Both the US and Britain vying to put the hook-handed Abu Hamza on trial.
Perhaps we could make it an Olympic event.

Police say they have arrested a 47-year-old man Muslim cleric Abu Hamza al-Masri is spending a second day in police custody after being arrested on suspicion of terrorism offences.
Sorry to take the wind out of your sails, but Abu Hamza was already in Jail and was arrested on further charges while in custody awaiting extradition to the USA. Why did they do this? Well, the more cynical thinkers are already saying it was to stop him being extradited because the US has the death penalty, the charges brought against him now are breaches of UK law and they take precidence over the extradition. In other words he cannot now be extradited until after the British proceedings are completed, and if convicted until after he has served his sentence. They would rather have him alive and running his operations in the UK, than facing the music in the US.
I hope spicy pork chops are back on the menu.

Jim - Hopefully he'll develop a nasty habit of falling down stairs, as well. Kind of hard to break your fall with a hook for a hand.
What I still don’t understand is that what took the police so long. Why didn’t they charge him before? Everybody knew what he was up to, because he didn’t even hide it!!! It was all over the news papers, but the police did nothing. Why do they let these people get away with murder (or at least inciting murder among other things)? Tziona might be right, they could be worried about angering Muslims if they extradite him, and that’s a good way of avoiding it, without outright refusing his extradition to the US.

They actually did take his hooks (they could be used as weapons) and there was a big stink from muslims about how the UK police were trying to "embarass" him by taking his "hands"....maybe they could have replaced the hooks with feather dusters and he could have made himself useful.

Yesterday I took the No.4 train in New York.
Sitting across from me in the subway car was a fat liberal pig. She was wearing a tight T-shirt which read,across her flabby chest, in bold letters :
"MY BUSH WOULD MAKE A BETTER PRESIDENT"
Before exiting the subway I walked over to this fatty and advised her that fat liberal slobs like herself should refrain from wearing tight clothes and that there was a foul stench emenating from her "bush" such as the smell of dead rotting fish.
Needless to say she got quite upset and came running after me,luckly I escaped unharmed and continued on my journey.
A good way to drive Hamza crazy:
Since he has no hands and his hooks have been confiscated, make a necklace out of pork chops, hang it around his neck and watch him try to remove it.

When are we going to stop worrying about angering Moslems? Everything we do to keep them from taking over our countries angers them.
The whole hook thing is a sham. He could just wear an artificial hand (like most people who lost limbs would wear artificial ones and not hooks). Hooks went out of fashion with the pirates hundreds of years ago. So just give him a nice artificial hand, and he can stop crying. This is the same as the stupid pork chop business, crying about things even kids in the nursery wouldn't cry. If he is so sensitive how was he supposed to fight the infidels?
