Self-cure starts with self-realisation and confession. We should then run after our terrorist sons, the sour grapes of a deformed culture.
Let us listen to Yusuf al-Qaradawi - the Qatar-based radical Egyptian cleric - and hear him recite his "fatwa" about the religious permissibility of killing civilian Americans in Iraq.
Let us contemplate a Sheikh allowing, even calling for, the murder of civilians.
AN ailing Sheikh, in his last days, with two daughters studying in "infidel" Britain, soliciting children to kill civilians.
How can we believe him when he tells us Islam is a religion of mercy and peace while he is turning it into a religion of blood and slaughter?
This is a major breakthrough in the Islamic press.
All the others seem to excuse this atrocity by pointing the finger at Russias 'heavy hand' in Chechnya. Some (surprise surprise)even accuse the Jews of being behind it.
At last. One of them is willing to 'grasp the nettle'.

On this Monday morning I listened to a talk-radio show that dealt with the Russian infacides
by the warriors of Islam,I have always claimed that the lack of outrage and condemnation of the terrorism and terrorists is a silent for of consent to continue. Looks like I was right,in a city with about 100,000 Muslims only one called into the show as requested by the host.
The Muslim that did call did the usual line about the terrorists not being "True" Muslims and Islam forbiding the killing of innocent children.
Of course,did he mean Islam approves the killing of guilty children,such as the children of the infidels.
Just once I'd like to hear Muslim cleric's rebuke the terrorists and not the standard condemning of the actual violence,also I'm
really getting sick of the "Crusades" being added to Muslims justification for some mass murders.
With only about .03 percent of the worlds Muslims living in America ,maybe it's the 99.97 percent outside America that are the true Muslims and Jihad and slaughtering infidels and children of God to gain favor with Allah is the correct teachings of Islam and Muhammed.

Daniel Pipes has been saying virtually the same thing for three years. al_Rashed is merely repeating Pipes words but without acknowledging the original source. Bad show. Besides, all this is merely repeating what has been said for a long time and is now widely accepted as a trueism. All al_Rashed is doing is accepting reality and thus claiming credit to be a thinking and listening moderate. This kind of Taqqiya I have come across quite often. Admitting to facts that are widely and publicly known and then trying to claim credit that Islam is a moderate and listening religion.
You will note that al_Rashed has no criticism for the ideology that sustains the Jihad. In fact he has nothing to say about the Jihad, the root cause of all the difficulty we are in. How can he, for when all is said and done, he is a good Muslim. Even here, as he admits that Muslims are the cause of terrorism, he tries dawa -'Innocent religion is now a message of hate'. Innocent? The koran is not innocent. In fact the above is a perfect example of the con. Admit to well know facts that cannot be denied ie most terrorists are Muslims, and then try and slip in some dawa.
We have to be careful and not accept at face value anything that comes out of the Islamic world. After the horrors of last week, there is a feeling among Muslims that they need to do something to deflect criticism of Islam. This article of al_Rashed's is an example of deception or Taqqiya.
The trouble is that we are so desperate to find a moderate muslim, that we are very susceptible to a con. There are moderate muslims though - Ali Sena and Ibn Warraq are eminent examples.

DP111 has stated a principle that bears repeating. Don't take anything at face value. Remember the tactics of taqiyya and kitman, holy lying and dissembling to promote the interests of Islam. (In other words is o.k. to lie to infidels, to gain their trust, to put them off guard before the next strike. Remember they are relentless and patient. This is a lesson the foolish often forgot to heed!)

Moe's Foe, yes, Moses killed an egyptian who was torturing one of the children of Israel, but that was the only blood that you can lay at his feet. And, in the bible it was not viewed as his finest hour. Juxtapose this to the murderous rampages that Mohammed incited, participated in and encouraged his followers to continue and you get a completely different picture. The Qur'an exemplifies this philosophy, which is largely why Islam has continued to be a bloody and merciless, totalitarian religion. It is also why any person of good conscience will reject it outright.
