Another Islamic "hijacking." Looks as if the jihad will continue. From AP, with thanks to DC Watson:
UNITED NATIONS - Sudan denounced a U.N. Security Council resolution that gave the government 30 days to stem ethnic violence in the western Darfur region or face sanctions, saying Khartoum needed international help, not threats.Sudan said the resolution, passed 13-0 on Friday, violates a previous agreement with U.N. Secretary-General Kofi Annan, in which it promised to crack down on the militias who have killed thousands of people and forced more than 1 million to flee in Darfur.
"Sudan expresses its deep sorrow that the issue of Darfur has quickly entered the Security Council and has been hijacked from its regional arena," Information Minister El-Zahawi Ibrahim Malik said in a statement.
But the violence has continued despite a cease-fire called in July and Sudanese promises of a crackdown. The three African countries on the council — Algeria, Angola and Benin — backed the U.S.-sponsored resolution.
"Sudan expresses its deep sorrow that the issue of Darfur has quickly entered the Security Council and has been hijacked from its regional arena," Information Minister El-Zahawi Ibrahim Malik said in a statement.
I'm sure they wanted more time to make ensure the "cleansing was more thourough"
Information Minister El-Zahawi Ibrahim Malik and the rest of the Sudanese Governing powers must be thinking "No FAIR! The UN gave Saddam 13 or was it 17? resolutions and decades of non compliance before America finally by-passed it and enforced compliance!”
Hopefully the public shame that the UN has suffered as spineless, deceitful, thieves and liars is having a positive effect?
Once again here comes the effective and intimidating UN with their worthless security council resoultions
I am not surprised at the responce from the Islamic-barbarians in Kartoum.
The only hope of saving the black africans in Dafur is swift and strong military action.
IF not, this will be the second genocidal slaugther purportrated by the Islamic government in the Sudan. The first was the annihilation of two million Sudanese Christians.
Unfortunately at this rate there will be no one left to save. Sudan will have completed the "final solution" while Kofi Annan and much of the rest of the world shuffles papers and looks the other way. It appears that most of the American public agree with his stance.
The United States can not get involved in Sudan. I am convinced that this is as much a lure as anything else.
Let us see the rest of the world take action. After all, is it not the United States that has been demonized since Abu Ghraib? We aren't supposed to have a white hat on any longer according to the world press....
Being the "bad guy" does gain you a few advantages in this war on terror.
We need to concentrate on the terror activities right here in the United States and find the cells that are seeking to attack again. The threat chatter is loud and ominous. Spreading thin into Africa would be a dangerous mistake.
When has the "rest of the world" taken action without the United States leading the way?
The US is more than capable of dealing with the Sudan without spreading its forces to thin.
Air Strikes would be a start.
Are not the lives of these people worth saving?
This insensitivity towards the suffering and destruction of human life is very sad, and it will be mans downfall.
http://knowislam.info/forum/
A new forum by a female ex-Muslim.
There is no insensitivity involved in choice-making as far as Sudan is concerned. Sudan has been warned for years to stop harboring terrorists like Bin Laden and they refused to listen.
The United States is not the world's policeman.
We are under NUCLEAR threat, if I have to spell it out. The initial blast from such a disaster would be 350,000 dead with upwards of 3 million in the heart of NYC over a 2 week period. This dwarfs the Sudan problem pretty damn fast.
Attack from Al Qaeda rumored by our own FBI and government sources to occur by November 2. We can only pray that this attack, if it does happen this year, does NOT take nuclear form, but I have read the material that presses the issue. You can find "Osama's Revenge" on store shelves right now in the new books section if you'd like to see the evidence for yourselves.
I'll say this one more time: The United States of America needs to be keeping its eyes on the homefront now more than ever. The problem is real, deadly and growing.
Let Africans deal with Africans, or let the world face its own shame. The USA has nothing to answer for to the world, but we sure would not be able to look ourselves in the mirror if we did not try our best to root out there domestic terrorist cells, and quickly.
The following was taken from an article entitled:Sudan's Slaves by Michael Coren, posted at Frontpage magazine.com 11/25/03
"Women and children abducted in slave raids are roped by the neck or strapped to animals and then marched north. Along the way, many women and girls are repeatedly gang-raped. Children who will not be silent are shot on the spot. In the north, slaves are either kept by individual militia soldiers or sold in markets. Boys work as livestock herders, forced to sleep with the animals they care for".
"Some who try to escape have their Achilles tendons cut to hamper their ability to run. Masters typically use women and girls as domestics and concubines, cleaning by day and serving the master sexually by night. Survivors report being called "Abeed" (black slave), enduring daily beatings, and receiving awful food. Masters also strip slaves of their religious and cultural identities, giving them Arabic names and forcing them to pray as Muslims."
"Another says. "Families were broken up, with children sometimes murdered in front of their mothers as a warning and because they were too much trouble. We cried out to the West, to the countries who said they believed in human rights, but they were indifferent to our agony."
This speaks for itself, I have nothing to add.
Foehammer,
What does the fact that the Sudanese government, having been previously warned to stop harboring terrorists, have to do with their current campaign of genocidal slaugther of the Africans in Dafur?
"The United States is not the worlds policman"
This sounds like some typical knee jerk liberal responce.
"We are under NUCLEAR threat"
By whom are we under direct and emenint Nuclear threat. If you are refering to the Islamo terroists, yes the possibilty of this exsists, but tell me exactly how this would be done.
Futhermore, if the above threat is real, how would you go about stopping this.
"Let Africans deal with Africans"
If the people of Dafur were caucasian I wonder if you would have the same responce.
Locating terrorists here in the US would not interfere with possible military action, Air Strikes for example. It is the responsibilty of our Law Enforcement Agencys here in the US to deal with this problem, as such your statement is in error.
Typo: I wonder if you would have "had" the same responce
I've made my opinions clear on this matter. The plight of all innocent people bothers me, but we are at war. Too many people keep forgetting this fact because our enemies hide in spider holes and behind women and children.
Tell the French to send in the Foreign Legion. They aren't busy.
Foehammer,
The French are the last ones to fight.
Well all know that the "Frogs" are a bunch of cowards.
Futhermore, I don't eat Cheese and I don't drink their pissy wine.
Foehammer,
As far as I'm concerned the Sudan is on the list with all the other Islamic-Bastard countries.
They all need to be dispatched to "Allah".
Ok. Working from another comp makes signing in interesting...
still two days until the Wedding Weeks are done.
I am Out of it, weddings are rough! But fun.
Note: If Kerry become our next president, expect the US military to Become the policeman of the world, as he will turn our military over to the UN to use as they see fit.
this way he can maintain his claim that 'He' isn't the one sending them into harm's way...
OT:
Does anyone have info on a radio interview that M. Night Shyamalan (a muslim, of course) gave about his new movie, "The Village"? I heard that he said that the message behind the film was an indictment of President Bush, Republicans, America in general and the war on terrorism specifically. I've read some spoilers online that seem to back that up.
BTW, I forgot to mention that many who heard the interview are boycotting the movie due to his comments.
Everytime the US extends ourselves to "do the right thing", we get demonized by the world for it.
Here is a short list of people who might be contacted to rally efforts in support of the suffering people of Darfur:
(skipping the obvious Kofi "do-nothing" Annan)
Nelson Mandela
Oprah Winfrey
Al Sharpton
Jesse Jackson
Tim Robinson
Susie Sarandon
Babs Streisand
I'm sure others can offer up other names.
Most of these people can easily afford to airlift humanitarian aid, create concerts, songs (You are the World, We are Sudan, listen to the Arab women sing in praise as we are raped and murdered..number 1 with a bullet, that.) Telethons even. Oprah can do a segment with everyone getting all weepy eyed as we are treated to images of mutilation.
Where are the protestors with black sacks over their heads in front of the Sudanese embassy? Where are the Pro-Life people? Where is Peta?
Where is CNN? Send Christiane Amanpour there to get the story. She hates the US, maybe she can find out how it's our fault this is happening. At least if it turns out to be our fault, Darfur will be covered 24/7 on cable news. There will be sanctions in the UN and then something will be done.
Still OT:
Also BTW, the significance of the color red in the film "The Village" was "the states that voted for Bush in the 2000 election". (Remember the maps?)

No, I didn't hear the radio interview but I've seen "Signs" and to see that is to know this man could not possibly be a Muslim. So I went looking to find out for sure. And did get the info.
"This astonishing story (SIGNS) of suffering, grief, and redemption comes from a 32-year-old wunderkind who was born a Hindu and attended Roman Catholic and Episcopal schools in his formative years. Shyamalan is making brilliant, significant, and provocative films in a time when more experienced directors flood the market with sludge.
In a pivotal scene with his brother, Hess explains that people see life's circumstances either as miracles, as proof of God's caring for them, or as mere luck. In a film culture so rife with cynicism and multimillion-dollar product placements, it is a miracle to behold this film by M. Night Shyamalan.

OT: I just finished Carmen Bin Ladin's (she spells it that way)Inside the Kingdom. This book is extremely damning of Saudi society and indicates that the Saudis are going to be a continuing existential threat to Western civilization as long as they exist. She confirms that almost all Saudis are supporters of Osama and further confirms the Saudi's commitment to spread Islam throughout the world.
She has been completely cut off by the Bin Laden family and wrote the book for two reasons: 1)to expose Saudi society and Wahabbi Islam; and 2) because she needs the money. Support the fight against terror and buy her book. We must support courageous people like her and Ibn Warraq by buying their books.
I will try to post a little bit more about the book later.
Cheers!
OT: Just to be clear, when I say that Ms. Bin Ladin wrote the book for the reasons that I ascribe above - that is in my opinion, my conjecture, my hypothesis. She NEVER says that she wrote the book for the money anywhere in the book, although you would have to think it is a pretty obvious reason.
The question is asked:\
“Where is the Muslim outcry against the outrage anywhere in the world? Why aren't American Muslims denouncing these practices?”
The fundamental theme and essence of this site is that Islam and the Koran by their very essence obliterate free will and replace it with blind adherence to an ignorant dogma of the stone age.
Bomb, decapitate, assassinate, destroy, kill in the name of Allah and his (shaved) bum-boy Mohammed all the while maintaining that this is somehow Allah’s will and their religious right.
Demand your freedom of religion to preach your filth, but deny that same right to all others.
Silent Muslims further the cause by contributing enough money for others to do their dirty work for them. Remember “Muslims first infidels adistant distant second”
The cult of Islam was founded by the debased, proliferated by the wicked, preached by the hateful and spread by the sword.
Mohammed’s fiction, the Koran, lacks a moral centre, preaches militant hate of and death to the infidel, brooks no tolerance for peace and has no Honor. It reflects nothing more than the cult of the assassin.
Anything is justifiable if the end is for that bastard Allah. There is no room for moderation or concession.
Think American Muslims will denounce the practices? - NOT A CHANCE
You cannot operate your brain while under the influence of Islam.

Whistling Dixie:
M. Night Shyamalan IS a muslim. His family converted from Hinduism when he was a child. Many muslims attend Christian schools to get a better education - I know some myself. I read an aricle/brief bio of him in Time magazine a few months ago and he categorically stated that he IS a muslim.
Heck, I don't care what he is as long as he makes movies like "Signs", "The Sixth Sense," and "Unbreakable." It would be strange for him to go on an anti-Bush, anti-conservative jeremiad, given that his films so far embrace conservative values.
W.D.:
OK, now I can't find the article (maybe it was a different magazine) and everything I can find online implies that he is a Hindu. I distinctly remember the article because I had been sensitized from JW to media bias and muslim influence and the statement that they had actually CONVERTED TO ISLAM really surprised me, being from India, etc.
Can anyone help me out here? Only help showing that he is other than Hindu, I mean.
Getting way off topic here but I'm concerned about this mislabeling, these days such things can be very serious and have implications.
American Enterprise, April-May, 2003 by Don Feder
The man who was born Manoj Nettiyalu Shyamalan (Night is a literal translation of his middle name) in India on August 6, 1970 was raised a Hindu. He says he's a less pious one than his mother and father or wife. His physician parents brought him to America as an infant, and he was raised in an affluent Philadelphia suburb. In cameo appearances in three of his films he speaks completely unaccented English.
Shyamalan attended a Catholic parochial school. There, he earned the highest grade in his religion class, and apparently absorbed many elements of Catholicism (which regularly appear in his films). "The teacher got upset that I got the best grade and I wasn't a Catholic," Shyamalan reminisces.
Night (as his friends call him) is anything but an orthodox Hindu. "Faith is something very different than religion for me," Shyamalan told an interviewer for the Los Angeles Daily News in 2001. "Religion is some group saying their particular version of God is the right version, and that's hard for me to accept.... The guy in Nepal, and the little boy in Africa, and the old man in Maine--all three of them with very different versions of God--and maybe none of them are right? I just can't believe that. There has to be some unifying thing."
"I believe in believing," states Shyamalan. While that admittedly sounds a tad Shirley MacLaine-ish, consider where Shyamalan goes with it. He concludes that "the biggest question you can ask" is whether God is real (which is the same as wondering whether, ultimately, life and the universe have meaning).
Shyamalan asks that question repeatedly in his films, which are all heavy with religious symbolism. In The Sixth Sense, little Cole Sear--"Seer"?--(who sees "dead people") takes refuge from his apparitions in a Catholic church where he first meets psychologist Malcolm Crowe (Bruce Willis). During the encounter, Cole repeats a phrase in Latin from Psalm 130--"Out of the depths have I called Thee, O Lord." The boy also steals religious statues (set up with votive candles in a blanket tent cum shrine erected in his bedroom) to protect him from the spirits of the violently deceased.
Right on Toro..
In their own words....
in 1996, Bassam Tibi wrote this:
At its core, Islam is a religious mission to all humanity. Muslims are religiously obliged to disseminate the Islamic faith throughout the world. “We have sent you forth to all mankind” (Q. 34:28). If non-Muslims submit to conversion or subjugation, this call (da’wa) can be pursued peacefully. If they do not, Muslims are obliged to wage war against them. In Islam, peace requires that non-Muslims submit to the call of Islam, either by converting or by accepting the status of a religious minority (dhimmi) and paying the imposed poll tax, jizya. World peace, the final stage of the da’wa, is reached only with the conversion or submission of all mankind to Islam…Muslims believe that expansion through war is not aggression but a fulfillment of the Qur’anic command to spread Islam as a way to peace. The resort to force to disseminate Islam is not war (harb), a word that is used only to describe the use of force by non-Muslims. Islamic wars are not hurub (the plural of harb) but rather futuhat, acts of “opening” the world to Islam and expressing Islamic jihad. Relations between dar al-Islam, the home of peace, and dar al-harb, the world of unbelievers, nevertheless take place in a state of war, according to the Qur’an and to the authoritative commentaries of Islamic jurists. Unbelievers who stand in the way, creating obstacles for the da’wa, are blamed for this state of war, for the da’wa can be pursued peacefully if others submit to it. In other words, those who resist Islam cause wars and are responsible for them.
Are these people we can reason with?
W.D.:
I read that same article online before I posted.
I still maintain that I read in a mainstream media magazine (hard copy) that he was a convert to islam. (It may have been Newsweek but you have to pay to access their archives.) I don't need any more proof that he is a Hindu. I'm just trying to clear up the discrepancy. I was affected by it at the time and so I remember it clearly. I wouldn't go about "mislabeling" deliberately, but there is a definite question there.
Stinking Khartoum Government are perfect examples
of Jihad Genocidal Killers practising delaying tactics and Taqqiya according to Qur'an.Am not a praying person but am certainly willing
to go down on my knees and beg that someone, somewhere will do something to prevent more innocents being slaughtered in Sudan.U.N are f*****g USELESS.
Like Night Shyamalan, I am a member of the Writers Guild of America. We had a bit of bother about 50 years ago, some of you may have even heard of it. It was called The Black List. During the McCarthy hearings people were accused of certain affiliations without substantive proof. Lives and careers were ruined just by a statement made against them.
There's an old saying "You can throw a half a brick farther than a whole brick."
I wouldn't like to see that happen again courtesy of this current situation which, thanks to the enemy, is so like both Nazism and Communism and may cause us to have similar visceral reactions.
This is a public forum and what we say here may travel far and wide and last for a good long time, long after any retractions may be posted and unseen.
Regarding your "definite question", CGW, do you think this article in Hinduism Today is incorrect?
http://www.hinduismtoday.com/archives/2001/3-4/20_m_shyamalan.shtml
or
http://www.hindu.com/thehindu/fr/2002/10/18/stories/2002101801270600.htm
or the Newsweek article "American Masala" in which desis are described--young Hindis--Night Shyamalan among them.
http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/4522891/
I would be glad to pay the small fee involved in obtaining the article which states categorically that Mr. Shyamalan is a Muslim and not a Hindu as all the other sources assure us. Please post the link. Someone's life and career may depend on our accuracy.
The UN should by dismanteled and shipped to France.God knows the French love that impotent and dispicable organization.
These idiots at the UN still have not realized that their security council resolutions have not, and never will be effective, especially aganist the hardcore Islamic regime in Khartoum.
History tells us that the threat of sanctions will not motivate governments such as this.
These resolutions are not worth the paper they are printed on.
Military force is the only "language" the bastards will understand.
Why has it taken 2,000,000 lives and ten years for the issue of sudan to reach the public eye?
Why have the media stayed silent and why have the UN COVERED UP and refused to investigate the genocide?
How has the UN been highjacked by Islamist despotic countries so that it must not sanction so many continual Islamic atrocities and yet spend its time attacking Israel over any concoted accusation placed before it?
How can Kofi ANNAN hold up his head after the mass murders of black people during his watch?
This isn't new,I watched a special on Canadian TV about the 10th anniversary of the Rhwanda genecide. The Canadian General overseeing the massacre tells how the U.N. ignored the problem until it hit the media and then they blame the General for not stressing the need for intervention.
Looks like we'll have to wait for the movie version of the genecide or at least the paperback report so we can see who is to blame.
W.D.:
Perhaps I missed it, but I couldn't find a reference to Night's religion in either the second or third articles' links you posted. The Newsweek article refers to him specifically only as a "Southeast Asian".
I don't have a link to post, I was going to dig around at Newsweek but cannot do so without paying for multiple articles. I maintain that I read about the conversion in a hard copy national news magazine, but I can't find the article online so I can't prove it. If I'm able to obtain further information, I will post it.
The questions about the radio interview, however, remain unanswered.
correction: "South Asians"
Kofi Anann is a weak, appeasing, spineless and gutless man who is more concernned with not offending the Islamic world, than he is with the inevitable genocidal slaugther of millions of black africans.
The UN should be abolished, as it now clearly represents the interests of the "third world" Islamic Countries that have infected this obsolete and useless organization.
Kofi Annan is on the payroll of terror and/or Islamists -- there is already mounting evidence against him and his family that clearly shows they took part in the Oil for Food scandal.
Kofi Annan might fool most people with his soft-spoken behavior, but I would remind everyone that not all monsters shout like Hitler.
So, if anyone wishes to know why he does so little to stop the slaughter in Africa year after year, one probably need look no further than his Swiss bank accounts.
Whistling Dixie:
I cannot find anything online saying that Shyamalan is anything but a Hindu. (However, most of the articles referring to religion are 2+ years old.) So even though I am certain about what I read (it made a HUGE impression on me) I am willing to concede that the article was wrong until proven otherwise.
One bright note - if there is ANY evidence of a conversion to islam, you can be sure that Reza will find it and post it forthwith!!! :-)
M-
Could it be Mohammed Night Shyamalan?
Degenerate:
No, it's an Indian name. As I said, all the evidence that I can find points to him being Hindu.
The "M" stands for "Manoj".
So, dropping the steel of imposing sanctions on Sudan, the UN Security Council’s voted to give it a further month to halt its Ethnic Cleansing-Jihad-Genocide campaign in Darfur. Khartoum initially rejected the censure, but then said it’ll nonetheless be reining in the marauding Janjawid militias during the period - the next 30 days will tell, but the odds are poor that it’ll be able to do it, even if it’s SERIOUS (with nothing whatever, anywhere, to evince that it is).
Tonight, Sudan sits collegiately on the UN’s Human Rights Commission. Therefore, its word and its denial of abuses on its soil ought to be immediately accepted, with relief, at face value - or else it’s a harsh insult to the Islamist, Arab-supremacist Government of Sudan. No reservation as to its utmost sincerity should be entertained (let alone expressed), lest Sudanese “sensibilities” be trammelled. Reflexively, this would have to extend to “needlessly” impugning the “dignity” of the dar el-Islam, in toto, rendering it even more hostile than it is at the moment.
Accordingly, like the “War on Terror” itself, the horrors of Darfur must go misnamed, not as the Ethnic Cleansing-Jihad-Genocide Offensive - which, undoubtedly, it is - but, amorphously, as “another humanitarian disaster”. Why? Because the UN doesn’t give a rip about such things any more; it’s become the pathetic parody of itself, a sink-hole of hypocrisy, detrimental to peace.
Over the last 30 years, the UN’s been incrementally - “democratically” - hijacked by the callous core of the biggest voting-bloc and the largest single minority, hence the “automatic majority”, in the General Assembly. This inner-circle is a small number (principally Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Syria, the UAE) of the members of the Arab League, working through that body and its creature, the Organization of Islamic Conferences, as well as its minion, the Non Aligned Movement.
For three decades of superlatively assiduous application, never sparing the devices of bribery, blackmail, disinformation and intransigence, the League, the OIC and the NAM have been able to infiltrate and imbed their personnel, to saturation, throughout every one of the UN’s multiple bureaucracies, instrumentalities, agencies, etc (on the basis of ratios in allotment with the UN’s byzantine “spoils system”, with its own special “compensatory quota”, solely for “Palestinians”).
The fruition of enhanced Arab influence in the UN - as indeed in every other sphere into which it’s intruded - has degraded the UN to the tragic state that it’s in today: terminally subverted, paralyzed, decorticated, comatose, corrupted, co-opted and compromised, daily betraying its founding ideals, its cardinal principles - working AGAINST them - without batting an eye.
This isn’t accidental: at this juncture, the mad, malign, Arab and Moslem potentates - reflecting the popular sentiment of most of their rabble - are bidding for a major power-role on the grand, geostrategic stage (by impelling a US withdrawal from the Middle East and thus creating a freer space on the board for themselves to fill). Out of their dogmas of predestined triumph for their ideology, they’re fully confident of gaining it - unless they’re unmistakably SHOWN otherwise.
Their prime objective, once the power to do so is in their ambit, is to employ it to conduct a great SERIES of ethnic cleansings-Jihads-genocides, in innumerable corners of the Earth, as soon as they can, to establish the universal rule they’ve been “Divinely” ordained to implement.
Via the regular, ostensibly “unstoppable” repetition of “humanitarian disasters” like Rwanda, Somalia, Bosnia, Congo and Darfur, the rabid Arabs and Moslems - who, ultimately, “Love Death” - want the peoples of the dar el-harb to grow CONDITIONED to such atrocities, to perceive them as normal - till it’s their turn… and it’s TOO LATE.
These Arabs and Moslems don’t plan for anyplace on the planet to MISS OUT on their racist mayhem (at the individual “Holy Warrior”’s prerogative, the “reversion” of any captives to Islam and their enslavement, or them being killed on the spot), either - which is why they deem the UN to be such a splendid tool for their purposes, wishing to see it hang on for as long as necessary, to constitute a fine mask for discharging their prospective Megacide.

What a great post!
I am just reading Bodansky's expose of "the balkan wars".
I had not realised through all the disinformation that this was basically islamic jihad propagated form arbic states and pakistan.
There is a great reluctance in the West to recognize that the fighting in Bosnia was a resurgence of the conflict between Islam and Christendom which shaped five centuries of Balkan history.
Alija Izetbegovic is the Muslim leader whom the U.S. and NATO supported during the Bosnian civil war in the 1990s. The Western media and governments recognized him as President of Bosnia
MR. IZETBEGOVIC'S MEIN KAMPF ("Islamska deklaracija"),
remember this Bosnian president was presented to the west as a "secularist".
There can be no peace or coexistence between the "Islamic faith" and non- Islamic societies and political institutions. ... Islam clearly excludes the right and possibility of activity of any strange ideology on its own turf.
"... In the struggle for an Islamic order all methods are permitted, except one - except crime. No-one has the right to smear the beautiful name of Islam and this struggle by uncontrolled and excessive use of violence. ..."
"... the Islamic movement should and must start taking over the power as soon as it is morally and numerically strong enough to not only overthrow the existing non-Islamic, but also to build up a new Islamic authority. ..."
NATO bombed Christian children in order to help Islam Fundamentalist and get a stronghold in the heart of Europe... Serbs were expelled from Sarajevo, city they founded more than thousand years ago
IS THIS WHAT CLINTON WENT TO WAR FOR under UN APPROVAL?
HG11
Why if he was painted as a "secularist democrat" did (The NYT presented him as an Islamic moderate).
1 NATO intervene politically and militarily for Izetbegovic. For example, former US Ambassador to Croatia, Peter Galbraith, admitted in congressional testimony that the U.S. gave Croatia the green light to violate international agreements by letting Iranian weapons reach Izetbegovic's army
2 The US also allied with Iran in order to import foreign mujahideen terrorists into Bosnia, and this was all coordinated directly by Pentagon intelligence.
Izetbegovic was an Islamist fanatic, and that this was no secret in Yugoslavia, and the media lied systematically following the Islamic agendas.
DID The US invoke the threat of fundamentalist terror in order to excuse its military adventures, but - covertly - allied with and sponsor Islamic fundamentalists around the world under CLINTON?

It seems the rules of the un are clearly defined.
to protect the spread of Islamic Jihad and ease the take over of new territooes under the Umma.
to inhibit any miltary action against perpetrators of Jihad by non islamic countries.
to condemn and villify any country that seeks do defend itself from attack by islamic Jihad and to weaken their defences until self defence is impossible.
To mislead and misinform the west by blaming the US or Israel so as to create an umbrella of hate under which Jihad can hide and progress to global domination.
Recently we have had.
the refusal to condemn Sudan.
The refusal to hold a symposium on antisemetism,
The attempt to stop israel from defending itself against Islamic Jihad.
How many more before we recognise the writng on the wall ?
And before you charitably open your cheque books, remember what happened to the generous US food aid in Somalia !
CGW,
M. Night Shyamalan is a hindu name
(perhaps a Southern Indian name).
Though, I have no idea what religion he practises
or whether he practises none at all. Nor is it my business.
With the exception of his one time wonder 'Sixth Sense'
(which had a stroke of genius), he has been making incoherent turkeys. Reviews of his
latest movie are horrible. So, he may just be
trying to gain some cheap publicity by creating
controversy. But, he has already missed the Michael Moore train for this season. Also, many Indians (much like Filipinos , Brazilians etc) have a leftist
and socialist view of the world. There is ofcourse an exception when it
comes to Pakistan or problems that directly affect them. Call it the failed and idiotic Nehruvian
ideology. Besides, Americans and Europeans behave in the same fashion. They only understand the problems that affect them and think little of other problems.
Most people in the film industry (in both hollywood and bollywood) have leftist
ideas who believe that muslim
appeasement is the only
solution to terrorism. Bombay film industry has
been completely infiltrated by both money and
underworld from Dubai/UAE/Saudi Arabia. Jihadi terrorism has claimed 60,000 victims in India
(which is more than Israel). Yet very few of these 'secular' Indian films show terrorism as a problem. It is ok to show any problem or controversy in hinduism but the problems in Islam can never be shown in a 'secular' India. Shyamalan has connections in both Hollywood and and Bollywood. So his ideas would not surprise me.
HGll and chevalier de st george-
Great posts! Something more sinister than I ever thought is fermenting in the UN.
I'll think of the UN as the first Mosque in the New World Caliphate This is really bad news.
And boy did they play Clinton like a fool in Bosnia.
Manoj Nelliyattu Shyamalan. Are you now or have you ever been a Muslim.
Welcome to the new witch hunt.
I'm sure this quote from Night Shyamalan himself isn't sufficient. Maybe he converted in the past week.

"I'm not very big on orthodox religions. I'm big on spirituality. I'm Hindu, technically, but I like the Buddhist philosophy that says all religions are vessels to get to the shore. Concentrate on where you're going. Don't worship the boat."
Shyamalan is also known for making a cameo appearance in each picture. Is it just a tribute to Hitchcock, who did the same thing, or is it something more?
Now can we get back to fighting the bad guys?
Whistling Dixie:
In case you missed it, I already gave up awhile back in this thread.
I still maintain that I read the information, even though it proved to be wrong. My mistake was believing information published in a national news magazine that I did not see retracted anywhere else. Because I didn't see the need to catalog and document the reference at the time doesn't mean that I am a rumor-monger. I am a victim of our media's inaccuracy, and I apologize for perpetrating what turned out to be false information. I don't make a habit of checking every single fact that I read in a mainstream media article;(only the suspect ones, which this did not seem to be) that would be impossible. How many ways do you want me to say that I was wrong for believing what the article said? I didn't just make something up. I was misled. I repeated something which I believed to be common knowledge. That's hardly an indictment of me worthy of your continued scorn and derision.
THANKS, CHEVALIER! THANKS, ARTIST!
Sorry, the Balkans aren’t my field, but I think that, astoundingly, even now, after September 11 and the Bali bombings, large numbers of Americans, Australians and others remain - unwittingly or not - ignorant of the nature of the “War on Terror” and of the character of the antagonists faced in it.
This was a LOT moreso in the ‘90s, so why should Bill Clinton, his political perceptions gained consistently in the lofty atmosphere of “liberalism”, plus constantly seeking to reflect the "popular mood", have had any functional concept then of what had gurgled up from the abyss to confront him in Bosnia? Or Somalia, or Afghanistan? - After all, neither the US Department of State, nor the universities’ schools of Middle East studies - both raddled to the core with Arabists, their apologists and sympathizers - would have been of the slightest value at all in tipping him off re Islamo-fascism: TO THE CONTRARY.
Following the Cold War, while the USA was largely basking in a mindless holiday through the 1990s, for anybody to voice there (as I’d endeavoured to) that there may be some dire, implacable enemy, emerging from the shadows, was classed as nigh-clinical PARANOIA. History had “ended”, had it not? Wasn’t America the undisputed Champ forever, run clean out of challengers?
The Democrats, then and now, persist in their old trouble of grasping that the Islamist scourge CANNOT BE APPEASED, that it won’t go away till it’s ACTIVELY obliterated. They search, in vain, for every obscure, self-flagellating “root-cause” for the affliction, unable to assimilate the fact that they’re dealing with a belligerent, barbaric, blood-feasting, pre-modern, hate-driven, parasitic, totalitarian IDEOLOGY, not a bunch of "hapless victims of misapplied Western might", whose complaints a “sensitive” social-worker - plus the abandonment of Israel - can remedy in a trice.
In US schoolrooms, for ages, when the pupils are introduced to Debating, a most common motion to kick off on is: “It’s better to be loved than feared”; most students strongly do NOT wish to oppose this warm and fuzzy sentiment - they’re pre-conditioned to want to say “aye”.
However, in today’s arch-Hobbesian environment, inhabited by el-Qaeda and its butchers, the murderous Moslem Brotherhood, the nuclearizing Iranian Ayatollahs, the terrorist PLO-Hamas-Jihad Islami-“Pal” Hezbollah, the fascist Syrian Baath, the Saddamist rump in Iraq, the Sudanese Arab Janjawid, the North Korean Stalinists, the racist brutes of Zimbabwe, the Burmese militarists, etc, the attitude of these young American naîfs could sorely need some prompt and drastic changing around.
Alas, I’m afraid that while Evil builds continually upon its own self (Islamo-fascism contains poisonous elements of the 20th Century’s Nazism, Fascism and Communism, which are VITAL to it), Virtue’s compelled always learn to find its feet afresh, in every generation.
In effect, the West’s hard Left’s nowadays on the side of the Jihadis, bearing an intersecting, ahistorical, anti-American, anti-democratic, anti-individualist, anti-capitalist, anti-globalist, antisemitic agenda. They’re beyond argument and beyond assistance: basically, not a second should be wasted in exchanges with them, not when there are constructive priorities to pursue.
The “liberals” choose not to see reason either, though, e.g. clinging desperately to their erroneous notion, as it was put at this week’s Boston Democratic Convention, that terrorism’s mainly an item for “intelligence and law-enforcement”, implying NOT for military force - their dreamy pacifism ought not to’ve been perturbed by the campaigns in Afghanistan and Iraq, particularly if it upsets the UN, their shining Hero. With one or two exceptions, this was Clinton’s tack - the 9/11 assaults, in all logic, should’ve amply demonstrated how tragically WRONG that airy approach was, and is.
But the Democrats are stickin’ with it, greatly in order to woo back America’s “friends” in the “international community” (like France), proposing to turn the USA’s back on NECESSARY, practical options to have up the sleeve, such as unilateral pre-emption and, indeed, nuclear first-strike ability (with modern, “specialized” devices), which could well - in a highly ominous future - prove indispensable to winning the War. Remember, please - as once versus the Nazis, Fascists and Imperialist Japan - in this conflict, there’ll be NO SUBSTITUTE FOR WESTERN VICTORY.
The West - America, Canada, Europe and their ubiquitous Allies and associates - lamentably, will probably all need to discover this THE HARD WAY, again. I do hope there’ll be adequate TIME for the lesson to be digested, proper measures to be instituted, sound progress to be made and Islamo-Fascism and its ilk ELIMINATED from the planet, never to plague us again.
