One part is still inside the school, supposedly holding dozens more hostages as live shield.
At least 13 militants are suspected to have fled the school after the standoff was put to an end when a roof fell in the building where hundreds of hostages were held. They have managed to escape south of the town, while the rest of twenty-some terrorist is reportedly trying to mix with the adult hostages and thus escape capture.
Two female hostage-takers believed to have escaped from the school after it was attacked by Russian forces earlier on Friday are being pursued across the town of Beslan.

Living on capus, I come across these headscarf wearing females every once so often. Much to my own chagrin, I can't drive away the one word that continuosly forms in my mind the moment I see any one of them - "terroristi!"
I know its kinda stereotypical and bigotyed but by god, these fems have shown complete agreement with the males of their creed and now, i won't feel even that ounce of guilt I used to whenever my gut shouts 'terroristi' again!

Did you, perchance, see the comment about armbands in HULEGU KHAN's post immediately following your own comment?
Maybe you could make your own armband with an indication of where you stand, perhaps something like "DHIMMI" inside the international nullification symbol. There are so MANY to choose from!
That way, you could make your stand known without saying a word, and perhaps even stimulate some questions (during the ensuing conversation, you can mention Robert's books and the Jihad Watch site. . .)
I made a bumper sticker like that for my car, and below it put the Jihad Watch address. A couple of people have already asked questions, and seemed interested. And so far, no one has "keyed" my car.
