sells more copy than smiles. Never forget that.
This is the same media that castigated Paul Bremer, former head of the CPA for "bolting" Iraq as soon as he could without saying a word, while they missed, completely, a national televised speech he made to the Iraqi people that brought tears to the eyes of grown men. Perhaps the media forgot to tell you that many Iraqis regard Bremer as a national hero, not a conqueror. But you haven't heard that, becuase it doesn't involve our soliders or civilians dying, or hatred of America from a handful of radicals.
We currently maintain a kill-ratio of over 152-1, to my knowledge the highest kill-ratio of any war in human history. And yet the media, seeing that we've lost only about as many soldiers total in both Iraq and Afghanistan in over two years, as a minor daily WW2 battle that you've never heard of, makes it sound like we are losing. You call that balanced and fair reporting?
"I thought I came up with a good possible alternative to at least give our boys a rest and you dismiss it as gullible."
Did you even read what I wrote?
The Mullahcracy that runs Iran seeks a nuclear war.
Time is of the essence. If they succeed in completing their goal, several million innocent people will die, both Muslim and Jew. And you want a break? Funny, I don't recall asking Hitler for a timeout after the Battle of the Bulge. Instead, we rolled over his forces even while we were weak, captured entire divisions, leading to a war that ended in VE-Day in Europe happening in 1944 instead of 1946. Ultimately, it saved hundreds of thousands of lives, if not millions, on both sides.
You seem to forget that if you give our troops time to rest, you give them time to prepare, making it that much more difficult to root them out. Every day you wait, they get more entrenched, meaning more soldiers on both sides will die needlessly. This has been born out throughout military history, from the dawn of time untli now. Press on, and the enemy crumbles. Give him time to reinforce his position, and you are in for a world of hurt, and more will die on both sides.
Your heart is is the right place, but your head isn't. Learn what is going on. Read history. Find independent news sources.
The truth is our there, but you can't count on it being handed to you.
Start by reading an Iraqi civilian's blog.

Oops, actually the shared blog of 3 brothers, 1 doctor, 2 dentists.
Would this be the same deal we have made with Iran for the last 40yrs look the other way while they kill Americans and pay others to do it if they can't? I say lets finish the Job while we are there. Why wait untill it is to late? seams we have done that with the Iraqi problem and while we waited saddam killed 300,000 Iraqis and seams to have spread this jihad B.S. around the world to the point that the world is a bunch of [French] or cheeze eating srender monkeys!!! Well I say Fight for Short Skirts and Beer!!! Are we to wait untill it is to late because Israel will nuke every oilfield in the whole middle east if Iran sends one their way? And we know that they are not real smart!

You little silly boy you had better be glad that they didn't rest in WW2 or you might not be here now what do you think the world would look like if we only had little sissy boys like you??

Iran is next on the list. Remove the Mafia Mullas from power and let the Iranians democratically elect a leader of their own choosing.
Pauly, don't bet on the American media when it comes to dealing with vicious dictators. Most American reporters have no command of any language other than English, and will take whatever crap their host country minders feed them. That was why China was such an oh-so-marvelous-finally-good-peaceloving-Communism sort of place until June 4, 1989, when the People's Liberation Army obligingly shot down its own people while the cameras were rolling in order to save the infallible bastion of scientific reason, the Communist Party of China. My guess is that the media that get sent into Iran will go all ga-ga over chadors and beards, and speak of the aesthetic pleasures of Ithna'ashariyya Shi'ite Islam.
Also, Bush didn't misjudge. The major media of the USA are never going to give a Republican administration an even break. They scream headlines about "No WMD found", and bury stories of Polish troops finding sarin gas or the USA bringing home a couple tons of radioactive material for examination. They don't tell you that the US casualty rate in Iraq ran about 2% of our Korean War casualty rate, or about Iraqi police starting to nab terrorists on their own. Indeed, 900 dead young Americans is roughly a typical weekend drunk-driving statistic. It seems to me that if our casualties have been so low in a country where everyone has an AK to shoot into the air whenever a marriage, birth, or home team soccer victory occurs, a lot of Iraqis are probably less enthusiastic about running us out than our own leftist media.
The mainstream media are also the people who long insisted that the late, unlamented Sheikh Yasin of Hamas was a "spiritual leader", instead of a hideous old hyena who encouraged ten-year-olds to strap on explosives belts to go on suicide missions.
Frankly, President Kerry will face the same sort of trouble from the Islamofascists--and will have the advantage of an opposition that would die before it would insult Americans in uniform, and will refuse to make a necessary war a matter of domestic political jockeying. I just hope that when 9/11 II happens on Kerry's watch, he will prove sterner stuff than what the men under his command back in Viet Nam say he was, or than his party is. My own guess is he'll fall back on the good old Democratic dodge of thinking you can charm the pants off of someone who's sworn to tear your guts out, and invite 9/11 III, 9/11 IV. 9/11 V...
Oh what mighty warriors are you Crusaders and Zionists! What brave verbal slayers of the evil Muslims and defenders of your pagan and false faiths! Truely the benighted and uncivilized mujahadeen against whom you hurl your mighty invective must tremble in fear.
Do you not understand just how pathetic your soft, degenerate society has become? You whine at great length about the unbearable stress that you undergo when you are forced to share an airliner with Arabs and Muslims. You recount the manner in which you hold each others' hands and burst into tears from the fear engendered by the presence of real men. One of you even brags about his expensive underwear and threatens to strip, remove his underpants, and wield them as a mighty weapon against the Muslim savages!
You have reached the end of your run. The entire world despises you and feels nothing but disdain for your manifest weakness and overweening cowardice.
By all means, please attack the peaceful and inoffensive country of Iran. See here what awaits you and your Zionist masters. Now slink away and torture some more innocent, helpless Muslim prisoners in your prisons and concentration camps.
I am sure that you will respond to this comment with your usual juvenile abuse and empty threats. Imagine how I will tremble in shame and fear at your hateful rants.
Your grandchildren will be Muslim.
Allahu akbar
I am really shocked at the number of Canadian posts. I was beginning to think that all Canadians were drug sniffing, socialist, hippies. There are some sane people in Canada? I'm shocked!
Speaking of pagan cults, have you kissed your Allah rock (Pigion Poo be upon it) in Mecca lately Reza? Ooops! I forgot, dirty muslim women aren't allowed to touch it.
You should go visit that pagan rock pile one last time while you can however, because soon it will be nothing but a gravel pile.
There is no need to strip to pull the high quality nylon cord from my underpants to wrap around the neck of a terrorist "(good muslim)"
Reza.
While you may think "the world" hates America, this statement shows how small your world really is if you consider a few backwards Islamic countries with illiterate, stupid people who worship a rock, and a couple less-than-honorable countries who took oil at the cost of thousands of lives, (france, germany) as "the world".
If you think a couple of naked prisoners being laughed at for their 'shortcommings" as torture, what do you call what goes on in Islamic prisons?
What did you call saddams plastic shredders, rape rooms, hanging his victims by their arms tied behind their backs, upside down and the bottoms of their feet beaten, and all the other wonderfull humane treatment of innocent people caught up in the brutality of Islam?
Don't even try compare the moraity of Islam with the morality of the free world, Reza.
Islam is far far more barbaric and backwards than anything else you can immagine on this earth.
Now run along, I hear your Imam calling you. He wants you to bend over for for him so he can give you another "lesson".
I am really shocked at the number of Canadian posts. I was beginning to think that all Canadians were drug sniffing, socialist, hippies. There are some sane people in Canada? I'm shocked!

No, those glue sniffing, socialist, Loony lefty unwashed liberals are the norm in Toronto and other cities in Ontario, but they don't represent the majority of Canadians, although they think they do.
As you go west in Canada you'll find people are more normal than what you find out east.
That's not to say there aren't any normal people in eastern Canada, there are, but they are outnumbered by the urban loons, and very high concentration of politicians, And separtist frenchmen of course.
Hi Reza
Just the person I wanted to talk to about Iran and the jolly Mullahs. Now I met a lady on a train recently who had a tale to tell about why she fled the country. This Iranian woman was savagely beaten because she wasn't wearing regulation tentlike garments! Do you consider this a crime, Reza and if so what is the punishment according to Sharia Law? I have this lady's name and telephone number so I'm sure she would be interested to know your views...
Reza talks like a SAUDI wahabbist.
I would like to know where Saudi Arabia stands in the "list."
All these American lives to strenghten the Saudi kingdom and help it in its jihad against america?
Saudi spent 200 billion dollars on defence contracts but when saddam invaded kuwait and appeared to prepare for the next stage, they had no soldiers left ot defend them. All the imported Pakistani troups had been sent home.
So they had to put with the disgust of american infidel troups on holy islamic soil to protect them. Troups who were not even allowed to celibrate christmas in their own compounds.
After 911 they openly supported OBL and clerics said he was the voice of wahhab himself.
why has the US ignored this continued attack by Saudi Arabis?
In this respect the US are no better than the french.
read dore gold's hatreds kingdom.
A few friends have come back from Iraq and we spent most of the day Sunday together. I got the information straight from them. So I guess I won’t be bothering you guys much anymore. But I will be back from time to time. To surmise what was said, you guys were right on a few points, but than again you guys were wrong on a few points. Just like the liberal side of the coin.
For the ones who were pleasant and gave me their time to INFORM, I thank you. I still plan on reading those books that you mentioned. Just out of idle curiosity. For the rest of you who just spouted off. Bite my ass!
Cahterine.
I did my time in the forces and at Dessert Storm. Did you? Have you ever killed a person in combat? Do you know what it combat stress feels like? And you call ME Sissy boy. Bite my ass you loud mouth bitch. If we ever meet I will berry my boot so far up you ass you will taste shoe leather.
Reza
If I ever post here again and ask another question of these people, do me a favor and don’t try to help me. You are beyond creepy. You’re like a KKK member trying to support a men’s rally. Help by not helping.
Bob
I started to think about what you said about me being gullible. Let me point out that the Liberal side of the Internet has just as much supporting data and statistics. Everything I was asking them they had a counter point. This is how I was trying to get answers to the questions out there on a limited time frame that I live by. I’m glad my friends are back and alive. Talking to them has been an eye opener and a mind bender. So be carefull the next time you tell somebody that they are gullible. The other side of the Internet comes across just as believable as you guys do. Except that they have a little less name-calling going on.
UK
What can I say, thank you! I will read those books but I’ll read them like how I will watch Mr. Moor’s films. I’ll be cautious as to what I take to heart until I get all the facts. When friends ask me about a ruling on a game I could tell them to go get a book, but I don’t. I’m a little like how you were with me. I’ll give them the information in an amount that they can digest. Thanks, you stirred my curiosity.
To the rest of you.
Good luck. It’s obvious that you all care about what’s going on. Your dedication is admirable. Fight the good fight and be open to new people with goofy questions. Not everybody is looking for a fight…some are looking for answers.
And remember, when a football official makes a call, sit back, relax, if you have a TV wait for the replay, ask a friend what EXACTLY the rules are…then yell what ever you want.
