I just wrote about the FBI doing something right. Now here is Daniel Pipes in FrontPage with disquieting information about how they are, consistently and in the face of hard evidence, continuing to go very, very wrong.
· In February 2001, it promoted Gamal Abdel-Hafiz, a special agent who rejected a counterterror assignment on the grounds that "a Muslim does not record another Muslim."· In May 2002, FBI Director Robert Mueller had his spokesman call the American Muslim Council "the most mainstream Muslim group in the United States," despite its record of helping fund-raise for terrorism. Today, the AMC's long-time leader sits in jail and the organization is virtually defunct.

Sounds like Mueller and Cpl. Wassef Ali Hassoun are brothers under the skin. With people like this running the FBI and in our military when are our wonderful elected officials going to do what they were elected to do instead of spending all their time running for reelection?
When are we going to figure out that PC is not a euphamism for politeness, but for prejudice? It is imaterial whether a terrorist or a supporter of terrorism is a minority or not. Calling a spade a spade is not prejudice but reality. When everyone is held to the same standard of accountability we will truly be a free and equal democracy.
If a Christian had tried what this Gamal Abdel-Hafiz did, he or she would find themselves with out employment at the very least and possibly more.
Being polite or sensitive is not an asset in this war. We are not required to treat with kid gloves people whose allegiances lie with islam rather than with us. If you are looking for an Irish terrorist, you look in the Irish community, if you are looking for an islamo fascist terrorist, you look in the mosques.
“Your grandchildren will be loyal FBI agents, looking for islamos.”
This reminds me of the fight in Michigan over Islamic clergy that almost successfully got legislation passed that would allow them to have PRAYER CALLS from towers in town each day!
In the United States -- when I read this I almost fell off my chair.
What's next? Will the Muslim-American community that is using African American communities around Detroit as a cloak start moving to Atlanta in force? And then what would the security concerns be for that Southeastern Hub of commerce and travel?
This insanity is quickly getting out of control. National ID cards needed. Common sense needed. Say No to Middle Eastern immigrants needed. More members of the NRA needed!!!
God help this country, there are so many who are blindly selling us to the very enemy in our backyards now, it's almost like reading a Stephen King novel.

Well, no surprise here, PC is controlling our police forces to the point of becoming useless. Until the "War on Terror" becomes the "War on Islamic Extremists" this sort of stuff will continue to grace our news.
On another subject mentioned here...
The USA is estimated to contain 70 million gun owners, yet there are only about 5 million of those currently enrolled in the member ship of the NRA (4 million) and other 2nd amemndment supporting organizations. Given the continuous attacks on the rights of gun owners, one would think that more than 7-8% would have joined up by now. The publicly stated goal of most (if not all) of the attacking organizations and politicians is removing all rights to firearm ownership. I (NRA life member) simply cannot understand the apathy on the part of those who enjoy the right but are unwilling to join forces to protect said right.
Quite some correlation between the anti-2nd forces and Islam: both want to take away freedoms and replace them with one option: their way only.

Walker Colt. I too am a gun owner. The second amendment isn't going anywhere. No matter who's in office. Did you see Kerry shooting his 12 gauge on the news this weekend?
And, the NRA backs Bush.....Our guns won't be taken from us. They'll be needed to defend this country as soon as the Muslims think they're ready to take over.
And defending this nation from that heap is something I very sincerely look forward to. Aside from this though. They aren't going to search every home in America, and if they did, they'd only be lloking for the registered guns people own. Americans still drank, and drank during prohibition, know what I mean?

Speaking of Prohibition: There is a town about an hour and bit from where I lived in Pennsylvania, Minerstown if I recall correctly. When Prohibition ended, they gave licences to all the speakeasies that wanted them, made them legitimate bars.... all One Hundred of them.
It is Not a big town. Maybe 5000 people.

It would seem that you are right. Despite efforts opposed to the amendment in Hamtrack, the Muslims did indeed succeed in pushing the call to prayer through.
I was not even aware of this story (which is even more shocking) until I ran across a cartoon over at http://www.coxandforkum.com/ a couple of days ago. In that article the fight was mentioned and I suppose I was just hoping that insanity would not prevail.
Well, this seals it. We have West Coast judges forcing Los Angeles to remove a Christian cross from the city seal, and East Coast judges forcing the removal of monuments to the 10 Commandments but we allow a Muslim Call to Prayer to be a daily occurence despite noise ordinances and the separation of church and state?
This is outrageous.
I'll have much more to say on this topic. I'm getting to the point where Political Correctness be damned -- seal off Arizona and Michigan with barbed wire.

I would hope each one of you would email the Mayor of Hamtramck and state your complaints loudly but politely.
The FBI's action is outrageous. The agent in question needs to be fired. End of story. As a white Christian, I'd have no quarrel with the FBI going after the KuKuKluckers or Airhead Nations types (to look hard for "Christians" who are real or potential terrorists). The behavior of the agent in question is a loud and clear witness to Islam having absolutely no respect for anyone outside the faith.
I seriously doubt that any Muslim reader of this blog will come up with Islamic jurisprudence that protects non-Muslims against criminal behavior by Muslims.
Supposing that during World War II an official of the State Department had suggested the use of American white supremacists as interrogators of German prisoners on the grounds that their shared beliefs might make the prisoners more likely to yield important information. How long would it have been before that official found himself being interrogated by his superiors? It is obvious madness to use those whose beliefs make them most likely to betray America in positions where vital intelligence is at stake.
Why then are Muslims used to interrogate captured Muslim terrorists? The only answer is that the administration's continual refrain "Islam is a religion of peace" is not a public relations ploy but is actually a premise upon which America's policy in dealing with Muslim terrorists is based.
The FBI has become an embarrassment and needs to be dismantled and replaced with something completely new.

If a muslim cannot "record" (or arrest or go against etc...) another muslim then muslims should not be able to be in any type of law enforcement or in the military...where it would be their job to do so.
