Entitled Moderation In Islam In The Context Of Muslim Community In Singapore, the book will be launched today by Mufti Syed Isa Mohamed Semait, the highest Muslim religious authority here....Responding to calls that moderate Muslims should speak up against acts of terrorism, some 130 religious scholars deliberated on issues and definitions that were often misunderstood. For example, the meaning of extremism and the understanding of 'jihad' are discussed in the book.

Instead, jihad has to be understood in its 'broader meaning, which is to make the best effort for Allah', including self-improvement, community development or missionary work.

So now the Singapore mufti is going to explain blandly that jihad means striving to be good, and not just warfare? No, they will regard it with utmost respect, as the taqiyya it is. Taqiyya is just another front on the jihadi war for the world-wide Ummah.
Without taqiyya, there could be no jihad, because warfare costs money, and the taqiyyists and apologists are responsible for raising the money to fund the jihads. Like Dr. Sami Al Aryan (R-Academe).
I once read a book that listed all the "Be A Good Citizen" publications that the Nazis printed up - this one could fit in right alongside them.

Actually, I believe that my government knows all there is to know about islam and the danger it poses. However, as being predominantly chinese, we handle islam differently. We encourage and let the muslim believe that islam is "peaceful" and teaches respect for other faiths so that they don't bother the community and everyone can live peacefully together. The less muslims know about the Quran, hadiths, etc, the better. In fact, I don't even think that the Quran is sold in any public bookstore and only government censored and approved versions are made available to the mosques. We also have internal security agents monitor the activities and teachings of the mosque and arrest without trial any preacher preaching hate and violence.

I'm sorry to be so late in returning to you; I don't get up to the site as often as I'd like, so I miss a lot.
The answer to your question is affirmative. I was thinking that a standard homing device could be used. Many of them have a pretty good radius, and the dolts who are out there kidnapping people tend to hide their victims pretty near where the crime was committed. The surrounding suspect area could be reasonably easily searched for a homing signal.
I don't know much about GPS technology, but that would be even better!
Something has to be done, for sure.

You make a very valid point. If Malcontents and there seems thousands of 'em, angry young men who would prefer to go on Jihad than keep a job - wanting to believe it is always the fault of Infidels they are poor, it would be a flash point if these guys knew too much about the incitement to kill non believers and all the hate in Qur'an.
Not to mention the example of disgusting murderous lifestyle of their Prophet...
