Spanish police have found the car used by the Madrid bombers. It seems that they were listening to self-improvement tapes. From AP, with thanks to many who kindly sent this to me:
MADRID, Spain -- Three months after the Madrid train bombings, Spanish police found a rental car used by the terrorists containing personal effects, including tapes of Quranic verses and chants praising jihad, an official said Saturday.Police found the car on June 13 in the town of Alcala de Henares, the departure point of three of the four trains bombed in the March 11 attack, a police spokeswoman said on anonymity.
She said that investigators believe the bombers used the car, a Skoda Fabia, to transport some of the explosives used in the blasts, which killed 191 people and injured 2,000.
DNA tests on clothes found in the trunk confirmed that it was used by two suspected Islamic terrorists, one of whom later committed suicide to evade capture, she said.
"Apart from clothes, an alarm clock, an agenda and a Palestinian headscarf, police spotted two cassettes with calls to jihad and martyrdom," the spokeswoman said.

Because their many victims didn't have music before they were blown to bits or left horribly
mutilated. Why do we even bother to give a trial to these scum? Just strap some explosives to any captured terrorists and invite relatives of the dead to light the fuse...

To properly understand Muslim Spain, a little less Washington Irving and Chateaubriand, please, and a little more Bousquet and Dufourcq and Levi-Provencal.

The democratic will of the people ( which I believe to be the most powerful social force on Earth ) of Spain was inacted and the troops were pulled out of Iraq. That same will also wants the jihadist movement in Spain crushed.
The new government better put it's ass in gear and give the people what they want or they too will be tossed out like the last government. Which tried to confuse and misdirect the public from the true sorce of the terrorist threat.
Like the United States, Spain has made powerful strides against the jihadist. Then as things move along distrubing questions raise like " why are we not doing this or that? " and " what is not the government not telling us about thia or that?"
It makes one wonder exactly what game is being played.
