And to what extent is this happening in mosques elsewhere in the world, including the United States? From AP, with thanks to LGF:
KUWAIT CITY - Every Friday, 17-year-old Dhari al-Zahameel's family would wait for him to come back from the mosque so they could have lunch together. Then one day the young al-Zahameel didn't come home, instead sending word he had gone to fight in the jihad, or holy war.The teenager did not say where he was headed, but his father, Othman al-Zahameel, found out the boy had taken a flight to Syria that day -- April 30 -- with a friend of about the same age. The final destination was not difficult to figure out: Iraq.
The elder al-Zahameel told The Associated Press he made several fruitless trips to Syria to search for his son. Then, in mid-July, Dhari, his friend and two other Kuwaitis -- one also a teenager -- were sent home from Syria.
The Kuwait government said they had been accused of trying to enter Iraq illegally, the first official acknowledgment that citizens of this U.S. ally were taking up arms against American troops in Iraq.
It was something of a shock because this small oil-rich state owes its 1991 liberation from a seven-month Iraqi occupation to a U.S.-led coalition and Kuwait was the launch pad for the war that toppled Saddam Hussein last year. Just as upsetting was that apparently many of those recruited by Kuwaiti extremists to fight in Iraq are teenagers.
One Kuwaiti security official said Muslim radicals are recruiting teens because they are too young to remember Saddam's 1990 occupation of Kuwait and so have no qualms about fighting their country's liberators in Iraq.
Upon their return to Kuwait, Al-Zahameel and his three comrades were detained by Kuwaiti security officers, and information from their interrogations led to the arrest of 14 extremists suspected of recruiting them or preparing for terrorist attacks here.
The teenager remains under investigation and could face up to two years in juvenile detention if he is convicted of leaving the country to fight Americans, said his lawyer, Abdullah al-Otaibi.
Osama al-Menawer, a lawyer who represents Islamic fundamentalists, said dozens of Kuwaitis seeking to join Iraq's insurgency have entered the country through Syria, Iran and Turkey, avoiding Kuwait's own tightly controlled frontier. Many have been killed in the fighting, which they view as a jihad, or Muslim holy war.
"Nobody is denying what the Americans did" for Kuwait, he said. But, he added, "is everything America does correct?"
Experts on Islamic extremism say radical groups see the presence of U.S. troops on Arab soil as a chance to rally their followers.
For more than a decade this Gulf emirate has been gripped by a struggle between liberals who want more freedoms and a stronger democracy and Muslim fundamentalists who favor full implementation of sharia, Islamic law.

The next time the islamoo-fascist who identifies him/herself ,rather non-descriptly, as "muslim"; could someone please link him up to this thread, and shut him/her up permanently in his/her denial that muslim kids are recruited, or more acurately, brain-washed into blowing themselves up for the demon-lord (allah)!?!?!
Time to start demolishing the mosks, AT PRAYER TIME!!!

They're Terrorists, Not "Activists"

"I know it when I see it" was the famous response by a U.S. Supreme Court justice to the vexed problem of defining pornography. Terrorism may be no less difficult to define, but the wanton killing of schoolchildren, of mourners at a funeral, or workers at their desks in skyscrapers surely fits the know-it-when-I-see-it definition.
The media, however, generally shies away from the word terrorist, preferring euphemisms. Take the assault that led to the deaths of some 400 people, many of them children, in Beslan, Russia, on Sept. 3. Journalists have been deep into their thesauruses, finding at least twenty euphemisms for terrorists:
· Assailants - National Public Radio.
· Attackers – the Economist.
· Bombers – the Guardian.
· Captors – the Associated Press.
· Commandos – Agence France-Presse refers to the terrorists both as “membres du commando” and “commando.”
· Criminals - the Times (London).
· Extremists – United Press International.
· Fighters – the Washington Post.
· Group – the Australian.
· Guerrillas: in a New York Post editorial.
· Gunmen – Reuters.
· Hostage-takers - the Los Angeles Times.
· Insurgents – in a New York Times headline.
· Kidnappers – the Observer (London).
· Militants – the Chicago Tribune.
· Perpetrators – the New York Times.
· Radicals – the BBC.
· Rebels – in a Sydney Morning Herald headline.
· Separatists – the Daily Telegraph.
And my favorite:
· Activists – the Pakistan Times.
Hey, even "terrorists" doesn't quite say it either. Terrorism is just a technique. What we have here are Islamic Jihadists. Didn't Robert explain to all of us? This is JIHAD. And even if the massacre was caused mostly by native participants, the fact is that they are being prodded by imported Jihadists, who are providing the money, method and Qur'anic justification. And it's not just al Quaida. I'm afrad the media is going to hold a position that if we can't prove an incident was caused by ALL imported al Quaida jihadists, then it must be a local insurgency.
Dear Son of Infidel and Cassandra:
You may be interested to know that I posted Pipes' article at Dhimmi Watch, with comments.

Cordially
Robert Spencer
Teens are perfect cannon fodder for the jihadists. Idealistic, impressionable, immature to social mores and personal responsiblity, they are often easily lead when the rhetoric make fantastical promises of paradise, heroism, or even martyrdom.
The criminals that are recruiting, socializing, funding, and sending out these impressionable young people to murder and create mayhem should be a focus of our attention. Find the head of the snake. When these people are found, I bet we'll be surprised by the identity of some.
More proof that the Bush honeypot doctrine is working.
Firsthand reports of the combat in Iraq is starting to trickle back in the form of books like Generation Kill. They are confirming that many of the dead jihadis being scraped off the battlefield have Syrian passports. So Syria has become a staging area for the Iraqi jihad just as Pakistan is the staging area for the Afghanistan jihad.
The aim of the honeypot is to attract jihadis from all over the defunct Islamic empire where they can be dealt with in terrain that is advantageous to the American military. Since Baghdad is the very heart of the defunct Islamic empire and the seat of the exterminated Caliphate, it is not that difficult to suck the jihadis from all over the Muslim world into the trap. It has even been set up to make it easy for them to arrive on foot.
Once they arrive, instead of confronting Sheriff Andy Taylor on the streets of Mayberry RFD, the jihadis are welcomed by US Army tank crews, Marine snipers, and Air Force AC130 Spectres. They are also met by the direct regimental descendants of the the famed Polish Winged Hussars who crushed the jihadi invaders who had foolishly assailed the gates of Vienna in 1683.
The jihadis are compelled by their religion to prioritize their choices of jihad venues. Jihad in Iraq, being an Islamic land that is under the rule of Infidels, must take priority over waging jihad in non-Muslim lands. So President Bush has set up shop in Baghdad, put out the word that he is there to stay for the forseeable future, and has personally invited all jihadis in the world to come to Baghdad and fulfill their destiny.
What we have here are Islamic Jihadists. Didn't Robert explain to all of us? This is JIHAD

Verynice, Thankyou Cassandra
Mr.Spencer has presented the facts... and has explained the vine down to its roots.
After study, and research to "validate" or disallow "(*)as perniciously slanted/incomplete" Mr.Spencer's presentation is obviously quite forthright.
And stays about as close to TRUTH as anyone
(many do) can get to the bottom of the permutable and fickle waves of "truth that wash across this globe
(*) Claims have been (run to ground) that DO fit this criteria on both sides of the IslamicTerror/justification arguments,......The vast majority of Maliciously skewed information has thus far come from the apologist/projihadist(reads as) Pakistan sycophants. And their Matrons..ie CAIR and the like.
So in Summation, Go back now and then and read Robert Spencer's Basic Introductions, Try to keep his stated mission of spreading Information. And why
................Why Jihad Watch?
Because the West is facing a concerted effort by radical Muslims,
It is very sad that so much young potential is used as(easily manipulated)cannon fodder of the most horrible sort................
cannon fodder used to brutally Exterminate segments of Productive civilian populations and structures across the Civilized parts of the PLANET.
Submitting again.... the thought that this can only be stopped if it is excised from the ROOT.
ALL oil exports FROM(and arms sales TO) these places must be Stopped NOW.Then ...perhaps... in 17 years (optimistic estimate)
the LEADERS power base will be degraded enough so that it shall no longer support the massive brainwashing necessary to support jihad. And nolonger hold up the judicial and police support structures that keep the masses under Shaira control.
The populations (or rival warlords) will crush these currently working bastions of the leaders of the BORG
ALL work currently conducted that profits from the OIL industry and its attendant support structures etc) should be switched over to the EVOLUTION of the POWER infrastructure across USA & Japan......
http://www.eere.energy.gov/RE/hydrogen.html
Then to ALL the parts of the planet not already dimmified.
We are sure Russia would be on board for such a grand scheme since it means a whole new economy base which is what they need.
Russia should receive whatever help the rest of the civilized world can provide to bring itself up... and (in turn) help the world defeat an insidious creeping monster that is Islam ,and its dominatrix handmaiden Shaira law..
Also If the LEADERS can nolonger bribe buttloads of key figures and (judicials and media ,etc etc) That will in turn halt the deadly spread of Taqqiya.increasing the spread of truth!
Pakistan should read , Palestine
Hulega Kahn,
Great post, exellent theory, and more than likely an accurate one.Hopefully this is true so the bulk of the jihadist groups can be taken out during the current conflict.
Something tells me Iran's next on the list, and the less jihad-psycos we have to face the better/the less jihad psycos plaguing this planet the better.
RightWing (aka Son of Infidel),
Pleased to make your aquaitence.
Behold Rightwing; long live Son of Infidel.
PS-thanks for your support.
