While Muslim Council of Britain members try to secure the release of Ken Bigley in Iraq on the grounds that Islam forbids targeting non-combatants, some of their coreligionists back home were plotting to set off a dirty bomb that would probably have killed a non-combatant or two, either in Britain or the USA. ANTI-TERRORIST police have arrested four men suspected of trying to buy material for a radiological “dirty” bomb. Three men were arrested at a hotel in north London, while a fourth was arrested at his home nearby.It has been reported that the men — one of whom was from Goa, India, another from Somalia and a third from Mozambique — were middlemen acting for a Saudi Arabian.
The men were arrested on Friday after a tip-off from reporters at the News of the World. The suspects claimed to the reporters that their client was willing to pay £300,000 for a kilogram of radioactive “red mercury”.“It’ll be for use here in the UK or the USA,” the reporters were told.
Just another fine example of Muslim Brotherhood. One bringing flowers while another prepares to stab you in the back.

found so far...'If the police have to rely on tips from newspapers then their security and anti-terror measures are at a pitiful LOW. Something that will no doubt be realised by Jihadi Bombers.

THe question now is, will the Bush administration and US media report this? It certianly makes a strong case for a coninuted intensification for the war on terror and the dire need for a strong, decisive leadership at the helm of our nation.
I actually wonder how many such plots or attempts have been stopped and we simply haven't heard about them.
The terrorists have only to succeed once for the free world to fail. A dirty bomb going off in a western city (oh, what-the-hell, anglo-saxon city) and claiming casualities in 4 or maybe even 5 digits will change everything irreversibly. Civil liberties, tolerance, press freedom, religious freedom and rule-of-law maybe (temporarily, I hope) suspended as Govt's mobilize all-out for war at home and mobs of citizens take to the streets targetting mosques and moslems at random.
I mean this is the ultimate scare scenario. I wonder what the jahdis will gain by making it happen. it'll destry their base irrepairably in the west.
Voletti, you are quite right in saying a big terrorist strike in the West , killing thousands, would possibly destroy islam's bases in the West . But the jihadists are only human (some would say less than) and they are arrogant, impatient and egotistical They don't want to wait another 50 years to see if the muslim population growth in the west will lead to our fall. The reality is that even if the West does nothing to stop islam there's probably not a muslim alive today who will see islam victorious in a global sense. The jihadists want to make their mark now and damn the consequences. They want to go to "paradise" taking as many infidels as possible with them. Their weakness is the weakness of all psychopaths - they need instant gratification, they need bloodshed. Therefore the mental illness and feelings of inadequecy that makes them scary is also what makes them weak.
P.S Good to see that another Hamas leader is now in muslim paradise (hell) enjoying a bowl of raisans. They're not even safe in Syria !

If the Jihadis are successful though, then it endangers the presence of the ummah in the West. Thus what the jihadis are doing, is ultimately self defeating, as the main threat to our civilisation is not terrorism but the demographic one. So why do they do it, as they are assured that final victory will be theirs, as guaranteed by allah. No matter what may happen, Islam will be victorious, is what they believe in. Given that, why bother at all.
I hazard, that it is the promise of paradise guaranteed the Muslim if he dies a martyr to the cause of Islam. It would seems logical to die a martyr and get the Jihad paradise promise delivered now, before the final Islamic victory annuls that promise.
On a separate note, I wish HMG will release Abu Hamza. He is a good honest Muslim, and very much on our side.

What happened to Steve_UK. He was one of the most aggressive posters I have ever seen. He behaved as if he owned this forum. In fact his behaviour is symptomatic of Muslims in general; they regard the West as belonging to them and we are just interlopers, or at best caretakers till the rightful owners, Muslims, arrived to claim their rightful inheritance granted to them by allah.
I see no way out of this mess until we have reversed Muslim immigration/invasion. If that can be done, then Islamism and Islam will die, for this beast needs to continually expand just to survive.
Little Stevie made a boast on the Cat Stevens thread, apparently hoping the outcome be in his favor. He hasn't shown up since, which means:
1. he hasn't been online.
2. he changed his handle and is hiding behind another persona.
