Amtrak spokesman Dan Stessel said he did not know the exact contents of the note, but a law enforcement source said it contained "pro-Muslim, anti-Jewish rhetoric." The note included the phrase, "You're all sitting ducks," said the source, who spoke on condition of anonymity.

I find it disturbing that so many people are aiding and abetting a general sense of denial in America. We Americans need to be sharp eyed and ready. I've vowed to do whatever my psyche tells me to do if I'm put in a situation where I see something strange or suspicious. We all need to protect one another. Screw the police, they aren't going to do anything except turn it over for investigation by intelligence junkies...When the gov't sees we are going to serve justice maybe then will they crack down harder on these scum.

As far as I see it, a big problem the U.S. has right now is that our country is divided between people who believe we are at war (and thus should be on a war footing as in WWII) and people who don't think we are at war (and thus choose to be PC.
One's approach to handling terrorists, islam, mosques, security, backpack searches, etc. is completely different based upon whether or not you have a war or no-war outlook. Too much PC is going to bury us. They just don't get it.
Since we seem to have such short memories in this country, I also think we should watch the planes going into the towers at least once a day. Saw it a lot yesterday on TV with the momentary buzz about the 9/11 Commission Report. By next week the buzz will be gone and we'll be PC-ing-it again.

I recently went to the Shanksville crash site and I have to tell you that while I have toured many battlefields here and abroad, nothing can prepare you for the sheer emotion one feels at that site. There is nothing short of an overflow of patriotism at the temporary memorial. My only question is, where did that all go? When did it become popular to forget about that terrible day and just go on with our lives?
I am in a masters program at a large, liberal university and just the other day I was sitting at a table with several people who remarked about 9/11 (loud enough for most of the restaurant to hear and said that "they should make a game like Jenga (a falling block game) that looks like the twin towers on fire" This enfuriated and sickened me to the point that either I left the table or I was going to go to jail. Had this happened 50 years ago the offensive individuals (who are law students by the way) would have been strung up and no jury in America would have convited me of beating these little monsters senseless. But instead, I excused myself from the table and the rest of the patrons continued their meal acting oblivious, because they (like these soon to be lawyers) would rather forget and move on than let the rest of the world know that we are united and willing to bear any burden to preserve our way of life and honor the sacrifices of the millions of men and women who have made this country great!

To everyone that posts here, I know that this may not sound like it makes much sense but although what happens and what's said on this site is extremely vital, please think about taking the time to gather information that you have and send it to your State Congress Representatives.
These Senators and Congress Reps. are broken up into certain commitees, such as Intelligence, Terrorism, etc. Please just give it some thought.
When elected officials are swamped with calls, letters and e-mails all about the same topic or concern, they will respond. We just have to stay on their asses and remind them of who they work for, and it ain't the Muslims. If they know that public opinion is overwhelming, they'll move on it, slow but sure.
I just contacted my State Rep. this week.
Just give it some thought if you would.

The commission finally broke the government taboo. They isolated radical Islam as the problem and have now publicly said that they cannot negotiate with it. It may seem one small step, but with apologies to Neil Armstrong, this may be the giant leap we've been waiting for in terms of officially recognizing the Islamic threat to our way of life.
We are never going to solve this problem until we STOP talking about TERRORISTS and START talking about ISLAM.

Ibn Taimiyyah, Wahhabism, Muslim Brotherhood, Sayyid Qutb -- hey, hey. Looks like someone has been been giving the Congress a pertinent history lesson in Islamist ideology. It's about time; since they apparently don't read much (Peter Lance, Yossef Bodansky, Jayna Davis, Dore Gold).
They do look scared. In fact they look down right apoplectic. However, that doesn't seem to stop them from wanting to put this into committees. ARE THEY NUTS! Thinking terrorism, talking committees. (To paraphrase from an old anti-war book title.) They need to act much faster than that!
