Copenhagen pupils will soon be able to learn Arabic at school, the local Education Committee decided on Wednesday.

A local cross-party majority has decided to offer a combination of Danish and Arabic in Copenhagen schools although the initiative is being opposed by the Social Democrats, the Conservatives and the Danish People's Party.
