BERLIN - (KRT) - German officials are growing concerned about a conference for Arabs and Muslims on "American Zionist terror" that looks like it will go ahead as planned in Berlin, despite calls for its cancellation by a prominent Jewish organization.The conference, scheduled for Oct. 1-3, is expected to attract as many as 500 Islamists from around the world to form "a unified response" to the American presence in Iraq and to Israel's existence, according to promotional literature for the First Arab, Islamic Congress in Europe.
The conference is to determine a response at a time when "occupation troops are portrayed as peacekeepers, and the suppressed people fighting for freedom are portrayed as extremists."
Plans for the conference have prompted members of the Berlin Parliament to demand an investigation into whether it will put the city under terrorist threat. Claus Guggenberger, a spokesman for the Protection of the Constitution branch of the Berlin government, said, "We're already keeping an eye on the congress. We've been aware of the plans for some time and have been studying it."
He added that German officials are scrambling to figure out what they can do, if anything, about the congress.
"If their agenda included bombing the Reichstag, we could stop them. But unless there's evidence of a crime, there's little we can do."
The Simon Wiesenthal Center, a leading Jewish rights group, has asked the German government to "cancel the Jihadist assembly," saying it looks to have a dangerous agenda.
"The Berlin First Arab, Islamic Congress in Europe is not an innocent exercise, but a political platform for radical jihad and a market for potential European youth recruits to the ranks of terrorism," Shimon Samuel, the center's director for international liaison, said in a written statement.

They have not and are not emigrating to these countries because they love the good life,they are merely colonizing them.

I like the way the First Arab Islamic Congress in Europe has replaced the German government. The Congress seems to have seized the agenda and is saying 'this is the way it will be'.
I hope the Europeans are watching what can only be described as a portentous event.
