We've come a long way from "Der Fuhrer's Face" and Hitler cuspidors. Can you imagine what the reaction would have been if a German-American group had protested "Der Fuhrer's Face" on the grounds that it was anti-German? But it is evidently no longer acceptable to express contempt for mass murderers. A paintball game in which players take aim at Saddam Hussein and Osama bin Laden is being criticized as anti-Arab.
But wait a minute. I thought those guys represented only a tiny minority of extremists whose views and actions were abhorrent to the vast majority of peaceful Muslims. If one believes the rhetoric that groups like the American Arab Anti-Discrimination Committee purvey most of the time, one would think that Arabs would be lining up to play this game. By playing both sides of matters like these, the ADC leaves us with the impression that Saddam and Osama mean more to them than they ordinarily let on.

WILDWOOD, N.J. -- A live-target paintball game in which patrons take aim at runners dressed as Saddam Hussein and Osama bin Laden has drawn fire from critics who say the game is tasteless and can only encourage violence against Arabs."We don't need any more games that would encourage people to hate Arabs or kill them," said Aref Assaf, president of the New Jersey Chapter of American Arab Anti-Discrimination Committee.
Assaf has called on local officials to shut the game down, which he considers hate speech. He also wants Wildwood visitors to boycott it.
The game, known as "Wack the Iraq" _ not Iraqi _ has been on the board walk in Wildwood for at least a year, but has only recently drawn complaints, said Mayor Ernie Troiano Jr.
Troiano agrees the game is tasteless but said it was no more likely to encourage violence than many popular video games. He also said the city was powerless to shut the game down because of the operator's free speech rights.
"You go out and tell him that he can't do this, you're going to have a lawsuit that you cannot win," Troiano said.
That remains to be seen, in these hyper-PC times.
Since Mr Assaf is so keen on banning things which encourage hatred and murder, will he be pressing for the Koran, which is full of incitement to hatred and murder, to be banned as well?
The Arabs keep very quiet when there are computer games out there where Arab terrorists kill Israelis and Sharon is one of the main targets!
As always with the Arabs, it's a case of "do as I say, but not as I do"!
Italians, like Mayor Troiano live with the stereotype of mafiosos and gangsters. If the Arabs want to change their stereotype, they should stop being terrorists and focus on rug weaving...Wait a minute, those are the Turks and Persians who do that. Remind me again, what are Arabs good for?
We're talking New Jersey, which has become a Liberal haven. One can only hope the judge they come up against was Not appointed by Clinton or some other Leftist. But I won't hold my breath.
(Of course, some times thing turn out right. At least one of the Supreme Court justices was supposed to be Liberal- but he sure doesn't write that way!)
For those who went to the link with the remembered lyrics of the Spike Jones song, I urge you, in singing the song aloud to yourself (I had the record as a child, so know how it should sound) you must sing it in a kind of high-pitched hysterical (i.e. Hitleroid) voice, and after each "Heil" you must stick your tongue out and give (make?) a raspberry. But the high pitch and the hysteria are important.

Things sure have changed. In the "good old days," when the Iranians held American hostages, after taking over the American embassy, there was a song out about "sh*t-eatin' Shi'ites." Also there were targets for pistol shooting with the face of the Ayatollah Khomeini. Nobody complained. The Islamics kept a low profile. On the down side, of course, was Jimmy Carter, a do-gooder who didn't know what to do (when what had to be done wouldn't be good for the Islamic enemies of the US).
The American people still are forbidden to know who their enemy is. It isn't "bad" Islam, the fundamentalists who "have hijacked a great religion." It is Islam, and it all is laid out in the Koran. Of course, only expurgated versions are allowed to be printed and distributed to American educators. These school teachers may not be stupid, but they are naive, gullible, and wittingly or unwittingly listing to the liberal left. The last-mentioned disability is due to the indoctrination at American campuses.
Liberals are always on the side of the underdog, and the Moslems know how to play that role all too well. Pretending to be victims of the "Crusaders" and "Jews," they mewl to gain the sympathy of the "defenders of underdogs." The cunning of the Islamic mind should not be underestimated. But sadly it is. The defenders of the "poor" Moslems, victims of racial profiling, bigotry, and xenophobia, take the whining Moslems at their face value.
