Prosecution lawyers are to be sent on courses to learn about Islam.The training will be aimed at Crown Prosecution Service lawyers who handle "significant cases" involving Muslim defendants, such as terrorism trials.
Lawyers who handle racist or religiously-motivated crimes will also be invited on the five-day, classroom-based programme.
Staff in up to six areas of the country with the largest Muslim populations will be asked to take part in the intensive courses, which will be run by consultants hired by the CPS....
"The aim of the training is to help these staff have a better appreciation and understanding of the Muslim community and Muslim faith to help them have a better appreciation of the context of the cases and policies they deal with," she said.
"It will cover a range of issues such as the structure of the Muslim faith in the UK, the basic tenets and practices of the Muslim faith and issues such as discrimination and disadvantage which affect the community."
If they learn about what the Qur'an and Hadith really say about jihad, and how modern radicals use these verses to gain recruits, this might be worthwhile. But I doubt that's what will happen in these classes.
Why do lawyers need to better understand Islam??
If Muslims were normal law abiding citizens like the rest of the human race, lawyers would only need to know the laws of the land and how they are applied to every citizen.
Is this an admission then that Muslims are fundamental troublemakers because of their religion??
If these classes are taught by Muslims, they should be filmed in their entirety, and reviewed by a panel of experts, not apologists, preferably ex-Muslims, who will be able to identify, and note, the repetitive use of taqiyya or kitman, and the precise lines of deception which are employed.
Indeed, such filmed sessions could be put to use in training the police and government spokesmen and others who deal with Islamic matters routinely, including those Christian clergy not quite so willing to roll over and play dead, like the Archbishop of Canterbury, for the sake of a "dialogue" of the deaf, or like the Rev. Stephen Sizer, promoter of the Marcionist heresy that the Muslims believe will help to completely split Christiantiy from its Old Testament roots, and hence from Judaism.
An entire series of films could be used in training sessions, in which every cliche -- from the "abrahamic faiths" to the "we revere Jesus" (yes, the Muslim Jesus, not the false "Christian" Jesus) and "Moses" (not the false "Jewish" Moses, but the Muslim Moses), to the way that verses that have been abrogated, or interpreted quite narrowly (e.g. "there is no compulsion in religion"), are given prominence. And of course, Quran 9:29 deserves a special session of its own.
We are innoculated against rabies. Why do we not help to innoculate ourselves, our children, and our societies against Islam as well? Who among us would be glad to hear of a relative who had embraced Islam? Who among us is delighted to find the tongue-tied politician who reveals, with every word, that he hasn't a clue as to what the problem is with the belief-system of Islam, and so must rely on the notion of a "handful of extremists." Well, what texts do the "extremists" rely on -- and what texts do the so-called "Muslim moderates rely on"? Let us get it all out, out into the air, so it can be discussed -- without fear, or favor.
Request for our many UK posters: I've heard rumors of an article published in The Mail on Sunday this Sunday last which reported that "British" Muslim doctors employed by the UK's National Health Service were found to be refusing to treat individuals with sexually transmitted diseases.
The article is not posted online -- can one of you be so kind as to obtain a copy of the article and type it into the comments section?

Leading Muslims have been touring Midland medical schools to convince students they must not let their faith get in the way of treating patients. Officials from the Muslim Council of Britain have visited the universities of Birmingham and Warwick as part of a UK-wide tour following concerns some conservative GPs have refused to treat patients with sexually transmitted infections claiming it goes against the teachings of the Koran.
This is so ridiculous and a carrot by British politicians to get Muslim votes.How come no other

Equal treatment under the law refutes the weight of any religious law. Thus, Muslims are demanding and getting special treatment. Why is the British population not up in arms and demanding the end of discrimination against them?

I think if there is a country that is more deserving for Islamic takeover, it would have to be the U.K.
