Will Cummins didn't get fired from the Telegraph for writing the article - he wrote it as a freelancer under a pretty unconvincing pseudonym. He got fired from the British Council, an organisation which promotes co-operation with the Muslim world. Since his articles were incompatible with the aims of the British Council, they were withing their rights to fire him - nothing stops him writing for the Telegraph or anyone else.
(Sorry to keep saying this, but the misconception seems to be very widespread.)

I remember reading on avionics.ru that the Russian Airforce was running out of Hinds (Helicopters) due to mechanical failures and losses in Chechnya, and the main fact that Russia military cant afford to buy/make any more aircraft.
Hopefully all this will change and I for one would hope to see Russia have a closer relationship with the US and both the US and Russia to jettison their respective false allies (Iran and Saudi Arabia) in the Middle East. I am sure that the people who commited the Beslan atrocity are part of a organisation aspiring to acheive islamist totitarianism in the region...and that independence for Chechnya is only a means towards a regional totalitarian end. By their deeds shall you know them. The ideology of all totalitarian movements involves the belief that a utopian society will result from the political application of that ideology. And because a utopia promises the maximum eternal benefit to society in the long run horrific atrocities seen as necessary to acheive utopias are beleived justifiable in the short run. The British Council was founded not in order to win friends among Muslims. That was not its raison d'etre. It helps if one can start with someone who is not neutral, but has some pre-existing mental condition, such as antisemitism, to help make one highly susceptible to joining in the defense, and promotion, of Islam. John Simpson, who directs the BBC World Service, is a good example, and so is Edward Mortimer (take a look, as I did the other day, at his scruffy Paul-Theroux-in-the-late-60s style photograph, on the back of his deplorable and ludicrous "Islam and Power" or "Islam and Faith" or whatever the damn book is called), who has metamorphosed into a plump, pompous, Podsnap of the East River, billing himself as "Senior Advisor" to Kofi Annan, but really just the main speechwriter -- although for all I know, given how blidn Kofi Annan is on the subject of Islam, he may well rely on Edward Mortimer for all of his understanding -- too bad for people in the Sudan. Anti-Americanism also helps -- vide Dominique de Villepin, one of the Trois Mosquetairs, with Chirac and Barnier, now falling all over themselves in gratitude to the Muslims in France who pretended NOT to support the linking of the kidnapped journalists to the demand that the hijab in schools be permitted.
Those who for fifty or sixty years worked for the British Council before the likes of Rod Pryde (everyone seems to be named Rod or Mick in England today -- un po' di dignita would be nice, a little more Sir Cloudesley Shovell and Kenelm Digby, if you please), should be furious.

The truth must be made know to all Muslims, & repeated over and over again, until all Islamic followers & practitioners on this earth find Christianity to be the missing link, and the way to their enlightenment. Islam, post 7th Century, cleverly devised the Koran’s foundation from 4th Century Christianity, after the Roman Empire’s recognition of the Nicene Creed. Islamic scholars created the Koran as a Muslim ‘response’ to the Roman Christian Empire. This makes the Koran a political game, rather then a peaceful answer for humanity. When today’s Muslims research Christianity, i.e., Catholicism, they will find all the original ideas. Muslims, must be encouraged themselves & by Christians, to seek the roots of their Muslim beliefs. When they do, they will find Christianity to be the truth they were searching for all along, but were not able to find in Islam.
