A story in the Sunday Herald (thanks to Teri) about a new series of weepies about how bad it is for Muslims in the UK today makes a curious statement:
The film suggests that paranoia about Islam, racism and heavy-handed treatment by police encourage isolation and extremism. It was written by Simon Beaufoy, screenwriter of The Fully Monty, and tells of a young woman whose Pakistani husband is accused of being a terrorist and is imprisoned.Glasgow-based Glenaan said: “We went around the country asking whether the then-unthinkable could happen: could Britain produce a suicide bomber? The 400 stories have been condensed into one family representing a community imploding under the pressure.
“As anti-terrorism legislation is made stricter, with an already-disenfanchised British Asian community, we could be in danger of producing more Osama bin Ladens. Islamophobia, mistrust and fear are putting an immense pressure on this community .”
All right. Let me get this straight, please. Anti-terror legislation produces Osamas? So then an absence of anti-terror legislation will make those Osamas disappear?
If we don't do anything about terrorism, we won't have any terrorism to do anything about?
This is crazy thinking, of course, and its underlying assumption is that there actually is no terrorism. It is all just a reaction to the evils of the West. It's the same kind of thinking, found among the Left as well as the Right, that if we would just stop bothering Muslims so much -- over Israel, or Iraq, or whatever -- then we would have no problem with them.
Such a view shows no awareness of the fact that doctrines like this are being taught all over the Islamic world:

And who is better in judgement than Allah for a people who have firm faith"[5:50].The foremost duty of Islam is to depose Jahiliyyah from the leadership of man, with the intention of raising human beings to that high position which Allah has chosen for him.
The speaker is the leading radical Muslim theorist Sayyid Qutb. can you beleive the stupidity?? The Isolation is caused by their bloody religion you dorks.....Bosnia is a classic example.....and so is every other nation on this bloody earth.
They have been treated like any other ethnic group........except the others seem to have moved on with their lives..Muslims will NOT be satisfied untill they get what they want in total and that is not just their rights...but OUR rights as well.

Until we see millions of Muslims out on the street demonstrating again Islamist atrocities and putting the blame fairly and squarely on the indoctrinations of the koran, we'll know that they'll remain in constant denial.
Just as this film clearly demonstrates - it's everyone's fault but theirs.
Of course anti-terorism legislation produces jihad warriors. Instead Britain should capitualte and make terrorism unnecessary. Then they can be dhimmis.
This is an art film, previewed at the leading British art festival. To say that many of the participants are sure to be dhimmies would be an insult to honest toilers prepared to look the other way for the sake of quiet life. This work of art (as described) sounds like it comes from the self-flagellation wing of dhimmitude.
Best of all though, the film's writer authored "the Full Monty", a film about male "dhimmitude" in the face of unemployment and a family law regime powered by militant feminism.
His solution to the men's problem was? Strip off, and point the privates at the world. Some revolution! But maybe that's progress of a kind. For an earlier generation of radical film makers, nothing less than a row of Kalashnikovs would have done the job.

It's time to stop seeing these incidents as some misguided effort by innocent do-gooders.
This propaganda has the direct effect of de-moralizing and confusing western societies.

This is a classic example of claiming victim status and at the same time issueing a murderous threat. This is typical of Islamists, and this Full Monty has become a Full Dhimmi.
Muslims in Britian are given far more attention then any other religious or ethnic group. I wonder if Sikhs or Hindus, or for that matter Anglicans, get as much attention from the Home Secretay or the PM, as do Muslims. In addition, I believe there are two MPs who are Muslims. It is the nature of Muslims, that they are required by Allah to favour Muslims over others. It would be surprising if these two MPs were not doing so.
If it is soooooooo bad for muslims in the UK (or for that matter anywhere else)...the obvious solution is for them to go and live in an islamic country...so simple...why dont they then...I think the answer to that is obvious too...cant spread your vile islam from home. A person who immigrates (such as I have done) to another country MUST respect the laws and traditions of that country, not to say that you must leave all your own traditions, but you certainly shouldn't expect your newly adopted country to implement YOUR traditions on the native people. Before I immigrated I was given booklets outlining the criminal code and certain laws, so there is no way the muslims immigrating to Canada did not know what the local laws are...implimenting sharia is one of the steps they are taking to turn Canada into an islamic state, unfortuantly the governement is either too blind or too greedy for islamic votes to notice or care.
Since they thought 9/11 was so funny, so just, so necessary, and such a good way to get the world to see them in a serious light and furthermore to take islam into a plane of thought from which it could never descend (pun intended.)
let me say that I feel that anyone who could attempt to minimise this event or try to dismiss it like some people have the Holocaust, will find a withering blend of derision and scorn searing at them.

The UK has bent over backwards to please MUSLIMS
Here in the U.S., there are so many different ethnic groups that I can't begin to count them all. All of them have been here longer and have deeper roots that the Islamic "community." They mind their own business, assimilate, and become mainstream American citizens. The muslims are unlike any other group of American immigrants. They come here and flock to established, secluded, segregated Islamic enclaves that resemble their native habitats. They have no intention of assimilating; they exploit our economic opportunities and contribute nothing to our society. The number of Islamic advocacy groups is highly disproportionate to the muslim population. Why do so few people need so much support and protection from the American government and American citizens? If muslims are persecuted in America, why do they continue invading our country en masse? In my opinion, the door should have been slammed to muslim immigration long before 9-11, but certainly slammed and dead-bolted after 9-11.
I am sick of muslims. I am sick of their arrogance, their demands, their whining, complaining, denial, lies and propaganda, proselytization, and constant claims of victimization. I am sick of their hijabs, burquas, veils, and other assorted incongruous garb. I am sick of their twisted, violent religion, their attitudes and claims of moral superiorty. UK Immigration tops a million per year
I have come across an alarming statistic which I believe should be brought to the attention of the public, or at least the blogosphere. That is that the net immigration rate to the UK for the year 2002, the last year for which data are publicly available (here) is close to a million. If gross inward migration is considered, it is much higher.
The statistics do not make clear what proportion of the total is muslim, although the data are broken down by geographical region in the main body of the document.
The relevant data can be found on p101 of the above document, and the values for 2002 are as follows: (+ indicates inward migration, figures are in thousands)
All Nationalities: +153.4
British: -91.1
Non-British: +244.5
All of these figures are significantly less than a million. However, when the following story, found in the daily telegraph and published on their website on 10th June 2004 is considered, the figures become much more alarming:

Perhaps the reason we are being so accommodating to the muslim community in the UK is that we simply have no choice. There are so many of them now, and they are so well organized at every level of society that the indigenous population couldn't win the fight, or the fight would result in the near total destruction of our infrastructure.
