A terror plot to detonate a bomb inside a Tube tunnel beneath the Thames has been uncovered by MI5 chiefs, it was reported yesterday.The explosion would pierce the bed of the river, leaving tens of thousands of rush- hour commuters to be drowned or trampled underfoot in the panic as people tried to flee.
Blueprints for an attack on the Underground and maps of the tunnels were reported to have been discovered at an al- Qaeda training camp in Afghanistan, a Sunday newspaper reported. It is the latest in a series of terror scares.

I have to say I am grateful that I was not born into Islam. It is beyond me how people can plan and then execute - or attempt to execute - such evil. To plan such a horror is so wrong there are not enough words to suffice. The only thing worse is to take pleasure in hearing about such a thing. Sadly, this is something that the Muslims have not yet learned after 1300 years of rampant murder. :-(

If this disgusting and heinous plot was actually carried out, unfortunately I doubt it would wake up too many more people to the danger and evil of Islam. Traveling on Bay Area Rapid transit (BART) to work in San Francisco every day, it's impossible not to think about this happening here. Our "tube" runs under San Francisco Bay from Oakland to SF for 3+ miles at a depth of 135 below the surface. At any one time there are 2, maybe 3, 10-car trains in the tube. When the trains are packed during commute times, there are thousands of people in transit in the tube, under the bay. I have heard nothing from BART about what security plans they have in place, if any. We are pretty complacent here on the West Coast, nothing has happened here yet, but not because there aren't plenty of opportunities.
You know, you can replace the words "islam" or "muslim" in most of these posts with "nigger" or "kike", and you'd get the exact same arguments westerners have used for centuries to oppress the swarthy other. He said, ‘This sword of Abd Allah killed him. I can see the marks left by bones on it.’”

True. And no one denies it. Now, you tell us what we could - not should - have done. We were coming out of a depression. We were politically isolationist. We had a relatively small, poorly equipped army. And the attention of our navy was focused on the Pacific. The British also knew, and they were MUCH closer. Tell me what they did.
Now, look at what was happening in Europe. Stalin had just purged (executed) over 90% of the Soviet officer corps. That King of Appeasers, Chamberlain - your Chamberlain - had, if not given, let Hitler take what he wanted. And the French miltary, when confronted with a comparably equipped, numerically inferior German force, collapsed, resulting in the Germans overrunning two third's of France in six weeks.
