Muhammad's Army is at the ready in Sudan: the tiny minority of extremists alerts worshippers at the central mosque in Khartoum. From CNN, with thanks to Jeffrey Imm:
Meanwhile a group calling itself Mohammed's army called on Muslims to prepare to fight Western forces sent on any mission to western Sudan....In its warning of action against western forces, the previously unknown group said in a statement obtained by Reuters: "We have seen and heard of the American and British interference in Darfur and there is no doubt that this is a crusader war that bears no relation to the citizens of Darfur."
"We call upon you to speedily head towards Darfur and dig deep into the ground mass graves prepared for the crusader army," it added.
Witness said young Sudanese men were handing out the statements to worshippers at the central mosque in the capital, Khartoum.
The United States can not afford to put me on the ground in Sudan.
Leave this to Europe for a change. We must maintain vigilance on our own shores right now and be prepared for anything.
There will be another time to deal with Sudanese mujahadeen, but now is not that time.
Oops, typo. me = men. (Indeed, nobody can afford to put ME on the ground right now. I feel like Rambo lately. It would not boad well for the jihadists. Hehe.)
This is ridiculous. We don't need to send anyof our troops to Sudan for this to be resolved. A private Military company can be hired to go in and destroy these savages.
A group the likes of "Executive Outcomes" could send 100 people into the area and destroy the machete swinging beasts in a matter of hours.
This also takes heat off of the US as it pertains to the Arab World, whose opinion seems to matter to their business partners, Bush and Cheney. It certainly doesn't matter to me.
Foehammer: Europe right now couldn't hurt a fly, not even limping fly.

Again, along with posting our comments on this great site, please consider faxing or e-mailing your State Senators and State Representatives and let them know how you feel about the immigration of Somalis and the immigration of Arabs to the United States.
Check out http://www.cairco.org/, it's an immigration reform website with some interesting statistics. Our immigration is our weakness. Please contact your Government officials, I cannot possibly do this by myself and expect to make an impact.

At one point in time before the Iraq war I was against any kind of interference by UK and US forces as I thought it a waste of taxpayers money fighting to save the lives of people who hate us and wouldn't do a thing to help us if things were the other way round. Then when I realised the enormous threat muslims posed to the west I sort of changed my mind , I thought that all the muslim countries that harbour terrorists , or that have corrupt dictatorships running them and/or WOMD that they are liable to use against us must be taken down, I not so keen on the idea of us paying for their rebuilding afterwards but really this also is essential in the aftermath of such conflicts, if only to ensure that another deadly regime does not replace the destroyed one.
Now we have our sights set on invasion of the Sudan ( which ,remember folks, was on Bush's original list of "rogue states"). Now after reading an article about the nation yesterday, I was reviled by the attrocities being commited on the black race of that nation by the arabs ( TAKE NOTE LIBERALS-- THIS IS RACIAL PERSECUTION AND GENOCIDE). Those of you thinking: "So what? They're all just muslims , let them kill each other" just take a moment to think properly, the blacks in Sudan were probably once tribes with their own religions until the arabs claimed the land for their very own effectively dhimmitizing it. These people don't know any different and were forced to become muslims, have no choice than to be muslims and would most likely be killed for not being muslims. They are being starved and terated like animals by the babarians that call themselves arabic muslim, we've got to help them, and if we do, if we destroy the brutal regime at the countries helm maybe we free the people from islam too.

Cold War group revived to fight terror
By David F. Brown
United Press International
Washington, DC, Jul. 20 (UPI) -- An organization originally created to combat communist expansion in the 1950s was reincarnated on Capitol Hill as another participant in the war against terrorism.
"We've got to constantly remind our fellow citizens and our allies around the world that this, like the Cold War, is a conflict that requires a commitment over a long period of time," he said. Kyl said it was particularly important to remain committed even in the face of setbacks or times when the enemy was perceived to be inactive.
Former CIA Director James Woolsey will serve as the committee's chairman. Before introducing Lieberman and Kyl, Woolsey said the war on terror is a war against extremist Islamist ideology, which he carefully distinguished from the religion of Islam as practiced by the vast majority of Muslims around the world.
This is good they are using some words other than terrorist?

A Soldier’s Mom and the Truth
Patrick Mallon
Friday, July 23, 2004
On Friday July 16, I spoke with a truly courageous and patriotic woman, Tamar Gilson, about her son Jason, a 23-year-old veteran of the war in Iraq. Jason was disabled while fighting in Iraq, and has since returned stateside.
On July 4, Jason marched in the annual Grand Old Fourth of July Celebration on Bainbridge Island, a rustic setting outside Seattle, Washington. He wore a blue blazer with his medals very clearly pinned on the outside. He also took a partisan risk by carrying a sign that said in bold letters: “Veterans for Bush.”
While walking the parade with his mother, his friends, three brothers and his father, he was chilled by the words he heard from the crowd:
“Murderer!”
“Baby killer!”
“Booooo!”
According to Robert L. Jamieson Jr., of the Seattle Post-Intelligencer, who wrote in his July 9 column “Veteran Gets Rude Welcome on Bainbridge,” "Think about the Seattle area -- Bainbridge Island to be exact -- and you think scenic views and liberal-minded tolerance. At least the killer views are still there."
"To understand why the reaction of strangers hurt so much," said Jamieson, "you must read what the young man had written in a letter from Iraq before he was disabled in an ambush:
"I really miss being in the states. Some of the American public have no idea how much freedom costs and who the people are that pay that awful price. I think sometimes people just see us as nameless and faceless and not really as humans. ... A good portion of us are actually scared that when we come home, for those of us who make it back, that there will be protesters waiting for us and that is scary."
After speaking with Rick Roberts, host of San Diego’s "Rick Roberts Show" (KFMB AM-760) on July 15, I discovered more about how terribly Jason Gilson had been treated, and decided to give Tamar Gilson a call to speak with her about this shameful episode.
When Mrs. Gilson answered the phone, and this is not an understatement, I felt invited into the living room of a truly loving and honest mom, a woman proud of her son and his achievements. She asked if I would listen to a letter she had composed, one she planned to send to every media outlet in the nation. I said “yes, gladly,” and listened, spellbound.
Here is her letter in its entirety:
United We Stand, Divided We Fall
I have had time to reflect upon the incident that transpired in the Fourth of July parade on Bainbridge Island and wish to write and convey to you my concerns.
I have read and pondered over the hundreds of e-mails sent to me and the article and columns written across the United States.
I find it fascinating that the Bremerton Sun newspaper is busy explaining why it didn’t cover the story right away, and the Bainbridge Island Chamber of Commerce is busy making statements such as, 'We regret that some have accused the chamber announcer of provoking negative comments towards a political group and possibly an Iraqi veteran,' and ‘We are sorry that harsh language, shouting and booing may have occurred during the parade.'
As I step back and reflect on the event, I am shaken to the core. I see the people involved with this issue so preoccupied with explaining and excusing their behavior and watching their backs that they can’t see the forest for the trees.
What concerns me the most is that many are missing the point. This story is bigger than what happened to my family or my disabled veteran son. This isn’t about what he said or she said. I accept that even I have been caught up for days in this type of thinking.
What transpired during Bainbridge Island’s Grand Old Fourth of July Parade is truly reflective of a state of mind and accepted mentality that has taken root in America.
The core issue is selfishness!
What ever happened to the ideal that “United we stand, divided we fall”?
Each of us needs to ask ourselves if what we want is more important than what is truly good and right for our country as a whole. Bainbridge Island is symptomatic of our nation’s mentality and immaturity. Almost no one will dispute that the majority of the attendants at the parade were booing as the Republicans walked by. So I am forced to ask: why?
This booing hurt our nation! It demonstrated to the world how divided our country is. By now our enemies all around the world have had a good laugh at our expense. Every time we show ourselves divided we make ourselves weaker as a nation.
Those who hollered the derogatory names and insults are certainly within their legal rights to do so. That's free speech. But if you think about it, one must ask: who made those rights possible for each of us in the first place?
Are our rights to voice our opinions more important than revealing to the world a mature, respectful and united America?
Every evil in the world begins with the attitude that “My will or my wants are more important than yours.” Ego and pride tell us that my rights, my thinking and my desires come first. History has proven that narcissism and self-importance are the downfalls of every fallen empire.
My father was willing to die for this country during World War II. Yet, I really don’t think many of us are even willing to live for and value our common purpose as a nation. Whatever happened to a shared spirit and acceptance of differences?
Talk is cheap! We all want to think of ourselves as tolerant, but as my mom used to say, the proof is in the pudding. There is a poem that I remember hearing as a young teen about a man crossing the road. It has stayed with me to this day:
Darling Danny died one day
While maintaining his right of way
His will was clear
His right was strong
But he’s just as dead
As if he’d been wrong.
“United we stand, divided we fall” is not an idle statement. If we as a people choose to be indifferent to the cold thoughtlessness that has taken root in our country, it will be our undoing.
America is great because our forefathers understood that no individual's rights outweigh what is best for the whole. The needs of the many truly do outweigh the wants of the few.
What worried me the most was a quote from Bremerton Sun columnist Steve Gardner who said on July 15: “We can expect plenty of the same partisans in communities across the country as our increasingly polarized electorate moves toward this fall’s election.”
I pray that this is neither a call to action nor a prediction on Mr. Gardner’s part, for if we cannot learn to accept each other's differences without degrading one another, every one of us who live in this great and free nation will lose.
God Bless America,
Tamar Gilson Bremerton, Washington

Military intervention in both Darfur, and in the southern Sudan, are not merely humanitarian in nature. But the humanitarian aspect would make it hard for Kofi Annan, the man who was in charge of U.N. Peacekeeping before and during the massacre of the Tutsis in Rwanda, and who deliberately prevented the U.N. troops there from acting to prevent or mitigage those massacres, as General Romeo Dalaire has testified, to oppose American action as the U.N. continues to dither -- and dither it will, because the Muslim lobby controls the U.N. (The focus of American efforts has been far too modest, limited only to vetoing -- if efforts to modify the language of the resolution fail --the most egregious of all the egregious anti-Israel resolutions which occupy, or indeed preoccupy, the U.N. at every level, and at every conference, no matter what the putative subject of that conference might be.
Nor could the E.U. properly object, though many of those in its bureacracy are terrified of doing anything but appease the Arab Muslim states. They are perfectly aware that Arab Muslims have been killing blacks, Christians in the south and rather easygoing, syncretistic Muslims in Darfur -- they just don't care. They will utter some words of outrage, but in the end, they simply will not take action that would be opposed by the Arab League.
And the Arab League itself? What could it do if 5,000 American troops, with airpower, went into Darfur and the southern Sudan, and declared that these areas were now being held, and the inhabitants would not now, or ever, be delivered back into the hands of those who have subjected them to pillage, mass rape, destruction of their homes and theft of their only sources of livelihood, and mass murder. No, the Americans will be there, and will stay, until a referendum can be held, both in the southern Sudan, and in Darfur.
Outrage will come from the Arab League. The hirelings of Saudi Arabia in Europe and in Washignton will scream, and all those who think that we must "do more to win over Muslims" (you know the usual suspects -- Edward J. Walker, Jr., Edward Djerijian, the notorious James Bamfrod, he of U.S.S. Liberty fame-- and al lthe others who have a stake in promoting the ludicrous notion that the root of all of our problems, all of the world's problems, with Islam come from that little affair, in that little strip of land, known as Israel) rather than in fact seek ways to make clear that we awre not going to permit, unopposed, continued aggression against black African Christians, and that we are quite capable not only of stopping what seems to be the unstoppalbe expansion of the dar al-Islam, but even reversing it.
Scenes of grateful black African faces surrounding those American soldiers will be quite a contrast to the sullen and even murderously hostile faces of Muslim Iraqis, who despite being saved from Saddam Hussein, and despite the vast American effort of building schools and roads, and repairing oilfields and electricity grids, show not the slightest gratitude whatsoever, but only whining (save for a few officials at the top) about how we have not yet turned Iraq into America, and what's taking us, and by the way, wake us (the Iraqis), when it's over.
And it would hearten black Christians now being persecuted and pressured in Nigeria, and elsewhere in West Africa, and even in Kenya and Tanzania (and in South Africa, Muslims in Capetown like to express their displeasure at Infidel ways by setting off bombs -- that too, is a sign of the internal Jihad and of demogrpahic conquest).
In Europe, or perhaps one should say in Occupied Europe, where the Vichy regime under Arab Muslim control, with its largely pliant mouthpieces (though even Chirac was forced by public opinion to draw the line at the hijab) -- Chirac and Dominique de Villepin, Chris Patten and Romano Prodi, Javier Solana and ...well, all those who have been promoting the idea that Europe is not a Christian or Judeo-Chrstiain civlization, but one that simply must recognize Islam as an equal partner, must do nothing to show a glimmer of recognition that the tenets of Islam are the problem and not American, or Western, attitudes or policies.
Farseeing and intellgent policy requires that oppoortunities be seized. There have been many. One that comes to mind was the threatened destruction of the Bamiyan Buddhas. It would have cost almost nothing for an American force to land, to surround those Buddhas, and to keep them protected from the Muslims of the Taliban --who wished to finish off these statutes (all statuary is an offense in Islam, unless the statues have been defaced and broken, as has recently been happening to statues -- Jesus and Mary found decapitated in Floing, in France, three statues in the Piazza del Popolo, one dating from Roman times, horrifically vandalized). And what would have been the result? Heartfelt gratidue among Buddhists, and among those who come out of Buddhist civlization -- even in supposedly Communist China -- throughout a great swath of the Asian East. The Americans -- saving the Buddhist heritage from destruction by the Muslims.
And art-lovers, who sometimes seem more distraught over a canvas than over the murder of innocents, would have to admit, secretly or openly, to their support for such a measure.
And then, a discussion would ensue, and it would necessarily have brought in the matter of Muslim destruction of tens of thousands of Hindu temples, and of Buddhist temples, and of Christian chruches throughout the Middle East and what was once Byzantium. And a certain subject would have been raised and brought, kicking and screaming, to the non-Muslim world's attention -- and every such occasion should be taken advantage of, because the war-without-end that is being waged by adherents of Islam against the entire non-Infidel world (and not against America, as the Walkers and Bamfords would have us believe, because of its supposedly "unconditional" support of Israel), will only be reduced to manageable levels if a sufficient number of Infidels, and their govenments, begin to study, and understand, the tenets of Islam, and the history of Muslim treatment of the non-Muslim peoples, and their artifacts, that have been conquered over the past 1350 years.
But the Bamiyan Buddhas were not protected, at so little potential cost, but allowed to be blown up.
In the Sudan, we now have another defining moment. And it is humans who are being murdered, not statues.
Will the occasion be seized, to protect millions of the unprotected who will almost certainly be subject to future rape, pillage, and murder as they have been in the past, and as the Islamic government in Khartoum fully believes accords with the tenets of Islam? Will this protection, a clear sign that the onward march of Islam can be checked, and will be checked (and if the Christians of Nigeria, led by the Ibos, try again for a free Biafra, nothing should be done to stop them, everything should be done to help them), manage to find its way into the skulls of Washington policymakers, who need to be far more various and clever in their seizing of such opportunities.
We missed out on being the heroes of Buddhist civilization. Will we also miss out on this opportunity to defend the black Africans now under assault -- as they have been, through the centuries of slaving and forced conversions, through the centuries?
Who could object to the saving of these lives? What lobby of apologists for Islam(and that lobby in the West is powerful), so used as it is to limiting discussion of the problem with the Muslm world to "Israel" -- a handy quick answer for the "why-do-they-hate-us" simpletons, who refuse to look beyond the United States at the world-wide Jihad, refuse to study Qur'an and hadith and sira, refuse to study the 1350 years history of subjugation of non-Muslims to the status of dhimmis under Muslim rule, and refuse, indeed, to look at reality, preferring intstead to find out the reasons for Muslim atitutdes by == well, by asking Arabs what they think. And of course they respond: "It's all because of Palestine " or, updated version, "because of Palestine, and Iraq, and Afghanistan." Did you realaly expect the Egyptians to say, for exsample, that "despite the $60 billion we've recdeived in aid from you, 98% of our people in the last public opinion poll say they hate America because, you see, it doesn't matter what you do for us -- you are Infidels, and you are standing in the way of the Islamic Jihad, against Israel and against all non-Infidel sovereigntites." No, that is unlikely to be the admission of any Arab spokesman -- now isn't it?
There are intelligent people in Washington. They exist in both parties. Why are these people not publicly analyzing the problem correctly? What is keeping them from doijng so? Why do they leave the stage, so often, to the same hirelings and islamisant sympathisers of Islam, who helped to create the atmosphere of unwariness, of naivete about the Saudis and other Muslims, and who were therefore important contributors -- possibly the most important -- to the success of the 9/11 attacks? Let us find out, let us list and number, those who have been recipients, over the past few decades, of direct and indirect Arab largesse, at academic Centers for "Christian-Muslim" Relations, at phony
and piously-named "Centers for the National Interest," e tutti quanti.
Meanwhile, all eyes on the Sudan. And all memories filled with the spectacle of those Bamiyan Buddhas, threatened, and then finally blown up, to the impoverishment of the entire world, which might have been so easily rescued by American forces, which would would earned gratitude even in, or perhaps especially in, such places as Korea, and Thailand, and China. We cannot keep missing these oportunities; we just can't.
What cowards and liars these Muslim zealots be.
In the Sudan they kill the black population ruthlessly rape and kill women and children and curse the “Crusaders” when they seek to help the innocents.
In the rest of the world, they sow the plague and pestilence of their hateful beliefs.
Logic and the Rule of Law are lost on these fools and reasonableness is something that does not exist in their bastardized cult. Their word is meaningless and honour beyond their comprehension.
Their mindless deference to a debased belief defies comprehension by anyone with an ounce of intelligence.
Funded by the oil revenues that provide a fortune they have not earned, they seek to bring the rest of the planet back to the stone-age with their blind allegiance to their despicable Allah and the fraud Mohammed.
Do not hate Islam, loathe it, treat it with the contempt it deserves and do not be blinded by the lie that it is a religion of peace - it is a cult of death and is totally undeserving of our tolerance or indulgence.
Toro
I'm afraid I must respectfully disagree on the subject of Sudan and Africa. I still hold by my opinion that direct military U.S. involvement in Africa would be perilous and Osama bin Laden would not hesitate in once again snaring our forces on that continent into traps that would uselessly cost American lives.
We have a target in our sights already, I should hope, and that would be Iran -- we must put special forces on the ground in Iran to ignite the revolution there before the Ayotollahs possess the nuclear weapons they are so close to using as leverage against the West.
Spreading thin into Africa, despite the humanitarian needs, is something we have done far too often and paid for far too dearly in the past decade and I once again say, let this be the responsibility of other nations. Looking for another photo-op for our troops will just backfire upon us like the reality of the ingrates in Iraq did.
I look for no false hopes of a gratitude from any nations on this planet any longer. Let us keep to the business of dismantling our enemies and not get into a quagmire amongst camel drivers and their starving victims in Sudan -- no matter how heart rending the pictures might be. We are not alone on this Earth, despite the wishes of the French, and other nations besides the U.S.A. have the means of taking action to protect innocents in Africa.
Foehammer,
I'd say your right, if you're talking about the US and UKs armies. Iran certainly needs dealing with next or their is going to be a man made disaster(ie-a nuclear one) of historic proportions, albeit one that could have been prevented. But we can't just sit around while these poor fuckers in Sudan get wasted , raped , pillaged, and starved to death not to mention being humiliated in front of the entire planet on the news while their dictators sit around plotting the next genocidal excursion.
I'm not saying we should be the ones to do it , (although it always does seem to be us riding in to the rescue)maybe China ought to get up off their asses for a change and intervene, they're always the ones bragging about their military might, and for christs sake they're part of the UN aren't they? So when was the last humanitarian mission they did to help a country in need > All they ever seem to do is condemn American and British military operatioins (Example-Kosovo, and Iraq).
Agree this is GENOCIDE but Sudan is a vast country
and troops could be dangerously overstretched
which would encourage Bin Laden to strike at America and the West.We can't afford to take on any more adversaries yet until Iraq is stabilised.
Cold reason must prevail over emotion to win this global war.Let us arm and covertly help the Rebels, practising Taqqiya like Khartoum govt.
Let the French take care of it, or the Germans, or some leftist arses armed with flowers and hugs.
It's not a wise thing to spread thin, especialy with this world going more nuts every day. Things will get worse. Just as well to hold position.
Besides, if Kerry gets in he'll let the UN tell America where to sent troops.

The Ayatollah Khomeini reputedly, famously, once declared that “there’s no ‘fun’ in Islam”.
But in its province of Darfur, the Sudanese Government’s giving its Arab Janjawid militiamen weapons and air-support (at least) for what tiny bit of FUN Moslems MAY indulge in, free of sin (which the Ayatollah couldn’t possibly've been unaware of) - i.e., engaging in the rapine, robbery, torture, arson, enslavement and murder of pursuing “el-Jihad el-Sagir”, the “Jihad of the Sword”! (- So NOT the struggle of the pen, the tongue, of proselytism, ultra-piety, polygamy, etc; called the “Greater Jihad”, while the armed method’s named the “Lesser Jihad”.)
Khartoum has rejected the threat of multilateral sanctions and the introduction of British and Australian forces into Darfur, saying that it’s “made an agreement with Mr Kofi Annan, the Secretary-General of the UN, and is proceeding in line with it”. This bland statement sounds horrendously sinister: a chilling, immaculate euphemism for GENOCIDE.
The press concedes that there’s a "humanitarian disaster shaping” there and the UN and the international NGOs are slowly concurring - without properly telling anybody HOW all this death and suffering might have arisen. There’s been coverage of the weather there in Darfur, increasing rain - could the “humanitarian catastrophe” have been caused by floods? Or drought (it’s a desert, after all)? Was there a big earthquake? A tidal wave? Severe fires? A plague of locusts?
That last one’s getting closer to the truth. This is almost a re-run of Rwanda (again featuring Kofi Annan), but instead of a ferocious spasm of intense, tribal, racist killing, as in Rwanda, Darfur’s a FULL CAMPAIGN of ethnic, racist mayhem – semi-clandestinely sponsored, for the past year at minimum, by the central government of the Sudan (sitting smugly today on the UN Human Rights Commission). It’s employing the Janjawid for GENOCIDE, one of the key things which the UN was first established to oppose - not to disgracefully ignore, as nowadays.
Amnesty International (!) reports that sometimes accompanying the Janjawid are “Hakawas”, groups of female Arab singers, who provide the mood music for the brutality and butchery, “on the ground”. Some sample lyrics: “You are gorillas/ You are black/ Your blood runs like water/ We take your goods/ We chase you from your homes/ Our cattle will eat on your land./ The power of Omar Hassan al-Bashir [President of the Sudan] belongs to the Arabs/ We will kill you till the end”. Does the old phrase “Hymns of Hate” sound familiar here?
