Valley Muslim leaders met Tuesday with FBI officials for a bridge-building meeting, but members of the Middle Eastern community remain frustrated over what they perceive as ethnic and religious profiling by counter-intelligence agents."There's a lack of trust," said Omar Shahin, imam at the Islamic Community Center of the East Valley. "We have to start building the trust - building the bridges.
"We would like to know what the FBI wants, and we will give it to them . . . We live in this country, and we are concerned about the security of this country."
Shahin and other Muslims who attended the closed-door meeting at Arizona State University's downtown Phoenix campus said they were encouraged by FBI overtures, but not entirely satisfied. Since the Sept. 11, 2001 attacks, they said, they have been upset about interrogation methods employed by some federal agents, and about suspicious delays with immigration paperwork for Muslims.
"We came to this country like others, to enjoy freedom," said Shahin. "We are not feeling secure anymore. So we shared our concerns with the FBI."
The meeting was convened just weeks after FBI headquarters in Washington, D.C., confirmed the launch of a new round of intelligence-gathering interviews - primarily directed at Middle Easterners.

Mr. Shahin states the he and other muslims are "concerned" about national security...yet they somehow feel that the INS is taking too long hurrying muslims into the country..hmmm..seems like Mr. Shahin is LYING...if anything the INS is being too QUICK letting in the trash...wait till the suicide bombings start over here in malls and restaurants like is happening in Israel...it is then that Mr. Shahin and his fellow muzzies should be CONCERNED...for their own safety that is.
Did allah not prescibe that muslims should live under sharia law...and nothing else?? If so then why would a true muslim want to live in an infidel land where they are subject to man made inidel laws...does this not make them worry about their free ticket to the virgin laden, little servant boy buggering, x-rated party waiting for them in the afterlife...maybe not living as allah prescribed cancels that smut fest out...
If the muslim community REALLY wanted to help get rid of the trash...they would look within their own communities and mosques and turn in any muslim that preaches death to infidels or is funding or supporting terror groups in any way...they claim to be a close knit community...if that is true then certainly SOMEONE would know what abdul or mohammad is REALLY up to...but a muslim would not snitch on another muslim now would they...so they can be of little or no help to the FBI

I have an Italian friend who sums up the deafening silence this way:
"In my neighborhood, we weren't in the Mafia, but we all knew who was."
It doesn't play that fear among the community keeps the silence; anonymous notes will be fine and totally untraceable. Just drop a line to the local FBI that says Mr. X has a stockpile of terrorist materials at the corner of X and X. I'm sure that the FBI will be most appreciative, and your brothers will never know. If you prefer profiling and fear from all sides, keep silent.

OK, here's how we solve the problem: from now on, only people who wear coffee filters, diapers or fanbelts on their heads, or people who buy one-way tickets with cash, or believe that slavery and beating their wives is OK, or believe that polygamy is acceptable, or that propagation of a political/social/economic/cultural ideology parading as a "religion" by war is OK, or that the Universal Declaration of Human Rights is bogus, shall be subject to "profiling". That way we won't have to worry about "ethnic" or "religious" profiling trampling on any peaceful non-threatening law abiding people.
Why should the FBI trust Muslims when they have freely admitted that their loyalties are to Islam first, country second? They should not be trusted, for safety's sake.
Yeah, ethnic and religious profiling is wrong. Because you know, like, for every act of murder, terror and mayhem by a Muslim, there's at least ten by Buddhists, Taoists, Mormons, Scientologists and Fundamentalist Christians.

On a more serious note, even as Muslims are being arrested, they find a way to increase their profile. It seems, now they would like to have a presence in the FBI. No other group behaves this way. I just cannot imagine that new Chinese immigrants entering the US, make a mental note that they need to build bridges with the FBI as a priority. With Muslims, it is always how to increase their influence in a non-muslim society, to subvert it and eventually to take it over.
There may be only drastic solutions that can save our civilisation from eventual death. We may not like it, but there may not be other options. Something to think about.

If another 9/11 will happen,the left and the liberal medial will blame it on Bush,the invasion of Iraq,the friendship with Israel,the alienation of muslim nations,etc....and the muslims in the US will again get away with it.

Yes, that is true adela. Nobody believed Hitler when he wrote out his plan for conquest in Mein Kampf and few in the west want to believe the jihadi's plan for subjugating the world to Islam when reading the Koran. It seems we don't learn much from history do we?
