FRANKFURT, Germany -- Police on Monday searched computer hard-drives and discs seized from a Moroccan mosque in Frankfurt looking for evidence of violent films, including a beheading, that a young girl said were shown to her and other children to try and incite hatred toward non-Muslims, authorities said. Some 120 officers raided the Taqwa Mosque's Islamic school on Sunday after the 9-year-old told her public school teacher she and other children were shown violent videos calling for a "holy war against unbelievers," Frankfurt prosecutor's spokeswoman Doris Mueller-Scheu said.
Mosque director Ahmed Ayaou called the raid an insult, and said he did not know who the girl was or what she was talking about.
"This was very surprising - it fell upon us like a blow," he said. "Our association accepts and respects German law. We are well known in Frankfurt, and we live with everyone peacefully."
He criticized police for coming in to the mosque with weapons and not taking their shoes off as they searched the building.
I wonder what he thinks when Al-Sadr's men in Iraq go into mosques with weapons.
If such videos are found, or weapons, or passports (as have been found in mosques in Italy), or if it is discovered that the imam of the mosque has been preaching hatred and violence toward non-Infidels, as has happened in mosques in a number of cities, in Italy, in France, in England, and elsewhere), what will be the reaction of authorities? Will it be to arrest the imam himself? To impose a fine? To issue a warning that such things should not be tolerated? Or will the mosque itself be closed down, permanently, as it should be? If the story proves to be true, if evidence that videos -- not violent videos in the Sylvester Stallone vein, but real beheadings, of real Infidels, and their murders proudly being captured on camera for the edification and delight of Muslims worldwide -- are shown (it hardly matters if children or adults are the audience) in order to whip up hatred of still-living Infidels, what conceivable reason can be given for keeping that "mosque" open? An absolute minimum of common sense and even of survival, requires such a place to be permanently shut. And one by one, the mosques will be closed, because they are places where weapons, passports, videocassettes can be found, and where the sermons at Friday Prayers can hardly help, in most cases, to bring themselves around the central subject of Islam: the division of the world, manichean and total division, between Believer and Infidel.
How dare the police keep their shoes on during a raid. How rude.....There is no end to the Islamic rhetoric.
