He told the FBI that he thought they were hijackers and terrorists. The FBI had their names. Bush still went on a month-long vacation after "working" for seven months... and the rest is history. Your numbering of terrorist victims doesn't really mean anything to me - for example, if Gore had won the election, I still think 9/11 would have happened, and the tally would then have 3000 more to the democrats. Or, if the first attempt on the Trade Towers had worked, what would those losses have been? Presidents don't control the actions of these animals, be they foreign or domestic.

As far as war losses, 10K lost to Gulf War Syndrome, countless maimed - okay, 52K dead in Vietnam, countless maimed, people lost to the effects of Agent Orange, etc. Can we add those to Kennedy, and Johnson?

I would never demean anybody who served in the US armed forces. But there was a time when all Americans believed that "politics stops at the water's edge". Do you remember that? Does that standard hold true today? If not, why not? This very noble, and intelligent idea, was laid to rest by liberals who were so filled with hatred for Ronald Reagan that they would rather see America's enemies win than see Ronald Reagan win. And that idea among liberals has just grown and grown. Do you think that John Kerry and ...what's his running mate's name?
