The pictures coming out of this episode are heartrending. This is a struggle for God? The mujahedin defame the name of God by claiming that.
These pictures vividly remind us of why the jihadists must be defeated, and why the struggle must continue until they are. Here they are, but look at your own risk.
These people should be executed. They should be quietly hung and cremated like the Nazis after WWII...no body, no grave, wiped off the face of the planet forever.

Also I question of why these sleeper cells have not done anything here yet, no small scale bus or subway bombings, or attacks to buildings? do we have the extremist types here that just walk into a crowded coffee shop and boom? are we just lucky so far?
Our courts afford everyone the same "rich lawyer" reduced jail terms or release, We catch and release them. Send them home to continue the fight. Treat everyone fairly, obey the law, dont prejudge, think like jesus. Everyone, it seems, is hampered by the very things they hold precious.

Remember a couple of years ago when the jihadis blew up a military band during a parade for the Soviet victory over Germany day? A colleague of mine from Ukrainia said he watched Russian tv on his satellite, and the news doesn't censor out anything... he said the picture were enough to make anyone cry. And these were all grown men serving in the Army.
When was the last time we heard of a crazed gunman rampaging in a school? Wasn't it a few years ago, when the neo-Nazi out in Cali that shot into a Jewish school? I seem to recall children being ushered away by policeman/swat team-ers. Of course this is hundreds of times worse, but it kind of brought back memories.
It disgusts me, like all decent people, to imagine the jihadis opening fire and shooting all those scared children in the backs when they panicked and made a dash for it.

On 17 August, for his site, Daniel Pipes wrote a piece entitled “Naming the Enemy”, quoting President George W Bush’s words of some days earlier: “We actually misnamed the war on terror. It ought to be called the struggle against ideological extremists who do not believe in free societies and who happen to use terror as a weapon to shake the conscience of the free world”.
Dr Pipes then urges for these “ideological extremists” to be given a NAME by Mr Bush, alluding to the President’s own speech of about a month ago, in which - for the first time - he used the phrase, “Islamic militants”, citing other examples of Bush’s candour about the enemy’s identity.
During the past two-&-a-half years, the President’s additionally applied such terms as: “a fringe form of Islamic extremism”; “an heir to all the murderous ideologies of the 20th Century, including fascism, Nazism and totalitarianism”; “fanatics who seek tyranny in the Middle East and beyond, they seek to oppress and persecute women and are seeking the death of Jews, Christians and every Moslem who desires peace over theocratic terror”, and more.
Next, Pipes collected the previous Presidential categorizations of the enemy into a summary: “ A false doctrine of Islamic purity inspires a totalitarian ideology of power and domination. In its ruthlessness, murderousness and global ambition, it resembles the Nazi and communist ideologies. The extremists who advocate this doctrine see America as the chief obstacle to achieving their goals. To defeat America, they initially seek Washington’s retreat from the outside world. Ultimately, they hope to bring about a collapse of America as it now exists. Towards this end, they are prepared to murder any number of Americans”.
Quite rightly, he finds this “a fine description of Islamism, its mentality, methods and means”.
He views the problem as finally attributable “not to acts of violence, but to the ideology behind them”. Pipes continues, “Mr Bush has already alluded to America having to confront its third totalitarian ideology. Now he should name that ideology”, concluding (echoing the thrust of the posters above, on this topic on this site recently): “Only with such specficity can the civilized world begin on the path to victory over this latest manifestation of barbarism”.
Nevertheless, while this admirably advances our necessary, true identification of the enemy as “Islamists”, “political Islamists”, “ Islamic extremists”, “Islamic terrorists”, “radical Islamists”, “militant Islamists”, etc, “Islamo-fascists” and “Jihadis”, it doesn’t really give us any useful, alternate handle for the “War on Terror” itself - naming the Enemy okay, but not the War....
This week, though, I read through some brilliant pages that brought me straight back to this subject, from which I pray your indulgence to excerpt:
“… I agree with one of our leading contemporary students of military strategy, Eliot A Cohen, who thinks that what is generally called the ‘Cold War’ (a term incidentally, coined by Soviet propagandists) should be given a new name. ‘The Cold War’, Mr Cohen writes, ‘was actually World War III, which reminds us that not all global conflicts entail the movement of armies of multi-millions, or conventional front lines on a map’.

So now that there is an obvious clear link to Al-qaeda, those on the "left" media who have tried to insult our intelligence again, by arguing that "there was no evidence". Should be sent to this region and help to see first hand the end results of the works of this scourge, and these demonic creatures.

I am one of the people that is tired of hearing the "religion of peace" arguement. They always use one verse from the Qur'an that contradicts itself later on.
What we need to do is educate people about Islam...those who are Muslim who have never really studied their religion and those who are not. We need to do this in a way that doesn't dehumanize people who are not violent. We need to show those in the middle east that are still human what we are really like...unlike what they see in the media every day.
I would also like to say to those talking about torture and things like it...why should we fight the jihadists who are torturing and killing to replace it with us doing the same thing? What's the point of fighting them if we want to be the same way. We don't like them because they cause pain and sufferning and death and darkness all over the world and that is what their god/religion wants to happen...so why should we be talking about the same things? There is hardly any doubt that the Saudis have funded the Jihad. There is though another major component in the funding of the Jihad - the money raised in mosques. Now money raised in Islamic nations, apart from Saudi Arabia, does not amount to much, as most Islamic nations are dirt poor. Also in dollar terms, this money does not amount to much in real value. However, the money raised in mosques and by other Muslim 'charities' in rich in Western nations, has a very high value.
Thus we see that the major funders of the Jihad are Muslims in Western countries, raising resources to wage war against the West. This is really quite elegant. The more Muslims we let into the West as asylum seekers or immigrants, the more we fund the Jihad, as even the benefit money that the asylum seeker gets, finds its way to the Jihad. Even the employed Muslim in the West would not have the high disposable income to fund the Jihad if he were back in his native Islamic country.
Take note folks. A sure fire way to lose the war is if the enemy and us are both funding the Jihad against us.

Russia has claimed ever since the Chechen conflict erupted 10 years ago that it was being fuelled from Saudi Arabia.
The FSB described As-Seif yesterday as the representative of al-Qaida in Chechnya and distributor of foreign funds to the Chechen resistance.
There is no doubt that in more than 10 years of conflict a number of Arabs have joined the ranks of Chechens fighting the Russian authorities, and that, as the secular, socially liberal, Soviet-educated older generation of Chechen rebels has lost ground, Arab fighters and Islamicised Chechens have become more powerful within the anti-Russian movement.
