In the world of John Esposito and Karen Armstrong, no intervention by "infidels" would be necessary: Islamic states would be ready to clean up the mess in Sudan in the name of the peace and tolerance taught by Islam. So stories like this one show that the world of John Esposito and Karen Armstrong is the world of fantasy, not of reality. From the Telegraph:
Arab militiamen who have brought terror to western Sudan are being trained at secret camps to launch a campaign of guerrilla warfare if British troops or other foreign "infidels" are deployed on a peacekeeping operation.The military instruction from Sudanese army officers is part of Khartoum's clandestine efforts to integrate the Janjaweed militia into paramilitary security forces in Darfur.
Camel-riding fighters have boasted to local people that they are preparing to fight any "invaders" sent to restore order to a region where an estimated 50,000 black Africans have been killed and more than one million forced from their homes in a year-long frenzy of ethnic cleansing.
"They say that they will fight the infidels just as the mujahideen in Iraq are doing. Iraq is their inspiration," said a resident of Kass, a south Darfur market town surrounded by dozens of abandoned and burnt "ghost" villages after a year of Janjaweed attacks.
What can one say about the accolades accorded to Esposito and Armstrong? The fawning obsequiousness that journalists bestow on them. These writers who, like Voltaire's Candide, want to believe that this is "the best of all possible worlds" as evil, corruption and decadence mount, pile up, higher and higher to eventually fall over in a putrid avalanche and sweep these ostriches with their heads in the sand into the dustbin of history.
What right have these loathsome apologists to spew their noxious thoughts to the world, to delude the public with their rose-colored views? They shall answer to history. They shall be a footnote in a dusty encyclopedia somewhere. "And as to the dedicated Islamic apologists, Esposito and Armstrong, after the second, devastating terrorist attack on the United States, which claimed the lives of over 7000 people, their optimistic views of Islam were quickly superceded in the public mind by the more realistic views of writers like Robert Spencer and Daniel Pipes."
Esposito and Armstrong - you will be remembered only to be despised.
The problem us... the brits and other 'invaders' shoot back - and have bigger guns.
And the mujahideen in Iraq are being slaughtered. I think the current ratio is in the neighborhood of 100:1. Some inspiration....
A literal genocide is in process in the Sudan, and scholars like Esposito and Armstrong are complicit, guilty of helping it along: morally their offense is far more grave than Holocaust denial (a common opinion among those supporting the Janjaweed militia like Arab politicians, imams, Islamic apologists...by the way...), and Holocaust denial, in the United States at least, is still a career endangering offense for academics, thank God: it is analogous to a teacher, a scholar, a so-called expert in 'German culture' in the 1940s calling for negotiations with Hitler while millions burned in the ovens.
I am simply sick. I cannot believe these educated people can live in their own skins.
May they be haunted by the cries of hundreds of thousand of African babies, murdered in the name of Jihad.
Off topic again...but the last time I posted at Jihad Watch about an outrageous picture in a BBC story (the black flag of Jihad against the shining sun in the sky), the picture was actually changed.
Take a look at this story about Najaf. Nothing but apologetics for Sadr: he is quoted under a picture of children looking at an American tank, and 'regret' from the Iraqi government, and an opinion from Al Jazeera.
Message: the Americans are murdering invaders and the root cause of the violence in Najaf: anti-American vilification and radical Islamic promotion: 'they have a just cause...'. Jihad and Islamic opposition to the political process is not even mentioned...it is not even 'imaginable' from what is presented.
The BBC is so far off over the edge. Now, with real threats to the British public everyday by folks who believe essentially the same things as Sadr, something must happen in Britain. In my opinion, the BBC, with stories like this, put British lives at risk. There should be a revolution in Britain against the BBC. Something must give. This must stop. Here it is. I agree...we should go into Sudan. Give our high sounding words more meaning.
I am never an advocate for war-but without war there can be no peace-the view as Iraq being inspiration towards Sudan is just more evidence of Islam's attempt to assimilate the rest of the world into their evil religion through submission and the extermination of other religions. The only choice is to invade Sudan, with the backing of other nations and stop what is going on because it will only continue and soon spread until all of Africa is Muslim.

I would compare this move to having an ace in the hole.As the domino's start to fall we pull in another 70,000 troops(talk about kicking them while their down)and start the FINAL phase of operation DOOM.

A number of things have been changed in this article since I posted the link. The title, the quote from Sadr, the picture of the tank and the kids...and other stuff in the text as well.
Might be coincidence...but that's the second time after a post on Jihad Watch about over-the-top BBC, 'pro Jihad' reporting that an article was changed within 12 hours or so.

The notion that Muslims/Arabs could and should fix this mess in Sudan is laughable. Western nations have to intervene because a failure to act now will simply embolden the Muslims to slaughter other grops in other nations. Sudan could very easily be France in 30 years. At some point everyone in the western world will have to face up to the reality that we are at war with Islam.
