For once the Congresswoman and I agree, on one point: racial profiling. As for religious and national origin profiling, they are perfectly American if the "religion" in question is a political/social/economic ideology that has a 14 century history of violent propagation. The so-called "religion" of Islam shares more with Nazi facsism than it does with Buddhist meditation. The "religion" of Islam is the all-time wolf in sheep's clothing.

As for national profiling, on 11 Sept 2001 the United States was attacked by a foreign guerilla military force in an overt act of war upon the civilian population where said civilian population was not collateral to the military objectives of the enemy forces but was the primary target of the mass murder operation. We are at war, declared by the enemies of the United States, and this war is waged against the United States by foreign aggressors of known national origin.

If Congresswoman Pellosi and her sycophant colleagues don't "get it", they need to get used to the idea that future generations of Americans will condemn their refusal to enlighten themselves on the facts of the circumstance as tantamount to treason by omission and failure to defend the lives of the people they represent and failure to defend the Constitution for the United States. DP111, one thing I am still disturbed about the "War on Terror" is that the civilian population of America is simply told to sit back and let the government do all the work for them, that the best response is to simply keep one's eyes open and go shopping so the economy doesn't tank. In WW2, the civilian population was fully mobilized, doing what needed to be done to win the war. The same thing should've occurred after 9/11, with every person being trained in how best to be a part of a strong, coordinated national defense. To me, it is criminal to not help the people who will be the targets of jihadists -- the civilians, as you point out -- to learn how to defend themselves and take whatever actions are needed when they are threatened by those jihadists. I remember reading the article about the woman on the plane with the 14 "musicians" and how terrified she was. Better if she and everyone else on that plane knew how to subdue any hijack attempt. But, I guess that doesn't square with the "kindergarten state" mentality that would rather roll over for Islamism than trust the judgement of the people.

5. Contributions in increasing the demographic growth rate - over and above the call of duty.

Though it is good to provide protection to apostates, it can only be a palliative, and a weak one at that, in the war we are in.

Now it a truism that offence is the best form of defence, and the only way to win a war. So we need to think of a way of taking the war to the enemy.

Before we can do this we need to understand the real nature of this war. Now this war is most unusual. The Jihad that is being waged on us, is by Muslim civilians on us Infidel civilians. It is a private and personal war ie it is conducted in the main, at the personal level. Jihad is not just waged by the sword. The objective of every Muslim is to convert an Infidel and if that does not happen, if the opportunity arises, neutralise us. In so doing weaken Infidel society for it be taken over by Islam. That is main objective of the Jihad, and the sword is just one tool in the armoury.

Taking part in the Jihad is the sure way for a Muslim to avoid the fires of the Islamic hell and a way to paradise. Remarkably, this primitive concept of hell and heaven is adhered to by the majority of Muslims.

In this war that is being waged here in the West, our armed forces or the security forces, are of no use. They address the wrong enemy and not the real threat. So the question arises, how do we go on the offensive, without breaking the law, and thus exciting the forces of law and order to take the part of the Ummah?

This is the question that needs an answer.

How do we make the Infidel West an uncomfortable place to practice the Jihad?

How do we make the Infidel West, a place where the Ummah starts to diminish in numbers, such that their Imams strongly urge them to leave the West?

We need to defend Freedom, and this should give us moral and ethical certainty, that our cause is just and right.

How do we do all this, without recourse to any act that reduces our conviction that our cause is just?

When there are enough people acting in concert, then the suicidal PC socialists will have their voice drowned out and we can begin to expel Islam and make it stick. I understand that you allude to the individual nature of this war to a degree, but as long as the western governments are made up of traitors and frauds who are terrified of being called intolerant, then people are limited in what they can do.
