Muslim cleric Hamza "de-arrested"

Charles at LGF says this could be the prelude to his deportation to the United States. From the BBC:

Muslim cleric Abu Hamza al-Masri, held last week on suspicion of being involved in terror offences, has been de-arrested, Scotland Yard said.

He had been arrested on Thursday at Belmarsh Prison, south-east London, where he is already fighting extradition to the US.

Police had been granted a warrant to question him until 2 September.

He was held on suspicion of commissioning, preparing or instigating terrorist acts in the UK.

British police had earlier said his arrest on Thursday was not related to the accusations in the US.

He was banned from preaching at Finsbury Park, north London, last year but he continued to address his supporters from the pavement.

The US authorities want Mr Abu Hamza to face 11 charges, include giving advice to those involved in a Yemen kidnapping in which three Britons died in 1989.

So now the oppressive British government admits that it has unjustly persecuted a peaceful, pious, physically disabled Imam whose only crime was attempting to minister to his fellow Muslims. Do you really expect that Muslims will quietly accept this bigotry and abuse indefinitely? You are bringing the inevitable consequences of these actions upon yourselves.

Allahu akbar

Hamza is complaining he's not getting Al-Halal meat in Belmarsh prison. I think the tosser should be force fed pork. Afterall his name is HAMza and he likes moHAMmed.

You know how he lost his arm, he couldnt set a mine properly and it blew up when he placed it. He really is a moron, he lost his eye by not cleaning his RPG-7. When he tried to fire it at a Soviet Tank there was too much dirt in the tube, it caused excess pressure and the round missed its target and the reticule of the weapon's sight was driven into his eye causing blindness.

There's definitely something going on with Hook Hamza, the most hated man in Britain.Have noticed
my favourite Muhajadeen the 'Al Magarines' have been off the Web now for several days. Maybe the Brits are beginning to take Terrorism seriously...

Morgane:

Since he won't be out of SOMEONE's custody (either the US' or the UK's) for a long time, we'd better start calling him Hookless Hamza.

So hard to fend off Bubba in prison . . .
