I agree with Jim and Gary. The mullahs appear to believe that using a full-scale missile attack on Israel with (I assume) conventional warheads would not prompt a probable swift counter attack with possible unconventional warheads. Madness, indeed.

Here's hoping you're right, but it's a bit too out of the realms of reality for me to swallow.

As for taking out Iran, well its not THAT urgent at the moment. Saudi Arabia is a much bigger problem, it mightnt have nukes but its full of Islamic wackos, fruitcakes etc and dishes out money to Islamic causes time after time. And dont forget the Civilised world needs to be on standby incase Pakistan goes into meltdown (eg if Mussharaf is assassinated). They have nukes and a plethora of mad mullahs and dodgy pro-Islamic figures (most of them in their ISI (their version of the CIA)) who would just love to step in and hand out nukes to the rest of the Islamic world.
I dunno if Iran will ever get Nukes. Its one of the most "anti Zionist" Islamic regiemes so I doubt Sharon would let it happen.
Part of me thinks we all acted a bit too soon in the 1990s and should have let Saddam take out more of Kuwait and some of Saudi Arabia before we did Desert Storm. At least then these miserable arabs might have been a bit more greatfull.
