From AAP, with thanks to Kevin:
INDONESIAN police fear the terrorist masterminds of the Australian embassy bombing in Jakarta are planning deadly attacks every six months. They also say that al-Qaeda money was used by the South East Asia-based Jemaah Islamiah group to fund the September 9 blast as well as last year's Marriott Hotel suicide attack in the Indonesian capital.
Police sources said Malaysian bomb maker Azahari Husin and bag man Noordin Mohammed Top were aiming to increase the tempo of attacks, which have claimed 223 lives since the Bali bombings of 2002.
"If within six months they have no chances, then it will be done in the next six months," a senior police source was quoted today as saying by the Republika newspaper.
Azahari, the bespectacled British-trained geophysics professor, and Noordin are currently being hunted across Indonesia by US-trained anti-terrorist squads.
Now why would a British-trained geophysics professor become a bomb maker for an Islamic terrorist group? You'd think he'd be smart enough to read all those peaceful passages in the Qur'an and recognize the error of his ways.
And if and when these people are caught, they are paraded around for the world press.....and as we have just recently seen their leaders are eventualy released.
The weakness of the Indonesian government has been fully explopited by the saudi backed jihadists for many years.
Nothing has been done about the explosion of maddrassas or the rise of brainwashed indonesian jihadists.
unless Australia now reacts and cooperates with the new indonesian government it will face awesome problems in its own backyard.
Similarly the weakness of the Philipino government has allowed jihad training camps to operate and produce new crops of weapon trained islamofascists.
The jewel in the crown as the smirk ridden Bashir has told us is Australia, already claimed by Sydney clerics as part of the umma.
John Howard had better win the election or elese g-d help Australia under the government of the brain dead left or the green trolls!
OT, but related to all of this:
Is SA Holy Ground?:

And this one is somewhat related to Sharia (and the Left, for they share some of the same thinking as muslims):

Think it very likely an attack is planned ON AUSTRALIAN SOIL. Hope to Hell I am wrong but there a plenty of Jihadists and Saudi funded Mosques in Sydney.
bravo, gary!
Both the articles you linked were marvellous. These are sound arguments that can with centrist (i.e. neither leftist nor rightist) audiences and a clear majority in the uS are centrists.
Anyway, nice work, request more of the same!
Where ever it is I hope that the people of that country dont pull a spain and give in(although I cant see that happening with any of the countries mentioned here)....where ever and when ever I hope the backlash is something muslims will never forget...I hope it is something that the insurgents, hostage takers and baby murderers can watch on TV and get sick over
Gary,
Great links!!!
Never beem to Frontpage before, and it's now on my list of faves.
Robert (I think) asks:

The problem is that "resistence is futile," as the mature Unit says to the newly captured member of a new species, destined to become a Unit of the Borg through a massive"brainwashing" process.
It's not all that easy to "brainwash" an adult, but it's pathetically easy to "brainwash" a child. The developing brain goes through periods where it is particularly susceptible to particular kinds of intellectual tasks, and when these periods pass, it is more difficult to deal with these tasks. The expression "You can't teach an old dog new tricks" stems from the observation of this sort of problem.
The brain, in a sense, "crystalizes" by late puberty. By that time, most people have a particular "mindset," including things like politics, religion, and philosophy. You can present factual material that disproves certain of these views after puberty, but the adult brain remains amazingly resistent to any change of "mindset." This is particularly the case where the case for a particular view (e.g. jihad) has been made across many years and very, very frequently. Brain pathways are well established by this process, and the intellectual/emotional "habits" are extremely difficult to break.
There are a few children--perhaps 1.5%-3%--with a cognitive style that enables them to stay open to new ideas and facts. They can generally be recognized because, even though they may accept the ideas at a superficial level as children, much the way they accept their clothes or food, their minds remain curious, and they may even ask questions. Very often, these kids are somewhat quiet, somewhat oppositional, quite stubborn, don't particularly care about their appearance, are not liked very well by the typical elementary school teacher, are not particularly neat or organized, tend to be argumentative, often overlook details in favor of seeing "the big picture," and may ignore rules he regards as unimportant. He is often classified as a "difficult" child.
These kids also tend to be the pool from which Nobel Prize winners (Peace Prize excepted) are drawn.
