Somehow I dont like the chances..........these individuals have no soul or conscience for the pleadings of their innocent victims families.

I was wondering...these islamist theofascists have shown they only understand one thing, that is force, right?

So my suggestion is instead of giving in to terrorists (which the brittish won't do) and doing nothing (which usually result in horriifc murders of hostages), why don't we do the only alternative left.

What I am suggesting is that we can say to the islamists (as an counter to their threats) if they hurt one of the hostages we will send a hundred more troops to Iraq, or we will increase funding to hunting the terrorists down, or we will dispatch a extra unit of elite special forces to hunt them down.

That way we will use the only language/currency they WILL understand. They will know if they take the murdering hostages option it will materially harm them and so they will logically do what is in their interests and let the hostages go (hopefully). IF, that is, the threat of retaliation is sufficiently big enough I would think that this option should work (in theory).

Why havn't any western leaders tried this approach.

The mafia used to say if your enemies kill one of yours you kill 10 of theirs etc etc. THEY DIDN'T SAY OH...WE DONT NEGOTIATE WITH OTHER MAFIOSI and then wait to get walloped/beaten by their enemies. The language of escalating retaliation worked in the mafia...so why don't we use an similar appoach.

Voltaire, I can certainly understand if it were my brother I would plead for his life ...ofcourse. I ABSOLUTLEY AGREE WITH YOU. It is just I feel that pleading with the individual/terrorist at hand (i.e. Abu Musab al-Zarqawi) won't result in saving the hostages life. I feel this method alone by itself will have a very low probability of success. Al-Zarqawi has always as far as I know murdered ever westerner he has got his hands on regardless of the pleading from hostages relatives. I just feel something more has to be done.

I understand the families pleadings, faced with the same situation any of us would likely do the same, but this mans family, at least his brother, seem to know that this poor guys fate is sealed...and I just know that the islamic garbage holding this man is loving every minute of the pleading and begging for their lives, just one more way that the inferior muslim male uses to feel superior...I wonder if these muslim males actually know how inferior to any other species on the planet they are....I dont care what anyone says, they are not now nor have they ever been human...their physical appearance may resemble human, but they have no soul, they are evil filled carbon based beings, nothing more.

Please release, word for word what these monsters say when they do this. Nothing can open peoples eyes more than the reasons they give, and justification they use for these acts. By the way, we are also monkeys as well as dogs...In their eyes.

The questions you are asking to be answered should be DEMANDED from every mosque, no matter where it is. Each and every mosque must make an open and public stand on what they believe. If there is so much as a hesitation or attempt to justify these acts then they are CONFRONTED.

Ahh, don't beg. I hate it when people beg. They're as good as dead anyway. If I were ever in this situation, I'd hope that my family would spit on Allah, and and maybe send a juicey ham, in my honor, to the local mosque. But I'm weird like that.

Of course each and every family would make such a plea, futile attempts at best. Once a person becomes a captive of these vile creatures, their sentence is sealed. It's only a matter of time. The murder will take place in a venue that will create the most visceral public reaction.

For elements of the media or other advocates of surrender to pile on pleas is to vitiate the strength necessary to defeat the enemies of civilization. Everything is at stake.

two solutions to fight these kidnappings:

(1) non-military personnel should carry firearms. the iraqis are allowed to have an ak-47 for household defense. non-iraqi civilians should be armed as well -- this will deter would-be kidnappers, especially after a few of them are gunned down in the street

(2) on alcatraz, incoming inmates were told that hostages had zero value. any hostage-taking would result in assault using lethal force, and if the hostage was injured or killed in the process, that's just the way it went. the results were that there were almost no hostage situations at all at alcatraz -- in marked distinction to other prisons with a more flowery policy. this should be the hostage policy with terrorists. no negotiations. immediate lethal assault, and hopefully hostages will survive. eventually, under this policy, hostage-taking loses its value and allure

I feel so, so, sorry and bad for the man's family. Their pleas are understandable and they shouldn't be criticized for it. It's natural to want to save your loved ones. Good point at the end of the article though - their press won't tell them about the reality of their request and what it means in Islam. The media will instead play this for all its worth, as an anti-war story, never focussing on disgusting tenets of Islam.

Negotiating with evil-doers will not save lives. Even if the demands of these sadists were met they would probably kill the hostages anyway.

One way to have a SIGNIFICANT impact on the number of the SCUM that commits MURDER in the name of allah is to do something that will cause them to question whether they will go to HEAVEN.
