Once you're up to speed, you might want to check out Robert Spencer's "Onward Muslim Soldiers". You owe it to yourself to be better informed.

Invading countries like Iraq and ( to a much lesser extent ) Afganistan is going to do nothing about Islams refusal to accept your Western Consumer Ideals as their own any more than you are willing to accept Islam as a way of life.
The frustating part of the gung-ho for war sentiment that flows on this site, is that the majority of Americans probably do not support this war, as the majority of Muslim's do not support violent terrorist tactics.
For the record, I am not American, I am not Muslim or Christian. I dont support terrosit activity ( neither Muslim or American ). I do not support the war in Iraq as it is not just. I have family members who fought 2 World Wars and I am very proud of them for that. I try and educate myself on issues that surround me.

I thought that you were very well educated until you made this fantastical statement. You are very right that the Military Complex in it's own entity may not be sinister and it is individual use of it that is, but to say that there is no one sinister in the White House right now is down right comical, and you have exposed your self for the Republican Robot that you are. Know I must ask you to educate yourself through reading or whatever means you wish and please rethink that claim.

Seems to me, anyone who uses it has thought that the US 'military-industrial complex' has always been run by sinister types, no matter who was in the White House.
Funny how it was Democrats for the majority of the Vietnam War, which is where I first began to hear the term used. Of course I was rather young then so I am not sure when it came into vogue... or whom by. My guess is communists, or worse, Birch Society types (who were a response to communists in the US).
I do NOT believe there is anyone sinister in the White House now. That is my opinion, no one told me to use it. I really hate jackasses sticking words in my mouth and thoughts in my mind when they haven't the slightest knowledge of me or my life.

Give you a break? Give ME a break!! What did I say that even mentioned Iraq?? NOTHING at all. In fact I dont agree with the Iraq war because I think it caused more problems than it solved.

Let me ask you this. If a muslim can and WILL be killed by other muslims if they choose to not be a muslim anymore (an apostate). Then how can you say the majority of muslims dont believe in "terrorist tactics." Isn't forcing people to accept an ideology against their will by using the fear of death called terrorism????

I would be surprised if Cyrus ever came back to this thread. Like KeithJoy, he is content to put words in people's mouths they didn't say, attribute (wrong-thinking) ideas to them that they don't have, make assumptions about whom they associate with, denigrate, demean and demonize anyone or group they disagree with... while providing No links to attempt to prove any of their assertions.
On top of which, when one Does answer their questions, as we have to KJ on several occasions, they just move on to the next thread and repeat their same inane assertions and questions, and then crow that we never respond.
