From AP:
LOS ANGELES A fund-raiser for an Islamic charity with alleged links to terrorism today testified he believes the donations were for humanitarian projects.Abdel-Jabbar Hamdan, who founded an Anaheim mosque, also told a judge in Los Angeles that he should be freed as he fights deportation.
Hamdan was arrested on immigration charges last month as authorities unsealed an indictment against the Richardson, Texas,-based Holy Land Foundation for Relief and Development.
Hamdan's detention has sparked protests by Southern California Muslims who see it as an unfair pressure tactic to get him to reveal information about Holy Land....
The American Civil Liberties Union is seeking Hamdan's release on bond.

what a lovely organization...
A very convenient answer. He has fourteen hundred years of knowing what the money was to be used for...
Case of the Left Hand not telling the Right Hand what it was doing,eh! Tell this to the Judge : let's hope he's not another Dhimmi Dimwit...
There was a quote from a Muslim/Islamic cleric/mullah stating “If we defeat the US, we can rule the world.” Now just how do they propose to do that. They know very well it can not be done by military means. So, very simple - do it from within. That is exactly what they are doing - using the freedoms of the US to accomplish their dominance. When they are questioned, they use the democracy of the country to make sure they have the right to their dominance. And the stupid ACLU is front and center to help them defeat the rights of the rest of the citizens and protect these criminals. The ACLU should be tried for treason.
Here goes:
1) faith
there is no god worthy of worship except allah and muhammad is his messenger.
2) prayer
salat is the name for the obligatory prayers which are performed five times a day, and are a direct link between the worshipper and allah.
3) the 'zakat'
one of the most important principles of islam is that all things belong to allah, and that wealth is therefore held by human beings in trust.
the prophet said: 'charity is a necessity for every muslim.
4) the fast
every year in the month of ramadan, all muslims fast from first light until sundown, abstaining from food, drink, and sexual relations.
5) pilgrimage (hajj)
the annual pilgrimage to makkah - the hajj - is an obligation only for those who are physically and financially able to perform it.
Another religion with endless commitments.
What American is really going to put up with all these obligations, except the ones that already need some kind of therapy. What are we really afraid of; I just can't imagine the average American kneeling toward mecca five times or more per day. Are we able to find reliable information on how many Americans are converting to Islam each year.
We can always count on the fifth colunm leftists of the ACLU to come to the aid of the Islamo-fascists.
How many American lives is the ACLU willing to sacrifice to uphold its civil liberties fundamentalism?
These self-appointed caretakers of civil liberties are a dispicable lot.
Today librarians cannot put filters on their computers to keep children from accessing pornography, as this presumably would violate somebody's First Amendment rights, and the ACLU whines over the rights of illegal immigrants, i.e. lawbreakers, even if they fit a terrorist profile.
The pc liberal principles of the ACLU just insure the likely hood of more dead and mangled Americans.
Civil liberties fundamentalists should be compelled to recognize publicly that their leftist thinking will bring about more desstruction of human life, but don't hold your breath since these socialist scum sympathize with the Islamists.
Typo: fifth "column" leftists
SFOD:
Yet they believe that by keeping these 5 pillars, they will gain entry into paradise with a dozen houris. They're delusional. How many Americans in their right mind are going to pray to an puny Arab moon deity?

Son of Infidel,
I've had many discussions recently about the startling simularities between muslims and servants of the dark lord (Satan Worshippers y'all).
When you think about the simple idea of yin and yang, eveything has an opposite, good versus evil, male and female, black and white,it's not hard to see that, whereas most religions teach a message of peace ;islam is the yang to that yin. It's followers taught to hate all that do not follow their ideology, and expected to follow it to the letter, never deviating from it's enforced lifestyle; taught to spawn more children (in exess)to corrupt their minds, taught and expected to treat women as sub-human and to wipe all other religions off the face of the planet. It seems crystal clear to me that islam is the cult of evil, and that it's followers while they may believe that they are part of a great religion, have been duped into being servants of the devil. I mean why do you think he chose his the inhabitants of the third world, more desperate, gullible, and primitive minded people, instead of the better educated, more prosperous people of the west?Simple:
Because they make ideal devil servants.
This is of course all just speculation , I am actually a total atheist, but this seems to be pretty accurate if you look at it from a religious perspective.
Rikki,
"I've had many discussions recently about the startling simularities between muslims and servants of the dark lord (Satan Worshippers y'all)".
We are in agreement on this.
"So this indicates that the Muslims worshiping this black meteor the Kaaba is actually Muslims in Satanic worship, of this Satanic object, this meteor. Islam is Satanic because it turns people into suicidal zombies. Three religions came out of the Middle East: Judaism, Christianity, and Islam. Judaism and Christianity are great religions which are divinely inspired. Islam is garbage, completely worthless and very destructive, that came from this mentally ill camel-driver Muhammed, who just copied and perverted beliefs and practices from Judaism and Christianity. He copied prayer but turned it into ritual head-banging into the floor 5 times a day, to result in brain-washing; note that this is done 5 times a day, 5 being a Satanic number, since the pentagon is a Satanic symbol, again indicating the Satanic symbolism in Islam. From Christianity Islam borrowed Jesus Christ, but has him as a destroyer of non-Muslims. From Arabian pagan religion, Islam used the Kaaba as a holy site".
They look so pathetic and worthless when grovelling on their knees, worshipping their master: the devil!!!
How can they expect us to have even the mildest desire to become such a servile zombie?
Aren't they embarressed that the rest of the world is laughing at these gullible slaves of hades?Aren't they aware how stupid and ridiculous they look, letting themselves sink to such degrading levels of inferiority?
Sorry Reza,Naseem,Mahmoud and any other muslim reading this who thinks islam is the shit but the idea of writhing in the dirt 5 times a day (along with all the rest of the obligatory islamic traditions ) for the amusement of Satan-allah; doesn't seem like my cup of tea, and like a total waste of time and life.
I worship nothing or no-one and I live my life how I want. I am my own master, and I only have love for living, breathing people (like my girl for example, maybe you muslim guys should try loving your women for a change rather than using and abusing them).
I've already pointed out numerous times that Reza identifies herself in her e-mail address as "rezareza666". Does ANYONE believe that this can be a mere coincidence (as she pathetically tried to assert over at LGF)? Just too damned convenient for me.
As I said before a mexican reporter was in Baggdad after 9/11 in a class room and the youth all spoke perfect spanish? on 2mc Have seen a lot of footage that show Irans spokes people all over in Cuba and south America and look at thursady and the chatching of them trying to get over our borders?

Common ground for Baptists and humanists can be found in the words of Thomas Jefferson:
Well aware that the opinions and beliefs of men depend not on their own will, but follow involuntarily the evidence proposed to their minds; that Almighty God hath created the mind free; and manifested his supreme will, that free it shall remain by making it altogether insusceptible of restraint; that all attempts to influence it by temporal punishments or burthens, or by civil incapacitations, tend only to beget habits of hypocrisy and meanness, and are a departure from the plan of the Holy author of our religion, who being Lord both of body and mind, yet chose not to propagate it by coercions on either, as was in his Almighty Power to do; but to extend it by its influence on reason alone;... [1]
If these words sound unfamiliar, there is a reason. When, in 1777, Jefferson wrote his Bill for Establishing Religious Freedom in Virginia, his preamble read as quoted above. The same bill was first introduced into the House of Delegates in 1779 where it died for lack of a third reading. It was not until 1785 that James Madison brought the bill to the floor once again and the Virginia General Assembly passed it in December, but not before striking the italicized words noted in the quotation above. In a letter of January 22, 1786, Madison explained this to Jefferson.
The preamble was sent up again from the H[ouse] of D[elegates] with one or two verbal alterations. As an amendment to these the Senate sent down a few others; which as they did not affect the substance though they somewhat defaced the composition, it was thought better to agree to than to run further risks, especially as it was getting late in the Session and the House growing thin. The enacting clauses past [sic] without a single alteration, and I flatter myself [to believe that we] have in this Country extinguished for ever the ambitious hope of making laws for the human mind. [2]
Why did the Senate tamper with the text? The editors of The Papers of James Madison note, "...Jefferson's philosophical preamble met opposition in both Houses." Madison saw their complaint as "frivolous" but rather than lose the bill he agreed to the deletion of "some of the more sweeping statements about the supremacy of reason...." [3] Of that bill, Baptist historian Robert Semple wrote in 1810: "The law for assessment did not pass; but, on the contrary an act passed explaining the nature of religious liberty. This law, so much admired ... was drawn by the venerable Mr. Thomas Jefferson." [4] The Baptist General Committee in Virginia had sent its own memorial on the subject to the General Assembly on August 13, 1785. It read in part, "...should the legislature assume the right of taxing the people for the support of the gospel, it will be destructive to religious liberty." [5] Actively involved in this activity was a young Baptist minister from the valley, John Leland.
When Madison, as a member of the Virginia General Assembly, became the leader of the opposition to the "assessment" bill, which would have provided state support for teachers of the Christian religion, he was supported by both separate and regular Baptists in the state. One of Madison's strongest supporters was John Leland of Orange County, an ardent advocate of religious freedom. Indeed, his commitment to freedom also led him to champion the passage of a Baptist General Committee resolution "[t]hat slavery is a violent deprivation of the rights of nature, and inconsistent with a republican government." [6]
Leland surfaced again in 1789 when James Madison, writing to George Washington concerning the recently adopted Bill of Rights, noted that "[o]ne of the principal leaders of the Baptists lately sent me word that the amendments had entirely satisfied the disaffected of his Sect, and that it would appear in their subsequent conduct." [7]
It was this series of events in history that led to a discussion with Paul Kurtz at a Mormon/humanist dialogue in Salt Lake City in 1993, where we decided to engage in a similar conference with Baptists in Richmond.

The ACLU seems pretty busy these days. I wonder if they are hiring.
CAIR and ACLU in bed together, wow this is disturbing. Is there an organization to fight the ACLU yet? CAIR is a known enemy. Pass this link onto everyone who should know.
