This story underscores the bravery & courage of any civilized human being (soldier or civilian), aiding Iraqi's. Unlike the "holy soldiers", the "freedom fighters", the JIHADISTS, who take women and school children, and now these gutsy men, probably from their beds while sleeping. Cowards.
It makes me shudder to think how these hostages are being treated, with the stories of Beslan at the forefront of my mind, and the lack of compassion, respect, or even mild sympathy the treat their hostages with.
That the left seem unable to condemn this spate of kidnappings (and God only knows what human-rights violations are taking place therein), or even, it seems, the savage treatment of the poor Beslan kids; but still manage to find some kind of misplaced and totally undeserved sympathy for the prisoners of Gitmo and Abu Ghraib, makes my stomach churn.It angers me, and the question "how does the mind of a liberal (5th column,socialist vermin) work, or does it actually work at all??? Where is there sense of priority, patriotism, self-worth, empathy for people of the civilized world (even North Ossetia is civilized in comparison to most islamic dung-heaps), and what the hell is it that they see in these islamic jihadist scumbags who are, quite obviously, (and I'm going to use a wee bit of a cliche here) horrible,awful people; who deserve less respect than head-lice.
I will never understand the logic of their thinking , or what the source of it is, and how all of them have the same attitudes (and responses, when it comes to having arguments and discussions), that rather than say that these kidnappings are cowardly acts be uncivilized savages, instead resort to either highlighting that it's all america's fault (these people want an end to occupation...yawn....),or listing off the sins of westerners.
I have given up trying now, on my quest on leftist websites, to open up a few eyes, because all the work I do is a waste of time, as all the BS I've cleansed from some of their heads is just filled up again by their moronic ilk.

I could have told you that it was a waste of time. The only thing that will wake them up is catastrophe, and even then they'll say it's somehow our fault.
