The United States must bolster intelligence assets in Africa and prevent Saudi financing to the continent, deemed a major arena for al-Qaida and related groups, asserts a new report, according to Geostrategy-Direct, the global intelligence news service.The Washington-based Center for Strategic and International Studies said Africa, home to more than 300 million Muslims, represents a major terrorist challenge to the United States.
In a report, the center said the U.S. intelligence community must increase its human assets and monitor such trends as the financing of al-Qaida as well as the smuggling of man-portable surface-to-air missiles.
"Specifically, the administration should increase pressure on the Saudi government to regulate financial flows by Saudi charities to Madrassas in Africa at the same time that the United States demonstrates the seriousness of its commitment to expand educational opportunities," stated the report, "Rising U.S. Stakes in Africa."
The center also said the United States must increase its diplomatic presence in Africa and "dramatically expand human intelligence and language training."
A key goal is to tighten controls over Islamic insurgency financing through the diamond trade.
On Sept. 9, the U.S. Treasury Department designated the U.S. and Comoros branches of the Saudi-based Al Haramain Foundation as financiers and facilitators of terrorism, including the 1998 al-Qaida bombings of U.S. embassies in east Africa.
So far, more than a dozen branches of the state-sponsored Al Haramain, including the director of the organization, have been listed as facilitators of terrorism.
The report said any African initiative by the United States must include Sudan. In the 1990s, Sudan harbored al-Qaida, and Khartoum has remained a base for a range of Palestinian insurgency groups, including Hamas.
More evidence that filthy-rich Muslim petrobillionaires in Saudi Arabia and elsewhere are thumbing their noses at the world, determined to establish their Caliphate through their clients, the jihadists, while hiding behind the skirts of governments, such as that of the Saudi Royals. The U.S. Government can protest until the cows come home, but diplomatic niceties won't stop this onslaught. The only deterrent is force, the eventual step we will have to take to prevent our enslavement.
Saudi Arabia is the core of radical islam, and of jihad. It is the Saudis that are at the root of every situation of terrorism we see from day to day, (direct involvement in all the big whammies like 9/11 as well as investments in CAIR and bias left-leaning media).
It is the Saudis that keep Violent Jihad alive, as well as the European "trojan horse" invasion, if not directly then at the very least financially (madrasses and Mosques that are epicentres of hate preaching are by and large built from Saudi money).
It is by this fact that I declare Saudi Arabia arch rivals of the infidels and they have to be stopped.
Arabs where involved in Beslan ,surprise ,surprise (maybe they were Syrians or Jordanians but the point is Saudi dosh got them where they where). Hopefully Russia have found some evidence which conects the House of Saud to Beslan, Baseyev, and they'll do what we should have done before attacking Afghanistan and Iraq: Wiping out those dirty, coniving, AIDS ridden, camel sodomizing, selfish, hateful oil bandits and turning every last Saudi oil field into an ocean of fire, so their resources are gone (we'd be better off anyway, maybe then we'd start using natural resources a bit more).
Hopefully before the US elections Bush'll have a fallout with them, and blitz those bastards instead of Iran.
