KATHMANDU (Reuters) - Nepali authorities clamped an indefinite curfew in Kathmandu on Wednesday and warned violators would be shot after furious mobs attacked a mosque and went on the rampage to protest against the killing of 12 Nepalis in Iraq.Protesters stormed inside the city's main mosque and lit a fire, but were driven out by police. Others burst into the offices of Saudi Arabian Airlines and Qatar Airways, smashing windows and taking papers and furniture into the street to burn.
Earlier, police had lobbed teargas shells at about 3,000 demonstrators burning tyres at a main intersection 200 metres from the Jame Masjid mosque in the heart of the city.
It was arather targetted protest from the looks of it - islamic symbols singled out and attacked. The otehrwise peaceloving Nepalese I guess are finally demonstrating that not every crime committed in the name of allah will go unpunished or unprotested....
Though hey, such activism or vigilantism if taken further against say grieviences against non muslim ethnic groups can pose problems at large for civil society. The jehadis though are a different matter, I 100% support attacks on them!

I watched that execution video this morning. Or started to. 5 seconds was too much. The Nepalis have the right idea, they just need to ramp it up a few magnitudes.
This is the only language Muslims understand but notice the Nepalese didn't kill anyone despite 12 of their own being slaughtered for, I suspect, merely being Buddhists. Hope this sends a message to followers of Islam that we will not always stay PC calm and restrained after Jihad attacks.

More PC bullcrap - The AP account in today's newspaper of the slaughter of these 12 Nepalese cooks & cleaners DID NOT mention:
a) That they were there as cooks & cleaners. Instead it gave a generalized statement that there are many nepalese in iraq employed as private defense contractors & bodyguards.
b) That a main justification given by the scumbag murderers for this heinous act of cowardice was that they were BUDDHIST!
This war will not be won until the civilized world throws off the self-imposed shackles & states openly that there is evil in the world, this evil's name is islam & we are GOING TO FIGHT THIS EVIL & DESTROY IT!

Canadian news (Global network) just covered this. They do not mention the mosque being burned, or the fact that these were just cooks and cleaners who got slaughtered, or even mention islamic terrorists. Instead they spoke about the Nepalis being upset with their government for not doing enough to get the hostages released.
The more I watch this site, and compare the news to what I see on tv, the more I wonder when Canada's wake-up call will come in. And how Loud it will be.

Am doubtful these were Buddhists

as Nepalese majority is Hindu
and as such has a warrior caste history
but would love to find out that it is the Buddhists
sticking up for themselves after being driven out

If there is another attack on American soil, this little raid by the Nepalese will look like a Sunday picnic for Girl Scouts. No amount of force or the threatened use of it will be holding back a substantial proportion of our population who already think we are being too tolerant of this cancer. With most of our battle ready troops in Iraq and Afghanistan, and our Homeland Security and First Responders keyed to protecting real Americans in specific settings, I'm quite sure that local vigilante groups will form quickly and begin driving out anybody who even looks like they might bow toward Mecca, even once a day.

Re the burning of the mosque, well, (sigh!) hard to drum up a lot of sympathy really. I can understand where the Nepali are coming from. They were angry, as you would be, after having 12 of your countrymen murdered, for merely being hardworking people who just want to make a living. No crime in that. The crime is the murder of those 12 Nepali, and the hundred or more other victims those murders caused - the widows, the orphans, the grieving parents, sisters, brothers, uncles, aunties, friends, etc. Just like the thousands of victims other attacks by Islamics have created.
Victims of Islam have just stood there and taken the punches, time and time again. That can only go on for so long, before the victim has enough and punches back. Islam can expect the backlashes to come more frequently because we've had enough. Acting politely and civilized only works when you're dealing with normal, civilized people. It doesn't work against Islam. Islam views that as a weakness. Sometimes you just have to hit back. And hard.
