Iraq urges Christians to return from exile

More on Iraqi Christians from the Washington Times:

Thousands of Christians were chased out of Iraq by radical Muslims but some of them are returning to Kurdish-controlled areas in the north, Iraq's designated ambassador to the Vatican said yesterday.

NEVER TRUST A MOSLEM

Way OFF-TOPIC, but.... This subject looks to’ve effectively dropped from the News over the week; it ought NOT to be neglected on this site!

The mass-murderous Arab Government of the Sudan’s Foreign Minister said yesterday that his Administration’s been co-operating closely with the UN over the “humanitarian difficulties” in its Province of Darfur, quoting a UN spokesman’s reference to Khartoum’s “progress” there.

But another Sudanese Minister, when asked if his ruling clique would indeed be able to confine and disarm the marauding Janjawid genocidists/Jihadis in the brief three days remaining of the UN’s deadline, calmly answered, bluntly, “We’re not considering it”.

A couple of reports from NGOs’d put the second Minister cited as tuned in better to events on the ground than the FM, or the UN, since they tell of the Janjawid REMAINING on the rampage, their bases intact, no shortages or disruptions of fuel (most of them ride round in pick-up trucks, with few nowadays aboard camels or on horseback), guns, ammo or supplies in general.

These circumstances COULD NOT exist if the Sudanese Govt was truly complying with the UN’s request: that the Janjawid be restricted to their camps, disarmed and demobbed. In fact, the régime has no intention whatsoever of conforming to the UN’s solicitations - to the contrary, it seeks to fully finish off its campaign of Genocide/Jihad in Darfur, as a top priority, aware that the chances of it can getting away with its plans, at this juncture, are pretty good.

The contemporary “automatic majority” of the UN (the aggregated countries of the Arab League & Organization of Islamic Conferences, the Non Aligned Movement, the new African Union and, on this particular item, much of the appeasement-happy EU), en bloc, for a variety of their individual - hypocritical - “reasons”, on a number of different geopolitical levels, is pleased to back Sudan’s Arabs’ ONGOING, deliberate, racist drive to wipe out Darfur’s black “mawalis” (called “IDP”s in the prevailing “UN-Speak”, “Internally Dispaced Persons”).

Institutionally, the UN itself’s delighted to receive a nifty opportunity from the “international community” to totally DEFER on addressing this latest, gross circumvention of its own Core Principles: it’s recently been greatly consumed with avoiding the addition to its many other problems of “another Rwanda” in Darfur. - That is, it’s not at all worried about stopping the butchery there, no, but instead, most anxious to elude any BAD PUBLICITY sheeting home to the UN over it, by… yes, baldly PRETENDING that it’s not taking place!

This is why, about a fortnight ago, the UN fairly raced to ram through the adoption of the Arab League, AU and EU Ad Hoc Reports, which all flatly DENIED the practice of any Genocide in Sudan (though accepting that there were some “humanitarian anomalies” there).

When the world’s eyes are averted once more, Khartoum’s itching to send its antique Airforce back into the skies over Darfur, to provide air-cover again for the ravaging Janjawid killers - ferrying personnel and materiél forward, spotting “targets” and bombing “mawali” villages (as they’d been doing routinely for a year) and, by accounts, strafing refugee-columns.

(These bastards fairly DESERVE to come up against the flying aces of the USAF!)

AAARGH!!

Apologies for inadvertent double-posting!

HGII, never mind. The post was worth it though. World silence about the Darfur massacres are certainly deafening. When the Serbs and Croats were taking on Bosnian mussies, teh UN and the EU in whose backyard the ethnic cleansing was happening had at least imposed sanctions. It was only when the UN led NATO forces in did the killing stop. Will the EU be willing to send in NATO troops (in a symbolic sense coz the US doesn't really need EU help in milkitary matters outside the EU theatre) to stop the mayhem in Darfur?

The Darfur tragedy is yet another example of Arab expansionism. Where is the muslim outcry concerning muslims slaughtering muslims?

There is no outcry from the Arab world because Islam was and still is an Arab religion.

The Arabic (bolstered by Muhammaden sanction) mindset is that black Africans are indeed inferior and subject to enslavement.

The myth of Islamic toleration is exposed once again. Why is the rest of mankind so excepting?
